Sinova is an OpenType family that is unfussy, functional, and legible, with extensive language support (some 48 languages). Thanks to its clear and straightforward design and dynamic rhythm, one of the main characteristics of Sinova is its excellent legibility, irrespective of whether it is used in longer passages as a stylish book script or for text in the digitalised office environment. Inspired by circus billboards, old west posters and torn paper constructs, "Lonely Cowpoke" is an oddity of bold graphic forms and cheerful curving lines. Revelling in its own quirky nature, this playful font lightens up any mood.

Browsing through images of old wood type for sale, a Western type design with some interesting character variations made the perfect subject for a digital revival. Western Territory JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Pickfair JNL is based on the vintage wood type Vandenburgh Tuscan (circa 1867), and gets its name from the mansion owned by Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford—two of the founding partners of United Artists movie studios.

Campuni is a sans-serif typeface that can be described as an “upright italic”: its letters are modeled on the handwritten forms of italics—but without the slant. Now Appearing JNL is a digital version of some hand-lettering spotted on an early 1960s ad for a Miami Beach night club. Its fun, casual appearance makes it perfectly suitable for any project that conveys a relaxed atmosphere. The font was intentionally not kerned, so the free-flowing form of the lettering is at its best, but it can be set tight by hand if a more compact look is desired.

Decade Nouveau JNL is based on examples of an Art Nouveau wood type with a bit of Latin/Western typographic flare, and yet it is also reminiscent of the style's revival during the hippie movement of the 1960s.

This is a fake and a fraud and not a bad-looking type. We did this to imitate the look of an old wood poster font, but it is completely new. Don't tell anyone. Please note: no lowercase.

Chico was by designed by Javier Mariscal and Josema Urós specifically for the final roll of credits in the animated film Chico y Rita. The goal was to design a typeface with a good readability but that conveyed a strong script character and, in some way, tuned to the style of line used throughout the film. Using a modular sans-serif as a template, Javier Mariscal reinterpreted the forms freely, while maintaining gridlike proportions. Chico can be useful for comic-book lettering, editorial work and display applications.

My Dizzy Edge font is really not that dizzy! Valsity is a squarish slab-serif family with five weights and two widths, each with an italics for a total of twenty members. With negligible contrast, it is almost monoline. It is for decorative uses; it is too square and lacks the contrast to make it a good choice for extensive text. Can noise be a beautiful sound? Well, I guess...because the other day when I was playing the good old Bleach album by Nirvana (which I consider lovely grunge music!) my wife yelled "Could you stop that noise?!" - and I answered "What noise?!" - ha-ha-ha! Anyway, I finished this font while listening to that particular lovely noise, and I knew that this crunchy, grungy, handmade and full of contextual alternates and multilingual font had to be named something with the word "noise" in it!
