Mariachi is a new condensed version of our Maison Luxe font which is a revival of an old 1800's classic ornate French font. This new 2021 condensed version takes this old classic to an all new level by adding small caps, italics and a new solid black version. Mariachi is perfect for headlines and logos from advertising to product labels, t-shirt lettering and restaurant menus. Fill fonts are also part of this family, new to this font style is the half fill font for creating a two color effect on the letters, you'll need an application that works in layers to use the fill fonts in Mariachi. In 1968, Adrian Frutiger was commissioned to develop a sign and directional system for the new Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Though everyone thought he would want to use his successful Univers font family, Frutiger decided instead to make a new sans serif typeface that would be suitable for the specific legibility requirements of airport signage: easy recognition from the distances and angles of driving and walking. The resulting font was in accord with the modern architecture of the airport. In 1976, he expanded and completed the family for D. Stempel AG in conjunction with Linotype, and it was named Frutiger. The Frutiger™ family is neither strictly geometric nor humanistic in construction; its forms are designed so that each individual character is quickly and easily recognized. Such distinctness makes it good for signage and display work. The Face2Face (F2F) series was inspired by the techno sound of the mid-1990s, personal computers and new font creation software. For years, Sibylle Schlaich and her friends formed a unique type design collective, which churned out a substantial amount of fresh, new fonts, none of which complied with the traditional rules of typography. Many of these typefaces were used to create layouts for the leading German techno magazine of the 1990s, Frontpage. Schlaich and her fellows would even set in type at 6 points, in order to make it nearly unreadable. It was a pleasure for the kids to read and decrypt these messages! Nudista was originally conceived as a display type, but it is sufficiently legible even in text sizes. Thus, it suits short texts in corporate prints. Carefully chiselled letter curves are sturdy and well suited for the harsh conditions of low-resolution printing devices, they work well on computer screens and mobile phone displays. However, Nudista works best in corporate systems, navigation and orientation systems, where it may be, also thanks to the sufficient range of weights, a good alternative to the well-known and thus a little overused DIN. Naked typeface with no needless decorations humbly serves in all places where too expressive types could be disturbing.

Both versions of this font contain complete Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

Pindorama is how the native Tupi people originally called Brazil before colonization by the Portuguese.
