Fungis is a somewhat �brother� of Fungia. These two typefaces were conceived simultaneously as an experiment on designing typeface based on natural shapes. In both cases it was mushrooms. Of course the main theme of these typefaces is not mushrooms itself (it was just a start point) but the interaction between form and counterform. In spite of unquestioning individuality the font has some associations with wood typefaces from wild west, typefaces from circus posters of 19th century and even slight feeling of gothic. The font can be useful in different cases: posters, titles, book covers, billboards, street signs, magazine spreads and all situations that demand expressive typography.

Fun Signs JNL comprises twenty-six humorous signs from a 1930s-era sales list of products manufactured by the Koehler Sign Company of St. Louis, Missouri. Koehler manufactured a large line of stock cardboard "Blue Signs" (presumably blue backgrounds with white lettering) and alongside the many standard phrases used by various businesses was a list of funny sayings. Such placards were bought by merchants to either evoke interest in their services (such as in a bar or restaurant, or jokingly comment on their business policies (as in credit billing). These novelty signs are a fun addition to a flier, ad, web page or announcement and will leave your readers smiling.

Rail Line JNL is a font for the railroad enthusiast for making their own model train car emblems. The logos contained in this font are or may be the property of the various rail companies, their assigns and/or successors. Outside of non-profit hobby use or for historical/educational purpose under the Fair Use rules, any commercial application of these logos must be obtained by written permission by the respective logo owner or owners. This one may look rather strange at a first sight, but it has the true power of coolify written pieces. (Please don’t use it to say “Attorneys’s Conference”, nor “Annual Statement of Accounts”, unless you mean them to be cool, which is very unlikely.) Melodia has 3 glyph drawings for each uppercase letter, 3 more for each lowercase and 2 for the numerals. There are even alternates for punctuation, go figure: there are 3 commas and 3 periods. Surprising. To activate the automatic cycling of all these alternates, simply turn on the Contextual Alternates feature in your application. And it doesn’t hurt to remind: use it only on cool stuff.

One of four fonts consisting of the best old fashioned panels from Golden Era Studios. Each font contains 36 expertly drawn panels. Each letter generates a different design. Special Note: Due to the large file size of these fonts, they will not convert for use in Gerber Omega. Instead, Omega users may wish to use an alternate program to type the characters and import them into Omega as .eps files. CorelDraw users should use the "Weld" command rather than "Convert to Curves" command to convert these fonts to vector outlines. Otherwise, the program may crash due to the sheer number of points in each panel.

Authenia is a casually and quickly written brush script. Letters are made with brush pen on a paper. Then scanned and carefully drawn into vector format. There is just a right amount of texture left so it looks good in small and big sizes. These elements gives Authenia its organic, authentic and laid-back characteristics. Authenia has two sets of lower cases to give some variation and more natural look to your text. You can enable Contextual Alternates on OpenType panel to make these two sets vary randomly. It also has a bunch of stylistic alternates and underlines that makes your text and design even more appealing.

Flamme was designed by Alan Meeks and appeared with ITC in 1993. It is a strong brush script with each stroke doubled and has a nostalgic, retro style. The 1930s and 40s saw an increase in the production of modern script typefaces in foundries all over the world. Expanding markets and their advertisements demanded more and more new typefaces, which then also appeared in newspapers and magazines. A distinguishing characteristic of these typefaces is their informal hastiness and calligraphic roots, a combination which was to embody progress and modernity. Flamme is best used for headlines and short texts in point sizes of 14 and larger.

Throughout the history of typography there have been countless attempts to simplify the alphabet. In the early 20th century, modernist designers experimented with reducing the alphabet to basic geometric shapes. Prozac pushes this utopian experiment further by reducing the roman alphabet to just six shapes. These shapes are then flipped or rotated to make up the 26 letters of the alphabet. Sheet music for the song "Beyond the Blue Horizon" from the motion picture "Monte Carlo" had the movie title in hand-lettering reminiscent of the Futura Black style, but with an inline stripe through each character. These few letter examples were the basis for Gambling Resort JNL and conjure up the Nouveau Riche spending their nights in Monte Carlo packing the roulette wheels, blackjack tables and slot machines.

Although wood types were at their peak of use during the letterpress era of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, there is a growing revival movement of "boutique" print shops who have embraced the look and texture of this form of printing. More modern in design that many of its counterparts, Pleasantwood JNL is still a nice addition to the wood type library re-drawn digitally by Jeff Levine Fonts.

Nature Stencils JNL brings together a number of vintage decorator stencils with bird and flower motifs (along with individualized elements from the original designs). These home decor stencils were manufactured by the Huntington Oil Cured Stencil Company somewhere around the early 1950s. Originally located in Huntington, New York, the company later relocated to the South Florida area, but there is no additional information found about the company's background.

Back in the 20th Century B.C. (Before Computers) there was what was known as a "paper" office. Workers used typewriters, correction fluid and a drawer full of rubber stamps. Jeff Levine has taken twenty-six of the common phrases found on those old office stamps and created Stamp of Approval JNL. Use these images as they are, or run them through a filter for a worn or inked-up effect.

Flores del Sol is a cursive, calligraphic script font with swashed characters, ligatures and full latin and cyrillic support. It is elegant yet friendly and playful and is perfect for logotypes, floral and boutique themes, products T-shirts, scrapbooking postcards or even weddings and name cards. There is no such thing as a talking cat, however, you can often find these in adventures, movies and other stories.
