Neon Bugler Squared is a soft, boxy version of Neon Bugler, which is a font based on the third logo created by Harry Warren in early 1975 for his sixth grade class newsletter, The Broadwater Bugler, at Broadwater Academy in Exmore, Virginia, on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. This font design has these principles as its parameters: The letters generally follow what would be natural stroke directions; no sharp corners, all gentle turns; no lines back up over each other, cross each other, or run into each other. All of this civility between the lines produces an unintentional but welcome neon quality about it. This font can have a variety of vibes depending on its context-it has a certain nostalgia to it, yet it also has a slick, clean, futuristic, sci-fi look. It can even be used in a semi-grunge setting. Motiva Sans is the chosen typeface for Valve’s Steam OS, a 125.000.000+ users gaming platform. With 7 weights and matching italics (a total of 14 fonts), it comes with essential OpenType features such as small caps, caps to small caps, tabular, lining, oldstyle figures, fractions as well as extended language support and alternate characters in the italic weights. It performs well in printed and digital environments. The italics are more cursive than the average sans serif design and provide very good contrast to the their roman counterparts. The wealth of vintage hand-lettering styles found in a 1941 edition of the Speedball® Lettering Pen instruction book has allowed Jeff Levine to re-draw a number of them in digital format for today's designers. As with other fonts in the Eckhardt Series of sign painter-inspired styles, this font is named in honor of Jeff's good friend Albert Eckhardt, Jr. Al was quite the talented sign writer, and ran Allied Signs in Miami, Florida from 1959 until his passing.

Introducing a vintage label font named Mountain Expedition. It contains capital and small characters. The small letters I created to support main design of the capital letters. Therefore the punctuation characters are designed to be used just with the capitals. Also the capital characters have a lot of ligatures. All available characters you can see on the preview. This strong typeface will be good viewed on vintage style posters, t-shirts, greeting cards, logo and more.

The LifeAfterCollege family began as a set of four fonts based on two styles of Ranger, which are slab-serif, geometric fonts with no curves. Two of the four are outlines with hollow insides, and two have-filled insides. The two fonts that are outlined have been taken apart and made into three typeface that can be layered. This allows one color for the inside, another for the middle ring, and a third for the outside outline.

Inspired from Cambodia’s alphabet, Khmer. I tried to explore the visual of the original character in Latin characters. Inspired by 2 gothic fonts, Old London (for the modern/straight feel) and Berliner (for the dynamic between thin and bold line). The letters are made with pencil in a millimeter block book, then scanned into clean vector format. And the result can be use for Display or a Headline with traditional or ethnic theme, including film, game, event, etc.

Soma is inspired by the Soma cube and the work of MC Escher. The font uses geometric patterns to create “impossible” glyphs. Some can be easily imagined; others bend the mind. Many alternate versions of glyphs have been provided for additional design possibilities. This is my 2nd most popular font at Dafont with over 50,000 downloads. The original set was 26 basic characters (A-Z), repeated for uppercase and lowercase. Now the set is almost 300 glyphs.

On one hand, this font serves as a calm sans-serif, while on the other, it stands alone as a graphic system. Enriched with various shapes and symbols, it goes beyond the mere conveyance of information through text. Flagstaff JNL takes the lettering from Roma Initial Caps JNL and gives them the movement of an unfurled banner. For added effect, there are flagpoles facing in either direction on the lesser and greater keys. Left and right flag ends are placed on the parenthesis keys; a wide blank flag panel is on the left brace key and a narrow blank flag panel is on the right brace key. Letters only; no punctuation or extended characters.

In 1991, catering entrepreneurs Daan van der Have, Hans Loos and Dorine de Vos refurbished the at the time vacant property into a hotel/restaurant. To honor its 25 years existence, we celebrate this happening with a brand-new font, ‘America Line’. A tribute to Wim ten Broek, the multi-talented Dutch Graphic Designer. As early as the 1930’s before the Second World War, Wim ten Broek made the famous posters for the Holland-America Line. The influence of A.M. Cassandre here in, is clearly recognizable. Wim ten Broek also worked for HAL with large surfaces and fixed lines in which primary colors dominate, accentuated with shadows acquired by spraying technique. He also made graphic works for, among others, the World Exhibition in New York, the Dutch railway company ‘Werkspoor’ and the royal Dutch steel factory ‘Hoogovens’. His drawings and lettering gave me a love for the trade and naturally gave me a completely different view on fonts. That’s how I slowly but surely made my way to the trade. Based on the letters I had at my disposal from the Holland – America Line poster, I started to complete the alphabet in the same style as the original text. I digitized everything in order to acquire a usable and modern font. Another jewel of the vast treasure of historical font designs was digged out and brought to life again. Due to the courtesy of the Quay Brothers, London, who yielded to me an age-old brochure of Albert Auspurg’s ‚Miami‘, released by Schriftguss in 1934, I was able to redesign this elegant font. This font which I called ‚Elbflorenz‘, a cognomen for Dresden, contains West and Central European type faces as well as those for Romanian and Turkish. Boutiera is an upright and soft vintage script with a modern twist. Its main characteristics are bouncy baseline, round forms and bumpy stems. Kobely is a reproduction of a local broadcaster's real handwriting. My daughter thought her boss's handwriting was so neat and uniform, it would make a great font and asked if I would be willing to create it. I agreed. She had him write out all the basic characters, which he gladly did with both a standard ink pen and a Sharpie¨ marker. I then turned it into a three weight family, perfect for use on post-it notes, shopping and to-do lists - anywhere you need the natural feel of real handwriting. I created it in various weights to spare you from adding a stroke to make it bolder. Adding a stroke can often compromise the small details of a font. Dubbel Zout in Dutch means ‘Double Salt’. I admit, it sounds better in Dutch… Dubbel Zout is a kind of licorice which we (in Holland) love! Not many people actually like it, but I know of one addict in Denmark, who eats it by the bagful. Dubbel Zout is a ‘crayon-ish’ font - all caps, different upper and lower glyphs that you can mix and a royal assortment of diacritics. It may be an acquired taste, but once you get used to it, you’re hooked!

Alecko is a distinctive didone-style typeface, which is strongly influenced by calligraphy, but is at the same time drawn with mathematical precision. Ingone is a slightly irregular sans-serif face. It was designed to complement PattyDay and HeyPumpkin, but can be used alone if you need an informal, friendly sans-serif font. It has only one weight, but the family includes a shadowed style. In 2018 the inside of the shadowed version was separated out and made a separate typeface. The letters have the shapes of the regular version but the spacing of the shadowed version and can be layered with the shadowed version to easily produce lettering with two colors.

Sinffonia is a beautiful ornamental font family. Its thin weight and roman style makes very elegant and ideal for any high quality project. The Open Type version, plenty of ligatures, alternative Characters and ornamental characters, is carefully programmed to replace automatically the glyphs accord to the feature and context so you can modify the aspect of the text easily without any incoherence in the design (i.e. overlaps and collisions). Non Open Type users can try the four plain versions of Sinffonia, which includes some of the beautiful ornamental characters of the OT version.

JetJaneMono is a large family of sans-serif faces which are monospaced. It is very plain (plain=plane=jet). The font family has two widths and three weights, with each upright style paired with an italics style. These twelve fonts are then duplicated with another set in which small caps replace the lower-case letters. The typeface was created in 1994 and in 2021 the condensed widths were added.

Frederic Goudy designed this blackletter face based on Gutenberg's 42-line Bible. The Lombardic Caps were designed as an accompaniment to Goudy Text and are offered paired with the lower case as an alternate option. The Goudy Text Shaded is an inline variant that was added later by Lanston Monotype. Both varieties of capitals, as well as an expanded Central European character set, are offered in the Opentype set versions.

I was watching a nice series the other day, which I quite enjoyed, but then I realised that the episode I was watching was in fact the last one. That kinda upset me, as I was just getting into the story. Last Episode is a handmade, all caps font - great for titling, book covers and posters. It comes with a set of alternates and some really interesting discretional ligatures.

Quintana is a font that reflects urgency. Suitable for logos and packaging statements. Invoking the Opentype / CONTEXTUAL variant produces the word terminals for all lower-case letterforms as well as diacritic letters. This can be done individually for each letter as well. (Check out the pdf in the Gallery section for details.) Quintana also contain alternative Swashes and OldStyle numerals. (Opentype-Variants may only be accessible via Opentype-aware applications.

On occasion, when seeking retro source material for font designs, one can unearth interesting examples of typography that bridges decades with its ahead-of-its-time style. The songwriter credits on one particular piece of vintage sheet music had both the Art Deco influence but took on more of a techno look that was popularized in the 1980s. This hybrid of generations is the basis for Deco of Tomorrow JNL.

Stephen Chick, of In Your Typeface Productions (IYTP) foundry, has created this rather prickly type design. Although for display, it is surprisingly legible at smaller point sizes. There is an Inline version, and also an Inline Extra version, which has only the inner contours of the Inline itself, which can be combined with the Regular to create cool two-color effects. The extended glyph set supports Central Europe.

Hairline fonts are very clean, shining, elegant and even luxurious. They look great in fashion magazines, in the expansive world of beauty and glory. Messner is an extra-light all-caps face, especially suitable for larger sizes. Simplicity, purity and readability of its classic forms were on the first place in the creation process. Messner was a resource for designing the Kammerlander family and their combination looks very natural.

This version of Goudy Text is based on drawings from which Frederic Goudy based his Goudy Text typeface. However, there is a big difference between his original drawings (in The Alphabet and Elements of Lettering) and the subsequent metal type version, and my version maintains the greater warmth (and irregularities) of the original drawings. Goudy's Lombardy caps look especially nice when used as initial capitals with Goudy Text.

Inspired by the splatters that come from a heavily inked architectural ruling pen gliding along the surface of a highly textured watercolor page—Splash. Just as droplets of water splash the ocean’s shore, little control can be predicted and no two splashes are exactly alike. The result is wonderfully organic and natural surprises. Uchrony is a condensed proportion slab serif typeface. The font family is made up of 3 styles, Roman, Small Caps & Italics, with 6 weights each. The lowercase letter "o" has guided the basic proportions and curves, in an exercise in minimalist construction, providing morphological coherence and maximum legibility, for this multi-purpose typeface family. Unicore is a large family of geometric sans serif fonts. Design wise, it is inspired by classic 20th-century typefaces like Futura, Gill Sans, and Avenir. It fuses their aura with contemporary elements, like a unique harmonisation of width and height. You can see this in the lowercase letters especially and it helps support the fonts’ legibility. The regular weights in the family are optimised for body text.

LOGX-20 is a geometric, all-caps display typeface. This is the brother of the LOGX-10 font. It obviously refers to the previous one, but considering the construction it is a different typeface. LOGX-20 is designed to create elements of visual identification, various creative projects and outstanding graphics. It looks great in arrangements with different text sizes, headers, sentences and longer texts. Both on websites, print or applications.

Buddy Slender is the narrower version of the companion sans for Contenu, the book font family designed for a book on book family design called Practical Font Design. It's a loose, free, easy to read sans, so when my wife suggested Buddy, it clicked. This is the 2-font Buddy Slender family of Regular & Bold. I made a new more limited feature set for these fonts due to their designed usage.
