HWT Brylski is a typeface by Nick Sherman, named for retired wood type cutter Norb Brylski and designed to be cut as wood type at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum. This font is the digital counterpart to the wood type made as part of the Hamilton Legacy Project . It incorporates several themes that were common in 19th-century type design, including split tuscan serifs with angled mansard-style sides, heavy weight placement at the top and bottom of letters (traditionally referred to as French or Italian/Italienne, regardless of any actual relation to those countries), and an extended overall width. Lady Marmalade is a hand drawn script font, with a sketchy style, that makes it perfect for lettering prints. Camille was designed with exaggerated emphasis on letter vertical characteristic, by virtually eliminating the typical Arabic horizontal line look. This font glyph weights and look and feel are heavily influenced by early Kufic Quranic calligraphy style. Camille supports all Arabetic scripts covered by Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks, including support for Quranic texts. This font family includes two letter spacing flavors: isolated for small text and overlapped for large or display text. The two spacing flavors have one weight each with a normal and a left-slanted Italic version. History, as it's said, tends to repeat itself. The round-point pen lettering used in the 1920s logo and ads for Dodge Brothers cars (pre-General Motors) is an early predecessor to the techno type styles of the 1980s. Square in shape, with unique stylization to some letters, Jalopy JNL can cross the decades and be used for a 1920s period piece and still look fresh in an ad for computer parts. Rather than round out the inside lines of the characters to fully emulate the strokes of a lettering pen, the inside lines have straight intersections for the contemporary side of this font's design.

Shallot is a serif font family with sharp and exquisite characteristic. The initial letterforms are made not completely based on calligraphic strokes, which make it more likely close to transitional serif style. The letterforms have high contrast strokes and sharp serif with curved brackets. The upright styles have a fairly wide proportion. The italic styles have 12 degree angle and redrawn lowercase letters. Shallot consist of 4 styles from regular to extrabold with each matching italics. It contains 462 glyphs that support broad latin languages.

We've all seen the informational markings on commercial driveways or roadways instructing us which way to turn, where to park, etc. They are usually in stencil lettering 16 inches or taller, with compressed letters that make the horizontal strokes look slightly thicker than the vertical ones. By condensing the lettering in Narrow Stencil JNL by 20 percent, the result is Driveway Stencil JNL - a digital emulation of those painted road markings.

This handy font allows designers of commercial products to add basic circled letters that are uniform in appearance. For example, on music CDs, the Copyright and Publish (AKA Phonogram) symbols often do not match. While most fonts include a circled 'c' for Copyright, they seldom contain a circle 'p' for Publish (note that all P22 fonts include the circle 'p' and 'c'). The circle 'U' and 'K' for Kosher foods are rarely included in fonts and have to be made as needed. This single font contains both a serif and sans serif style caps A-Z as well as figures assigned to regular keys and also mapped to standard Unicode for "Enclosed Alphanumerics".

Newgrange is a distinctive Celtic-style font designed as a companion to our Stonecross font. It has the same size and weight as Stonecross and the same carved/chipped style, but rather than being based on traditional insular minuscule letter forms, it's based on a squared uncial style similar to our Lindisfarne font. The result is unusual and rather more modern looking than we expected, but it's great for stylized titles. The name comes from the giant prehistoric stone tomb at Newgrange which some have called Ireland's answer to Stonehenge.

With its slightly rough edges, Thumbnail Text works well where lettering is required. Letterforms wiggle a bit here and there but are generally quite uniform. Characters are a bit imprecise - but not showy or bouncy. They appear more adult-looking than childish and are very legible. Put Thumbnail Text to work as drafting notation or on blueprint projects that need to be easily read. It¹s also useful when concept or sketch stage lettering needs to look serious but not highly stylized. You might experiment with it inside cartoon thought balloons or in callouts. This design is based on an old showcard style from the 1940s. It's been dusted off and reissued for modern use. A lowercase has been added for greater functionality. Thumbnail Text Regular is now available in the OpenType Std format. Some additional characters have been added to this OpenType version as stylistic alternates. Penitentiary Gothic is a digital recreation of the letters used on California state license plates, designed in order to make props for movies and television shows. The regular style is meant to be used on its own, but the other four styles are meant to be used one on top of another in different colors to create an embossed 3D effect. For best results, use the fill style in a dark color on top of a light colored background. Put the lolite style directly on top of the fill style in 10 - 30% of the background color. Put the hilite style directly on top of that in 10 - 30% of your fill color. Put the shadow style directly on top of that using your background color plus 50 - 80% black.

Bold, rounded and super cool. Those are the attributes of my latest font “Vinyle”, french for vinyl. In this epoque where all fields of Design are giving a lot of importance and attention to Typography and Lettering, I felt it was my duty to contribute with something that could really stand alone and ‘say something else’ that just words to be read. I've found that lately in the world, regarding a finished piece of design, the role of Typography (and of letters in general) went from being secondary, (like a minor player or a supporting actor) to the most important one. People are starting to understand the beauty of a well-done letter: they want their storefronts with unique scripts, they want to drink coffee surrounded by lettered blackboards, they want to buy books with astonishing covers with swashes ‘por doquier’. I'm more than happy to be alive in a present where even the most unimaginable friends of mine, (who couldn't spot differences between comic sans and helvetica before) are now conscious of the importance of a letter, or let’s say: Of the ‘voice’ of Typography. With Vinyle I tried to make a font with power. Following the nowadays trend of, let me say, “the vintage sans renaissance”. This time I put my brushes and nibs aside and experimented with something new. It wasn't easy, if you will pardon, for me to see swashes all over the place withouth the classic calligraphic ‘thick and thins’, but with after some weeks of work I started to love them. Like I already showed you in other creations (1) let me finish with the phrase: GEOMETRY IS SEXY! TIPS Vinyle has a lot of attitude, it shouts “here I am!” it really can ‘design an entire piece’ for you with just a word or two: It was designed with a 10 degree slant on purpose so the user may rotate it (like on the posters) that amount of degrees in order to see better results.
