Rudolf Koch’s personal form of the geometric sanserif started at the Bauhaus in 1926; this typeface was designed for Klingspor in the following year.

The influence for this font came from the Fred Africian's uppercase letter composition shapes, published in "The Art of Letter-type" album, Yerevan, 1984.

Solantra is a solidly crafted handwritten script. I’ve long felt that beautiful writing is more pleasing to the eye than the more attention grabbing swashes and flourishes. That being said, both have their role in design and Solantra has a large slice of each. Solantra combines vintage style handwriting with all its quirks and English Roundhand of that same era. The result is a solid setting script filled with charm and personality. With default Adobe Illustrator settings for Ligatures and Contextual Alternates active, the vintage charm is in full display. Want to add more flair? There are loads of more embellished letters inside the full version. Solantro takes into account how scripts are actually written so that connections from letter to letter are more fluid and rhythmic than the average script font. In natural script/handwriting most letters end at the bottom right and move up to connect with the next. Some letters like o, v, and w, however; end at the top right. Rather than force these letters to dip down and go back up they should ideally connect from that upper right point. This is accomplished through a series of alternate letters and ligatures with extensive contextual feature programming. So, for example, you might get one version of a ligature in the middle of a word and a different one at the beginning or end of that word. Solantra also takes into account another often overlooked feature of natural handwriting. When you write you inevitably pick your pen up from the paper at times. This is often just to reposition the hand, but in the days of writing with dip pens this was also needed to attain a fresh supply of ink. Having these occasional breaks in connections makes the writing less static and more rhythmic. While the Basic versions are limited to a standard character set and several ligatures and alternates for better settings of text, the full pro versions contains 1292 glyphs and an abundance of features. Even with numbers there are options like Oldstyle numbers, fractions, and ordinals. Central European language support is included as well as some select ligatures that use accents. Hand-hewn along the banks of the mighty River Raisin in Southeast Michigan, this heavy block typeface is the perfect addition to any design project in need of a stout, yet fun typographical treatment. Before this font made its journey into the outside world, it began its life as a 4B pencil sketch on cheap inkjet printer paper, as many of my projects do. This typeface, not unlike me, doesn't waste its time with finesse, or convention, and truly doesn't mind being a little bit on the thick side. The 1912 American Type Founders specimen catalog carried the pattern for this typeface, under the rather unimaginative name of "Pen Print". Its irrepressible insouciance makes it equally suitable for downtown or down home applications. A travel poster from the 1940s for Mexican tourism provided the inspiration for this voluptuous font with a strong architectural feel. Dimensions is redesigned font family based on Blackout font released as free font in 2005. The original blackout has been used especially for company or brand logo of fashion and music label in the world. In 2011, Blackout had evolved into this Dimensions font family of seven weights with roman and italics. They are one of the most condensed, black and skinny font in the world. I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I usually buy fertilised eggs online and place them in my incubator, which says that it is 'fully automatic'. Of course I added that rather random introduction to tell you how I came up with the name for this new font... Fully Automatic is a handmade cartoon font: I used a sharpie pen to draw the glyphs onto rough paper. The result is a wobbly, yet quite clean cartoon font. Fully automatic comes with extensive language support and two sets of alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type.

Peter started as a sketch in the static sans-serif tradition of Helvetica®. Then slight references to the calligraphic origin of type were added, giving it a more distinct character. This neo-grotesque sans has rational and clear basic letterforms, while in its details it unfolds attributes of humanist type. As a neo-grotesque sans it claims a very modest design, yet being a bit wider than its relatives and offering the warmth of humanist drafts. I like orange juice. Come on, who doesn't? Orange juice is the drink of heroes; it's the elixir of life; it's the gods' own ambrosia. Suco De Laranja means orange juice in Portuguese and I named this font thus, just because I love the stuff! Suco De Laranja is a very narrow, very gentle typeface with a rough edge. It comes in a variety of languages and guess what? I have added Cyrillic as well. Just to be complete. So there you have it: a font named after a juice. Take a sip and enjoy! На здоровье!

Whenever I've stayed in Munich my friend Michael Bundscherer and I go on a typographical expedition. When we talk about that, we remember the bygone world of sign painter. On one of the facades of a furniture shop in Munich, you can discover the lettering of the name in golden letters. This one convinced us because of the simple elegance Art Deco. These letters on the facade are in any case the character set, which forms the basis of this document. The missing (especially the lowercase letters and the numbers) were modeled. The "OPEN" called version tries to replicate the 3-D effect. The font is particularly suitable for shorter texts and headlines.

Alta Mesa is a revival of an old type design from the 1800's that was sold by most of the type foundries in the US and Europe of that time period so it is difficult to know the foundry of origin. New with this version are the fill fonts and plain styles, the fill fonts may be used as stand alone fonts, however the letter spacing is much wider, the plain versions are recommended if you desire a solid black weight. The regular Fill font is in registration with the Regular and Open versions while the Fill L font is in registration with the L and Open L versions. This was a very charming font in its time which was heavily used on old billheads and letterheads. We're pleased to bring this type design, which hasn't been used for over 100 years, into the digital world today.

Excritura is the third typeface created by the Spanish designer Alex Camacho. “LAPOYA” (meaning in english “the coolest”) is a large slab serif typeface family, with a certain Italian inverted contrast touch. Specially designed for advertising big shows and commerces, Lapoya has 36 variables and four axes, including a text and decorative versions, where the drawing and width of its counterforms vary. It also has icons that remember the old aesthetics of wood types from the early 20th century, and more than 400 characters with a multitude of signs and ligatures, that make Lapoya ideal for up to 89 languages. It is clearly inspired by the large wood types designed for posters, advertisements and newspapers. Since they were introduced in the 19th century, slab serifs have become extremely popular. In fact, serifs are often enlarged, not so much to look like beautiful or balanced letters, but to be more graphic and visual powerful than others. Dynamic and sportive. A well-balanced experiment for sparkling headlines. Glance Slab is an experimental design that plays on the tension between connection and detachment. In this typeface, serifs may be detached and some strokes may not connect to their stems. This creates a dynamic impression of balance and movement. The elegance of an ice skater and the determination of a quarterback: Glance Sans has it all. Where a curve meets a stem and where serifs seem to “hover” near their respective letters, the nonjoining elements create an impression similar to a stencil typeface. But here, the function of the gaps differs from strictly stencil designs: while the gaps provide a “sparkling” effect in Glance Slab that’s clearly visible in large sizes, they take on the role of ink traps when set smaller, making for surprisingly legible body copy. Bombora evolved over years of designs in the world of surfing. The native name is given to massive surf building up over a reef, often dangerous, always spectacular. The font family Univers is one of the greatest typographic achievements of the second half of the 20th century. The family has the advantage of having a variety of weights and styles, which, even when combined, give an impression of steadiness and homogeneity. In 1954 the French type foundry Deberny & Peignot wanted to add a linear sans serif type in several weights to the range of the Lumitype fonts. Adrian Frutiger, the foundry’s art director, suggested refraining from adapting an existing alphabet. He wanted to instead make a new font that would, above all, be suitable for the typesetting of longer texts — quite an exciting challenge for a sans-serif font at that time. Starting with his old sketches from his student days at the School for the Applied Arts in Zurich, he created the Univers type family. In 1957, the family was released by Deberny & Peignot, and afterwards, it was produced by Linotype. The Deberny & Peignot type library was acquired in 1972 by Haas, and the Haas’sche Schriftgiesserei (Haas Type Foundry) was folded into the D. Stempel AG/Linotype collection in 1985/1989.

The bushy weed commonly known as foxtail provides the inspiration for this set of ornaments, and reveals its connection to the prairies. The appearance has an affinity to cowboy themed work.

David Philpott was inspired by the flax growing on the side of the motorway out of Wellington, New Zealand, and crafted this very distinctive, natural typeface family based on the plants.

This font is based on the Latin-based font for Linear B syllable writing. It contains all the characters. To see some full characters, you can use Turkish characters by selecting the font from the add character section of the word program. Linear B was a syllabic script that was used for writing in Mycenaean Greek, the earliest attested form of Greek. The script predates the Greek alphabet by several centuries. The oldest Mycenaean writing dates to about 1400 BC. It is descended from the older Linear A, an undeciphered earlier script used for writing the Minoan language, as is the later Cypriot syllabary, which also recorded Greek. Linear B, found mainly in the palace archives at Knossos, Cydonia, Pylos, Thebes and Mycenae, disappeared with the fall of Mycenaean civilization during the Late Bronze Age collapse. The succeeding period, known as the Greek Dark Ages, provides no evidence of the use of writing. Linear B, deciphered by English architect and self-taught linguist Michael Ventris based on the research of American classicist Alice Kober[5] is the only Bronze Age Aegean script to have thus far been deciphered.

Our main purpose while developing this typeface was to reconstruct, in the most precise way, the first ten plates of the “Arte de Escribir”, in a chapter named “Enseñanza de la letra italiana, y sus principales variaciones, autores, sistemas, &c.”, dedicated to the analysis of the Italian Script. We decided by this plates because those are the few that don’t refer, directly or indirectly, to any author in particular. We strongly believe that these plates reflect the freedom of his very own calligraphy and are closely related to the calligraphic style that was a success among the spanish calligraphers: the Spanish Bastarda.

This family was inspired by the two fonts used by the famous William Caxton in Westminster (UK) in the late 1400s. There is only one (Normal) style. We have added the accented characters and others not in use in the early time of printing, but the ligatures and the few abbreviations for the Old English language and Latin were present in the original fonts. The original cap height is about five to seven millimeters. Decorated letters like 1495 Lombardes, 1512 Initials, 1550 Arabesques, 1565 Venetian, and 1584 Rinceau can be used in complement with this font without anachronism.
