This revival of Harry is based on the original design by Marty Goldstein (and C.B. Smith). Goldstein, born in Chicago in 1939, was the co-founder of the groundbreaking Creative Black Book. He graduated from the Pratt Institute in 1960. Harry, first published by VGC in 1966, was named for his father. ITF has added four new weights to the original six.

This typeface family is developed with the designer in mind. WBP Nel is a narrow sans serif with lots of options. The Regular consists of UPPERCASE and lowercase glyphs, beautiful kerning and a nice ampersand. All other styles are just uppercase and made to give your designs some extra flair. The Brickbuild is a playful, stencil version and the Dots (freebie) is a dotted typeface. The Light and Heavy version complement the Regular beautifully. These two also come with a display variant, the WBP Nel Stamped and WBP Nel Hypno. Cusp is a display font that was initially inspired by austere Art Deco lettering. After the capitals were refined, then the lowercase was designed with a bit of techno flair. From these basic letterforms a variety of styles were created, ranging from the rigid DeStijl to the whimsical Loose. The result is a versatile display font family that allows the user to mix, match, and overlay the letters for a dynamic effect. In-fact 2 overlay fonts were designed specifically so that one can create graffiti-like multi-layered effects. Cusp is a super-kawaii display family of 16 fonts plus 2 overlay fonts.

This is a type design based on a retrospective food design posters from 1950 in the United States. The intention was to create handmade letters ideal for handmade projects. The principal reference was the book of Steven Heller Mid-Century Ads. This typeface was the graduation project of my degree as graphic designer.

Georges Peignot designed Cochin based on copper engravings of the 18th century and Charles Malin cut the typeface in 1912 for the Paris foundry Deberny & Peignot. The font is named after the French engraver Charles Nicolas Cochin (1715–1790) although its style had little to do with that of the copper artist’s. The font displays a curious mix of style elements and could be placed as a part of the typographical Neorenaissance movement. Cochin is especially large and wide and was very popular at the beginning of the 20th century.

A sheet music edition of an early 1900s song entitled "You Taught Me How to Love You, Now Teach Me to Forget" was hand lettered in a free-form Art Nouveau style that combined varying line widths and character shapes. This unrestricted style of lettering was popularly embraced and revived by the hippie counterculture of the mid-1960s through the mid-1970s through their rock concert posters, record album covers and tee shirt graphics. It is now available digitally as Nouveau Artiste JNL. As a side note, a 1940s reprint of the sheet music was done in a popular metal typeface, which was also redrawn digitally and available as Elite Resort JNL [in both regular and oblique versions].

Varisse spans over two centuries of type design and draws its inspiration from well-loved classics that are as fresh today as they were when they were created. Strangelove Next is inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s movie “Dr. Strangelove”. The original titles were designed by Pablo Ferro, who is one of the most acclaimed film title designers, especially famous for his hand-drawn lettering.
