Stettinum Nicodemus Pro is a project to revitalize lettering from tenement houses in Szczecin. The project includes the digitization of letter remains from ul. Kaszubska in Szczecin to form functional fonts. The main idea of the project was to preserve the disappearing remnants of Szczecin's typographic past, which, despite the span of glyphs limited by time, can be an inspiration for many future extensions of the already established family. Stettinum Nicodemus Pro Sansum is a family of typefaces consisting of 7 variations. The block structure with a regular structure and a relatively high minuscule allows for many different applications. Versions 700, 800 and 900 are intended for titles, headings and emphasis, typefaces 300 to 600 are text typefaces.

My Dizzy Edge font is really not that dizzy! Actually it's quite steady and legible - super good for packaging, greeting cards and perhaps even commercials for toys, candy, t-shirts, movieposters...yep, that list is long! What's more interesting is that the font as got 6 different versions of each letter - at first glance, the letters don't vary that much, but a closer look reveals the sometimes grungy outline of a pen! Brass Rail JNL is a novelty font, with its name derived from two key components of the source material. It was modeled from examples of vintage small letters stamped out of brass with "rails" above and below each character to fit within a slot. The most likely use of these letters would have been for either decorative initials or small merchandising signs (similar examples of both have been seen in the past). From these few examples comes a typeface with numerals, punctuation and an extended character set.

I am shocked to my very core that the name "Tropical Punch" hasn't been used for a font yet. What a delight, that my very first name choice is available, and I can grow my collection of fonts named after delicious food and drink! The letterforms of Lucien Bernhard's stylish, if somewhat anorexic, Bernhard Fashion were beefed up and complemented with thick-and-thin stroke variation to create this elegant family, available in normal and bold weights. Additionally, Bernhard's variant forms have replaced several of the letters which commonly appear in other revivals. The Postscript and Truetype versions contain a complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252); in addition, the Opentype version supports Unicode 1250 (Central European) languages as well.

Bob Alonso’s Aftershock was designed to resemble woodcut or linocut lettering; its irregular shapes make it stand out from its background. Dominant features of this typeface are its generally square forms and its emphasized horizontal strokes. The strong, heavy alphabet makes an overall regular impression in spite of the idiosyncracies of its individual characters. To emphasize the unique contours of the forms, it is best to use Aftershock in larger point sizes and exclusively in headlines.

Onyon is a bizarre typeface with vertical stems that thicken in the middle and narrow at the ends. It was created as an experiment to see what a typeface would look like if the vertical stems were diamond or rhombus shaped. The letters are angular with unusual triangular serifs and they have no curves. It is a harsh, cruel typeface that will make your eyes water if you use it at small point sizes for text.

Pescadero Pro is named for the valley in California's rugged central coast. Early Spanish settlers called the area Pescadero (fishing place) as they observed it was a favorite fishing spot for the local natives. Designed by Steve Matteson, Pescadero is delicate and detailed for attractive documents but robust enough for serious reports and titles. The design is based heavily on calligraphic inscriptional lettering. Pescadero Pro's OpenType features include proportional figures, tabular figures, old style figures and initial swash caps.

Early 1900s songwriters had a penchant for devising lengthy titles for their compositions. A perfect example from 1909, "It Is Hard to Kiss Your Sweetheart When the Last Kiss Means 'Good Bye'" is a whopping fourteen words long. As a successor of Didots famous font, which marked the beginning of modern typography, the Monceau has inherited the spirit, elegance and sophistication of french style, although in a revamped design, typical for the first years of the 21st century. Liberated from its serifs and with soft and round small letters the Monceau approaches ornamental typography and thus perfectly lends itself to being enlarged: it’s a font that loves to be closely looked at. The idea for Terra Ignota came to me years ago as I was admiring a reproduction of "Amerique Septentrionale," a 1650 map by French cartographer Nicolas Sanson, given to me by my parents. The handlettering has a sort of rakish character, evocative of pirates or adventurers at a time of unbridled world exploration. I ended up putting the project aside, but the idea to create this font tugged gently at my mind until I simply couldn't ignore it any longer. The resulting typeface has an italic slant and a deliberate feel, in keeping with its historical roots. Useful for simulating old hand-lettered documents. Has a full character set (and then some).
