He was a hard-working man, raising a family during the Depression, yet was still fun-loving, kind, and generous. We called him Grandhappy. As a wedding present, I received from him rolling pins and a cutting board made of 8 different kinds of wood that he pieced together. In this font, the bullet is a rolling pin in honor of that! Other than the fact that this is a font from the hand of one greatly loved, my favorite thing is that although a True Type Font, it has some features of an Open Type font. What can I say? I like fonts with stars. Space Time is a hand drawn font with a lot of variety. I started designing the regular version with the characters slightly touching but it wasn't quite what I had in my head. I’d imagined tightly spaced letters with overlapping shadows and the only way to get that effect was to create a second version with stackable layers. That means this download includes regular, base, outline, shadow, and stars files. Plus, the base and outline can be used for stacking or work fine as standalone fonts. This font is all caps but the lowercase letters feature alternative styles.

Welcome Amica Pro, a workhorse sans designed to give your branding a friendly, approachable look. What is it that makes a typeface friendly? Eclectotype undertook extensive research* in this and the results are in! To cut a long story short, friendliness in sans serif fonts can be summed up in two words – short and fat. Basically, think Danny DeVito in letter form. The shortness in Amica Pro is achieved (somewhat counterintuitively) by pushing up the x-height. This, coupled with short ascenders and descenders, gives the text a squat appearance. For the fatness, that's easy in the bolder weights, but how to carry this through to the lights? Here, the fatness equates to roundness, so the letterforms, even if the stroke weight is light, have a rotund appearance from the wideness and roundness of the circular glyphs. When thinking about friendliness, we think about inclusiveness. To this end, Amica Pro supports a super wide range of latin-based languages, as it uses Underware's Latin Plus character set, as well as extra support for Vietnamese. The Camunic language is an extinct language that was spoken in the 1st millennium BC in the Valcamonica and the Valtellina in Northern Italy, both in the Central Alps. The writing system used is a variant of the north-Etruscan alphabet, known as the Camunian alphabet or alphabet of Sondrio. Longer inscriptions show that Camunic writing used boustrophedon. Its name derives from the people of the Camunni, who lived during the Iron Age in Valcamonica and were the creators of many of the stone carvings in the area. Abecedariums found in Nadro and Piancogno have been dated to between 500 BC and 50 AD. The amount of material is insufficient to fully decipher the language. Written with a blunt graphite pen, PiS Coalfield features a scruffy scribbled look, loosely inspired by the expressive handwriting on various posters by Sister Corita Kent, an influential pop artist experimenting with serigraphs in the '60s. There is one set of regular and 4 sets of alternate glyphs for each basic letter programmed to cycle through automatically with the contextual alternate feature (which makes 5 possible versions of each letter). You can also hand-pick the 4 alternate sets if you prefer that of course! A super-lively handwritten look is guaranteed, readability is given in display but also in smaller sizes too! Use it for your organic tofu brand, children’s books or that hip sweet coffee shop around the corner!

Spotlight was created by British designer Tony Geddes in the tradition of the bold serif fonts of early 19th century England. It too is a robust alphabet exhibiting extreme stroke contrasts, however, Geddes gave his font a more relaxed feel by not filling in the strokes completely. Long white rays break up the otherwise dark black strokes, following the form of the outer contours and giving the figures a three dimensional look. Spotlight is also reminiscent of the decorative advertisements of the 1930s and of the glamorous revues and shows of this time. Spotlight is perfect for headlines and display in larger point sizes.

Inspired by an old Russian book about Moscow’s plan to take over the world, this font was designed to give digital prints the taste of hand lettering. It’s vivid outlines and slight differences in boldness between characters give it an accurate and realistic imperfect letterpress look. It works amazingly well as a text font in small sizes and shows it’s crippled outlines only at larger sizes. »CA Moskow has a plan« has got an extensive character-set including Russian Cyrillic, the Russian Rubel and the Turkish Lira sign. Although it includes kerning, for a full simulation of letterpress print and cold-war feeling we recommend to turn it off.

NovaSans is a modern geometric sans-serif font which captures the spirit of Bossa Nova, a noble Brazilian music style. Music and typography presents several things in commom, so the idea behind the font is show some of bossa nova’s characteristics, like melody, cadence, softness, metric, simplicity, waves, subtleties. Some gaps in representing the source of irregular alignment scores. NovaSans also was selected for Tipos Latinos Bienal, in the Display faces category. NovaSans was built with a modular system. Its whole set offers almost 280 glyphs with alternates, dingbats and ornaments. Conceived to be used as a display typeface, NovaSans is recommended for use at large sizes.

Lunga is a wonderful condensed font. It was designed to be a legible type. It has lots of decorative glyphs and ligatures which were possible thanks to the open-type format! Lunga Real Ligada is the most complete style. The Open Type format contains all the ligatures and alternates. It also contains the SMALLCAPS function. Lunga Exacta has the right quantity of glyphs. The necessary ones if you are not a ligature lover. Lunga Versalita is a SMALLCAPS font. These glyphs are also contained in Lunga Real Ligada. Lunga Extras shows some ligatures and alternates which are actually contained in Lunga Real Ligada thanks to the Open Type format.

Draughtwork is a special decorative font designed to have the look of a work in progress, showing the process of constructing letters using a ruler and a compass on a grid. It's in the tradition of our very popular Roughwork font, but more detailed and with additional features. Unlike Roughwork, Draughtwork includes a full upper and lower case character set plus some special alternate character variants. Developing Draughtwork was a monstrous task. The complexity of the 9x9 grids with each character were a challenge to the rendering capacity of Fontographer and required an extraordinary amount of fine tuning - but the result was worth the effort.

Intouch is a cool, and display font that has a cool and funny, street art vibe. A playful all-caps Display font that includes four versions font of each letter which can be used separately or on top of each other to achieve a different look.
