Valor is a display face inspired by uncial forms seen through a modern roman lens. This typeface was inspired by Gering and Remboldt's work during the late 1490s. HGB Memento was designed to replace 12 bronze plaques with the names of those who died in World War I. The 12 plaques were stolen in 2016. Stone tablets were made on which the original writing was engraved using sandblasting. Memento is therefore suitable for commemorative plaques and for texts of a sacred nature.
