Raljon is a display typeface created by designer and lettering artist Mark Robinson. It is a collaboration between the Mmarkk and Teen-Beat Graphica visual design studios. This single font was created over a period of five years. Mark took great care in finessing each character and making sure that each character would stand on its own and yet simultaneously, be an integral part of the whole. The typeface is inspired by Gothic letterforms, horror novels, speed metal bands of the 1980s, techno and electronic music of the 1990s, and Washington, DC football teams whose stadiums lie in the Maryland suburbs. While it doesn’t have multiple weights, Raljon does have a deep depth and breadth. It has a seemingly endless amount of alternate characters and ligatures. There are nine letter Ms, eight letter As and Fs, seven Rs and Ts, and the list goes on. Even the figures have alternates.

BC Away is a display typeface. It has emerged from the idea of drawing letterforms with a single-line path. Thanks to this idea, the characters are designed out of standard and conventional forms. Character designs are a combination of sharp corners and smooth curves, at the same time keeping readability. Some parts have been left blank in accordance with the letter forms. The name 'Away' represents these blanks. Also, the word 'a way' refers to the design of letterforms using a single-way.

A Bitstream version of News Gothic that was created by Morris Fuller Benton for American Typefounders and first appeared in 1908. There is the standard American sanserif of the first two thirds of the twentieth century with narrow proportions and a large x-height. Despite, or perhaps because of, the font’s unconventional relationships in proportion and form, News Gothic has long been a popular typeface for almost any use. Cyrillic version developed for ParaType in 2005 by Dmitry Kirsanov. Greek extension designed by Dmitry Kirsanov in 2009.

In its heyday, the Starlight Room of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City quite frequently printed lunch and dinner menus for not only their rotating bill of fare, but also for special events held there. The 1937 Electrolux (Eastern) Appreciation Banquet has its own menu cover, and the lettering was in a simple, yet Art-Deco influenced condensed block design with squared features. This simple and quirky typeface has been digitally redrawn as Sales Convention JNL, and is available in both regular and oblique versions.

I have seen my share of badly stuffed animals. Most of them via pictures, but also on vacations here and there. They all had this really bad handcraft vibe, but at the same time some really ordinary and kind of cute looks. I did my best to capture this look and feeling in my Badly Stuffed Animal font: clumsy letters made with a blobbly pen, with naive and irregular lines - and the conclusion is something super useful for a project that needs an organic handmade look!

Ever wonder what language looks like? This type decided to dive into this idea... how audible and visual forms play with each other. So often as a designer I have wanted a handwriting font that is modern, natural and realistic, simple and attractive. I created this font to meet my own need. Teacher's Pet makes full use of the knowledge I have acquired over the years designing school handwriting fonts. It contains many contextual alternates to ensure that the flow of writing is as unartificial as possible. I have been disciplined in its creation, always making and coding a new glyph to ensure this flow rather than compromising.

The inspiration source for Triangulus Monogram is a vintage publication called “Bibliotheque D.M.C: Alphabets et Monogrammes 2nd Series”. Found in that specimen book, is an alternative to the traditionally seen diamond monogram style. Faithful Fly is an alphabet of capital letters designed by David Sagorski in 1994. Vital and dynamic, the figures of Faithful Fly dance across the base line. Tapa is a classical old roman typeface family which has been cut with sharp serif; Its stems, proportions, serif and elegant angles, may induce into a new view of the "Old roman faces" by our contemporary digital age. Brush Script is a lively font with brush-written characteristics, designed by Robert E. Smith in 1942 for American Type Founders. Brush Script continues to be a favorite, despite competition from other similar typefaces of the period and more modern looking scripts digitized in recent years. Perhaps that's because Brush Script is peppy, informal, and unabashedly confident. The letterforms are casual, yet look as if they have been written quickly. Today, Brush Script is used for advertisements and sales materials, especially for luxury and consumer products.

A 1918 lettering instruction book by William Hugh Gordon presented a number of lettering styles that were geared toward sign and show card painters along with tips and tricks regarding the correct construction of such signs for maximum effect. One pen lettered Roman alphabet with a beautiful set of numerals has been recreated digitally as Pen Elegant JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions. To note, Gordon was the co-inventor of the Speedball lettering pen with Ross F. George in 1915.

I drew this font staying true to the original design. The letter table in the relevant book was taken as reference.
