Limousine JNL takes the basic outline shape of Crestview Six JNL (an actual design from the Art Deco era) and gives it a stylized treatment as a solid black letter display face.

Striptease JNL is the bold, brash, "your-name-in-lights" companion to Showgirl JNL, and was inspired by a scene in an old television show depicting a burlesque house of the 1930s.

The type design for Impecunious JNL comes from the 1939 sheet music for "You Don't Know How Much You Can Suffer (Until You Fall in Love)". The name comes from another piece of sheet music, 1899's "Impecunious Davis" [a piece of late 19th century tripe demeaning Black Americans]. However, the word "impecunious" was intriguing. According to the website Merriam-Webster.com, the simple definition of impecunious means "having little or no money". Since we've all been in that spot at one time or another, it became a perfect font name. Impecunious JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Some time ago, my son asked me to name all Seven Seas. I had to think for a bit, because I can think of more than 7 seas (the North Sea, the Caspian Sea, the South China Sea, the Sea Of Okhotsk, etc.), but apparently these are not part of the BIG Seven. It turns out that even oceans count as ‘seas’. Long story short, I created a font, had to think of my son’s question and named the font Seven Seas. Seven Seas is a hand made serif that comes with swashed alternatives for a lot of glyphs.

A contemporary sans serif design, Arial contains more humanist characteristics than many of its predecessors and as such is more in tune with the mood of the last decades of the twentieth century. The overall treatment of curves is softer and fuller than in most industrial-style sans serif faces. Terminal strokes are cut on the diagonal which helps to give the face a less mechanical appearance. Arial is an extremely versatile family of typefaces which can be used with equal success for text setting in reports, presentations, magazines etc, and for display use in newspapers, advertising and promotions.

The 2nd installment of the Enchanted Land family takes us on another medieval adventure, opting to completely rebuild instead of refining the legacy script. More emphasis was put into the undulating nature of the Uppercase characters and how they keep your eyes flowing. For this reason, straight lines and right angles are rarely used in favor of flamboyant terminals and wispy swashes. Lowercase characters, by contrast, adhere to a consistent model defined by its straightened edges and sharp corners. This script flirts with several old world styles but seeks only to borrow elements rather than completely emulate them. German Blackletter, Old English, Uncial, Victorian, it’s in there! Enchanted Land DS would work well in a book, video game, or medieval signage. This family is equipped with Basic Latin, Extended Latin, ligatures, punctuation, a few alternates, and kerning.

Probably everyone living in Europe has heard of the (in)famous Route Du Soleil. The Route Du Soleil (Motorway Of The Sun) is a stretch of road from Paris to Lyon (in the south). It is THE route holiday makers take to reach southern France, so they can get there before everyone else does. The result: endless traffic jams, overheated engines and people and more toxic exhaust fumes than your average petroleum distillery. Route Du Soleil is also a very nice hand written font that comes with swashes and ligatures. If you happen to find yourself in a traffic jam on your way to southern France, then I hope you have downloaded this font. Just one look at it and you’ll forget your problems! ;-)

Paragon is a display Roman family of nine faces, combining elements of formality and fun. It embodies a high degree of contrast between near hairline horizontal strokes and bold vertical strokes. Corvone is a heavy bullnosed display family, inspired by the post war era's ideas of modernity. Matthew Carter designed the Shelley family 1972 for Mergenthaler Linotype to be used as a new script face for the photo typesetting machines. The basic idea was to create one script face that would offer dfferent elegant letterforms. Matthew designed Shelley in three different versions, Allegro which is in the style of Kuenstler Schreibschrift, Andante where the caps are less flowrish and wide and Volante where the letters have its most expressive and wide forms and the lowercase z in this font is in the french anglian double stacked form. All three versions can be easily mixed to give the text a more individual calligraphic look Besides Shelley Linotype Zapfino from Hermann Zapf shows similar basics, but in a totally different letterform. In Linotype Zapfino the individual lowercase letters from the four different versions have different letterforms which gives the text an even more individual touch.

The hand-lettered signage of 1920s and 1930s America produced many typographic jewels that digital type has yet to manifest. This face is but one of them. Unearthed by Alfredo Graziani and Alejandro Paul from a 1923 Speedball lettering manual, Milk Script is a distinctive upright script that offers well-nourished majuscules and sweet-flowing minuscules. A non-connecting variation of this versatile display script is also offered for additional aesthetic control.

The name of this font is KOONS, which is inspired by an artist we respect very much. The font style is optimistic and positive, with pop art features. The lines of the font are highly geometric, preserving the original combination of strokes. In terms of details, on the basis of sans serif fonts, it is equipped with detailed and fun serif details. All treatments are done to ensure that this typeface remains highly recognizable, but also has attractive details and taste.

Welcome to Sacremende, a chunky, slightly messy display font. As the name implies, this font was inspired by the retro California aesthetic and, in particular, old surf rock posters. To highlight the vintage feel, the font package comes with a distressed option for a well-worn effect. This font is all caps but includes unique styles for upper and lowercase letters. Both versions are available as webfonts but for better performance, I would recommend using the regular option for the web.

Burlington was designed by Alan Meeks in 1985 and is a decorative typeface in the neoclassical style of the middle of the 19th century. Characteristic of faces from this time is the low x-height, which makes the font look as though it is reaching upward. This combined with the white areas in the strokes give Burlington a light, airy feel. The elegant Burlington is particularly good for headlines and can also be used for short texts in point sizes of 12 or larger.

“I originally drew the primary characters with a felt tip marker, scanned them and then proceeded to noodle on the computer,” says George Ryan of his new typeface, Koorkin. “Over the years, I’ve designed many original typefaces, but Koorkin has become one of my favorites. Mapuche means ‘man of the land’ and it is also the name of a group of indigenous inhabitants in South America. During the southern Winter solstice, between June 21 and June 24, the We Tripantu, the Mapuche New Year fest, takes place with a magical rite in the middle of the nature. Indigena is a dingbat font that remakes the artistic expression of the Mapuche people in Chile, recovering the handmade stroke they used in textiles and ceramics, but with a fresh look. This dingbat is based on pre-Columbian iconographic drawings shown in the book Dibujos Indígenas de Chile (1929) by chilean art teacher Abel Gutiérrez.

SK Shpala is a modern geometric display typeface inspired by the aesthetics of railways. The typeface is built on a system that includes a combination of wide lines and thin gaps, which creates a unique character pattern. The name of the typeface refers to the railway tie for a reason, as the text typed in this typeface really resembles the railway tracks from above. The typeface is multilingual and supports many languages of both Latin and Cyrillic. This font has 2 styles in one keyboard layout! There is a solid style, and an outline style. The capital letters match the small-case. The capitals are all solid letters, while the small-case are the same, but an outline version. Same with your numbers, there is 2 styles (Outlined hollow numbers, or press shift and a number to get it's matching solid version). Common punctuation marks, brackets, etc., are included too, in both styles (There's even a hexagonal euro and dollar sign). To make these characters easier to find, repeats are spread throughout your alternate keys. The two styles can be used together, nicely complimenting each other. Hive Mind is NOT appropriate for important business presentations, lengthy novels, or anything you want to be an easy read. Use this font anywhere you want to create a funky look or need to be cryptic... Have fun with it!

This cool techno font is easily recognizable with its quite unique stroke endings. I have increased the ascenders and descenders slightly (so they would work better with the new diacritic letters) and introduced a few alternate letterforms in addition to generally expanding the character set. A totally enjoyable reworking of an original design. Now also with a Bold and a brand new Light variant! The old fonts were all designed with clogging corners or points that can break off in the minds of its designers. Today we do not have those problems any longer, so I could give my Copperplate Classic real sharp pointed serifs. ITC Coconino is the work of Serbian designer Slobodan Miladinov. His original inspiration for this monostroked typeface was the idea of translating certain auditory impressions into type, in this case, the surprising and confusing music of the Serbian hip hop musician Voodoo Popeye." Miladinov is an art director in Belgrade and created Coconino using a "freemouse" technique with Adobe Illustrator and sees his work as "computer calligraphy which allows for a specific directness and immediacy in notation." The strokes of this font are simple and abrupt with a studied irregularity. The forms can look either cheerful and lighthearted or chaotic and subtly disturbing. Coconino was named for the home of hte Krazy KAt comics and even includes a few additional characters from the strip."

Motorix is a typeface of alternatives. A versatile and highly flavorful constructivist design in three weights with corresponding italics, and hundreds of variant forms. Pliego is a textface designed to offer a comfortable continuous reading, with humanist proportions, an even texture, and informal calligraphic details noticeable only at big sizes, that gives it a contemporary feeling. Pliego has been named after Pliegos de Cordel, the Spanish word for the popular books that were common during the XVI, XVII and XVIII centuries. These were rough, cheap books that basically consisted in a folded sheet attached to a string, hence the name. Their content was varied, from popular tales to ballads and songs, but also crimes and mysteries. They were cheaply made, roughly printed and bound. The name Pliego evokes the idea of a rough look, angular edges, informal taste, but classical look. To cover today’s needs, Pliego includes five weights with matching italics. Designed and engineered for continuous reading, the Book, Regular and Medium weights will perform at their best under 14 points. However, don’t be scared to use for headlines and titles: because of its quirky details and calligraphic flavour, Pliego’s personality is accentuated when enlarged. Derived from the world famous Rennie Mackintosh Font, the Moonlight version gives a hollowed effect with a drop shadow to the Classic Rennie Mackintosh lettering. The "Moonlight" name comes from one of Mackintosh's less well known watercolour paintings - The Harvest Moon (1892).
