The two font families, DemiTasse and Espresso, are designed to work together. Espresso is related to DemiTasse in that it is an italic font. They are both based on my own calligraphy and were used as such both separately and together.

SmokeHaus is a caps-only, reverse-contrast display typeface with flare serifs and bold, rounded letters. In addition to the plain style, the family has shadowed, cracked, and two rough or dimpled versions. It was inspired by a sign on a smoke house in Gustavus, Alaska. The SmokeHausShadowInside style was developed to be used in layers with SmokeHausShadow. It allows lettering with two colors. Also, SmokeHausCracked can be used in a layer above SmokeHaus.

ArgentaBobbed is an informal, "hand-printing" font with little balls that some people, often children, like to add to the ends of strokes. Maybe it could be called a ball-serif or dot-serif font. The family has six members. Each of the two weights, plain and bold, have oblique styles. There are also two variants: ArgentaBobbed-Wig is squiggly handwriting with the dots, and ArgentaBobbed-Squish is condensed handwriting with dots.

A while back I created a nice font called Harimau. It is a childish font, with a happy feel to it. Harimau had some unusual glyphs, most notably the 'g' and the 'j', which, for some designers, were a little too unusual. Therefore I have created a new font based on the old Harimau: it is similar, but comes with 'normal' glyphs.

Dime Store is a font inspired by childhood memories of dime stores in downtowns and shopping malls in the 1970s. The font was tweaked and digitized by Bob Alonso, who also digitized Breauhare’s Cooper Goodtime font. Dime Store is a cool, hip, nostalgic way of creating a decorative display, and at times it seems to have a slightly futuristic look, too.

Typography enters the Space Age! Dynascript brings the ease of “Pushbutton Automatic” to your typesetting experience. Dynascript is actually Two fonts in One–without switching fonts you can instantly change from Dynascript’s connecting font to the non-connecting italic with the simple push of a button. For more details download “The Dynascript Manual” from the Gallery Section. What is Dynascript? Dynascript is the slanted script cousin of Dynatype. It shares many of the characteristics of it’s sibling, but is drawn entirely from scratch and has it’s own unique character. To some it may be reminiscent of various mid-century neon signage, and of sign writing, Speedball alphabets and even baseball scripts. The design of Dynascript also takes some cues from a historical typographic curiosity that began in Germany in the ‘20s and which lasted into the ‘60s—when Photo-Lettering gave it the name "Zip-Top". Basically it was believed to be the wave of the future—that by weighting an alphabet heavier in its top half, one could increase legibility and reading speed. The jury’s still out on whether or not there’s any validity to this claim, but I think you’ll agree that in the context of this design, the heavier weighting at the top of the letters helps to create some uniquely pleasing forms, and a script unlike any other. VLNL Gaufre is a pixel-based font with holes designed by Donald Roos. Each character is built on a grid of doughnut-like elements, which makes it look like a kind of dried dog food, or Belgian waffles. Despite the grid Gaufre still has enough warmth due to the doughy, slightly rounded corners. And because it’s prepared with a hot waffle iron of course. The end result is a merry, chunky typeface that smells of doughnut. Use it for logos or headlines, just add butter and sugar or, better still, top it with whipped cream and cherries. Yummie!

Chameleon consists of 16 fonts based on 3 completely different designs. Different but specially designed to complement each other. Together they form a well-balanced design kit suitable for many different projects, e.g. invites, menus, magazines, brochures, packaging, etc. Chameleon comes in three styles: 2 outline versions and a basic (solid) version. To combine Chameleon with Chameleon Fill, you will need an application that allows you to stack text frames. Once you start layering different fills, like a true chameleon, you can change colors and patterns. Simply place several layers on top of each other, choose from 7 fills to determine your pattern and assign a color to the fill. Always place one of the outline versions of Chameleon on the top layer. Varietta is the result of my fascination with photographing the type designs of some marquees in Spanish markets. In them you can see many letter designs with reversed contrast and in different widths, probably based on the possibilities of photocomposition. At the same time I was working on the expansion of the Hastile typeface designed by Alessandro Butti for the Nebiolo foundry in Italy in the late 1930s, of which I had not seen any digitization. As I am not a fan of perfect revivals, I thought it could be interesting to connect Spain and Italy in a single typeface. The first step was to expand Butti's design to 27 styles, ranging from thin condensed to black expanded. To look for the Spanish connection and its characteristic inverse contrast I took advantage of the current technology that allows variable typefaces with many axes. From this, three scenarios of horizontal contrast were incorporated (top, bottom and mixed) which allows infinite possibilities of use. The final result is a collection of 108 static typefaces or a single variable file.

State Machine is a display typeface inspired by lettering applied to American and Russian Cold War-era military vehicles. It also features an alternate character set inspired by 1970s hand-made political banners. The name State Machine is a term found in both political theory and computer programming. The theoretical definition describes the political and bureaucratic organisation of a state as well as the repressive state apparatuses such as the military and police. Max Weber describes the state as "a human community that (successfully) claims the monopoly of the legitimate use of physical force within a given territory". In computer programming, a state machine is a mathematical model of computation used to design computer programs. It is conceived as an abstract machine that is in one of a finite number of states. It can change from one state to another when initiated by a triggering event or condition. Taken at a wider conceptual level, when these two definition are combined the meaning becomes analogous to a tool (such as a philosophical idea) with which to transform a society.

Mi Casa is a new condensed version of our Home Style font which is a revival of an old 1800's classic ornate French font. This new 2021 condensed version takes this old classic to an all new level by adding small caps, italics and a new black version. Mi Casa is perfect for headlines and logos from advertising to product labels, t-shirt lettering and restaurant menus. Fill fonts are also part of this family, new to this font style is the half fill font for creating a two color effect on the letters, you'll need an application that works in layers to use the fill fonts in Mi Casa. The regular fill font for Mi Casa isn't meant to be used as a stand alone font so we've created a solid black version with thicker serifs on top and adjusted outlines throughout for a better appearance as a solo font.
