Introducing Rumble Brave Vintage Fonts Packages. Lately I've been happy to see the design style with its vintage Victorian classic. Hence from that I launched fonts packages with vintage style. In this package, there are three types of letters: serif, script, and dingbat. The three font combinations are compatible with the Victorian classic design concept. You can also use each font by itself, without combining it with the others in the package.

This rugged typeface is based on letterforms in the Cherokee Syllabary, reputedly devised by a gentleman named Sequoyah in the early nineteenth century. In addition, Native American petroglyphs—some authentic Cherokee designs, some from other tribes—are included in several positions. The name of the typeface, however, is authentic Cherokee, and can be loosely translated as “Yo! Wuzzup?” Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Happy Halloween (and All Souls Day and Day of the Dead)! I’ve seen other fonts made up of bones of various kinds, but none with this variety. Henry Gray’s Anatomy of the Human Body (the book, not Grey’s Anatomy, the TV series) was heavily scoured to find more unusual bones shaped like letters. You’ll find Los Muertos both fun and appropriate for the up-coming holidays. (Uppercase is Solid, lowercase is Outline).

Astrum is a very decorative script font using elegant caligraphic handwritten letters that are all mutually interconnected, creating a unique look & feel of a personalized human handwritting. Its clean and prefined lines makes Astrum very appealing and modern, although being very classical in its core essence. The idea for the creation of this font had originally came up from the need to create a beautiful design for Weddings, wedding occasions, etc., but none of the existing fonts were satisfactory - so I decided to create a new and unique typeface to fill this need. Letters and other characters are recognizeable by prefined ornaments, incorporated in a very subtle way. Whitespace between capital letters, lower-case letters, numbers and other characters are done in a way to minimize the need for kerning. The font Astrum, besides being a celebration of class and exclusivity, is a very luxurious and elegant handwritten font perfectly suited for Wedding cards. The character set for this font contains all western, central-european latin and cyrillic characters.

Pepperwood font is a joint work of the typeface designers K.B. Chansler, C. Crossgrove and C. Twombly. These artists also created the typefaces Rosewood, Zebrawood and Ponderosa together and as the names suggest, all of these typefaces are so-called wood types. The origins of this kind of typeface can be found in the early 19th century. Called Italian or Italienne, these typefaces quickly became very popular. They are distinguished by square serifs whose width is larger than the stroke width of the characters. When the letters are set together, the heavy serifs build dark horizontal bands. Pepperwood font has a couple of unique characteristics of its own. Small squares decorate the middle of the letters and the edges of the serifs are not straight, rather, they have small, fine tips. Pepperwood is reminiscent of the Wild West with its shootouts and heroes, but also suggests the glamor of the 1970s with their platform shoes and wild hair-dos. The different weights allow a large range of design possibilities. Used carefully in headlines, Pepperwood font is sure to draw attention.

I was watching a nice series the other day, which I quite enjoyed, but then I realised that the episode I was watching was in fact the last one. That kinda upset me, as I was just getting into the story. Last Episode is a handmade, all caps font - great for titling, book covers and posters. RealFat is a typeface that has been started with the intention to create a very squared bold font with a futuristic look and feel. The squared shapes also refer to the architecture of big city buildings with small windows. This font fits perfect on modern posters, flyers and other artwork or pixel based work. Most characters have the same width and height and are perfect 'building-blocks' for typographic compositions.

One in the series of fonts celebrating the Halcyon Days of Handlettering. Wigwam evokes, among other things, memories of summer camps and trailer parks of a bygone day. Based on a font presented in the 1933 book Lettering of Today by W. Ben and Ed C. Hunt. Type designer Xavier Dupré’s Garalda is a charming 21st century family that renews a legacy of finesse. As paragraphs on a page, Garalda’s overall impression is of a workaday personality, committed to the main purpose of the job: easy long-form reading. But setting it in display sizes proves something different: This reinvented Garamond is anything but basic. The Garalda story begins with the serendipitous finding of a book typeset in a rare Garalde, called Tory-Garamond, with which Dupré was not immediately familiar. This Garamond was used in bibliophile books in the decades surrounding 1920, but after that it became déclassé for an unknown reason. Dupré found the italic styles especially charming and discovered the family was probably the mythical Ollière Garamond cut from 1914. He obtained low resolution scans of the typeface and used them, rather than high resolution scans, as the basis for his new type family. This allowed Dupré the mental freedom to experiment and remix as he saw fit, culminating in a contemporary family with heritage. As seen in the simplistic rectangular serifs, Garalda is a humanist slab serif, but with a mix of angles and curves to give the classic shapes a fresh, unorthodox feeling. While almost invisible in paragraph text, these produce a graphic effect in display work. The set of ligatures in the roman and italics lend themselves to unique display use, such as creating lovely logotypes. In the italics, some swashes inspired by different historic Garamonds are included, sometimes breaking their curves to be more captivating. Just look at how the italic ‘*-s’ ligatures create ‘s’ with a cursive formation rather than merely a flowing slant. And how the roman ‘g’ link swings as wide as a trainer’s whip. These are all balanced by squared serifs in the roman to keep an overall mechanised regularity. The Garalda family comes in eight styles, includes some of the original arrows and ornaments, and speaks multiple languages for all typesetting needs, from pamphlets to fine book printing. In English folklore (in particular that of Yorkshire and Lancashire), Grindylow is a creature that dwells in rivers and lakes and is said to grab children who come too close to the water’s edge and drown them. It is thought the name Grindylow may be connected to the monster Grendel. Grindylow font does not grab children; it is a rather messy handmade brush font. I used a cheap brush and Chinese ink to create the glyphs. Comes with discretionary double letter ligatures for the lower case.

Pandilla was inspired from personal sketches and letters developed by the past of the years making graffiti art. the forms of this typeface are related with the graffiti and street scenes of the different cities around the world and takes traits and elements of the Handstyle, Classic graffiti, Brazilian Pichação and different urban letters. This font has a variety of objectives, the first is to create a legible version of the graffiti inscriptions and use this typography for different print pieces, the second objective is to give back the essence of the meaning of the word "Pandilla", this word has been transformed for the past of the decades and now is associated with negative things. The original meaning of this word is a group of people who feel a close relationship, which usually have a friend or close interaction with ideals or common philosophy among members. Pandilla is to be used in different print purposes and graphic pieces like: Posters, Brochures, Magazines, Business cards and different stuff that uses big type sizes and big display formats.

Ben Harris' illustrated cover for the sheet music of "I Found A Million Dollar Baby (in a Five and Ten Cent Store)" from 1931's "Billy Rose's Crazy Quilt" lists the show's stars and other credits in a pen lettered monoline design with rounded terminals. This early Art Deco type style has now become the digital font Variety Store JNL (a reference to the Five and Ten Cent stores alluded to in the song title from the sheet music).

A Western Union telegram from 1951 provided the typographic inspiration for Message by Wire JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. Unlike other available type fonts which emulate the ink ribbon-struck printed characters from the teletype machines, this version was redrawn to celebrate the actual type design itself. The typeface letter spacing has been equalized so that when in use, it looks much like the printed output of an old telegram messsage.

Soma is inspired by the Soma cube and the work of MC Escher. The font uses geometric patterns to create “impossible” glyphs. Some can be easily imagined; others bend the mind. Many alternate versions of glyphs have been provided for additional design possibilities. This is my 2nd most popular font at Dafont with over 50,000 downloads. The original set was 26 basic characters (A-Z), repeated for uppercase and lowercase. Now the set is almost 300 glyphs.

Verge exploratory information transmitter Verge type family operates at the very edge of art and technology in the typographic constellation. Its fairing is designed with a new technique that adds better stability to the curvature. It is prepared for all environments and communicates with minimized latency. The letters of this contemporary slab serif are compact, clear and rather simple. It is suitable for branding, longer texts, information graphics and signalization. The typeface’s x-height is a little above 70% of its capitals. The italics are designed at a 7° angle.
