Like traditional athletic block typefaces, Crafton is built with chiseled corners and a rigid skeleton. However, an underlying formula of fervor and functionality emerges in execution. The typeface features traditional block tendencies that are challenged by expressive angles and deviations in line weight that harken to penmanship. Uniquely tapered terminals seen in letters like a, c, and s demonstrate a strong visual energy while increasing legibility. The legs of angled letterforms like the A, v, and y are cropped in a way that further reinforces this motif.

Veteran designer Bo Berndal has created Pelegotic: "Pelegotic is a sansserif inspired by the Art Deco of the 20's and the Swedish functional style of the 30's. The slightly condensed design is an attempt to find a somewhat more elegant lettershape than the usually rather technical expression of monoline typefaces", says Bo Berndal. Pelegotic comes in three weights, with roman and italic in each weight. It is an OpenType creation, for both PC and Mac.

The concept of Biscotti rised from a personal research into a system of styles that we commonly consider “vintage”. One above all, the Victorian typography that has been rediscovered and widely re-studied during the 70s. Today, thanks to the technology innovation in digital typography fields, Biscotti is certainly an interesting subject which expresses an appassionate and nostalgic homage to a vintage font, seen from the perspective of a technical inspiration. Biscotti is composed of two styles: the “default” and the alternative one. The first is of course more conservative and formal, while the alternative formally chooses a change of the diagonal lines into curves, so it creates a much more friendlier reading. Biscotti consists of 4 styles that can be combined by layers in order to form different ways of reading. This renewed effect increases exponentially the potential use range of this typography. Biscotti has 517 characters; and are composed for 220 latin languages.

Facit is a contemporary sans serif text face. It is designed to be a highly legible and flexible font that does not draw the attention to itself. Instead of being original by itself it is the result of a careful examination of ancient as well as modern formal concepts. “It is by definition impossible to design an un-conventional typeface. Type is pure convention, this is why we can read each other’s written words”, says its designer Tim Ahrens. However, rather than generating an average, existing principles were consciously combined into a unique design solution: The word ‘Facit’, in its German version, means ‘conclusion’. The fonts are provided in OpenType format. Each font contains 720 glyphs. Technically, they follow the Adobe Pro fonts and provide the same glyph set and OpenType functionality. OpenType features include ligatures, true small capitals, superiors, inferiors, numerators and denominators. Several roads have been closed around my village, so I need to drive alongside narrow country roads ro get my groceries done. The roads are so narrow that two cars cannot pass, so you need to use the (muddy) kerbs. A lot of cars these days have Xenon lights and they shine really bright and blue. I am non xenon-phobic, but I can tell you that the ‘old’ yellowish headlight were softer on the eyes, especially when you’re trying to navigate narrow country roads! Yes, I know, a long story leading nowhere, but a little personal story (in my opinion) is better than a boring text full of technical bla bla. A font is a font after all and I don’t need to explain what it looks like, because you can see that for yourself! Headlight Blue is a handmade, all caps display font. It comes with all the trimmings, including two sets of alternates that cycle as you type.

HS Albadr is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for book titles and graphic projects where a contemporary, geometrical and streamlined look is desired. The font is based on the simple lines of modern and simplified Kufi calligraphy that support Arabic, Persian and Urdu. Afrik is a hand painted font which letterforms were inspired by Proto-Saharan Ancient African writing system and scripts for African languages such as Mande and Vai. Drawing technique I took from Ethiopian Tribe Karo body painting. I drew each letter with my finger using self-made paint from crushed charcoal. Afrik is uppercase font and instead of tall capital letters uses wide. They can be used instead of double letters or just to diversify a typing. Also, I included up to 4 alternate "decorations" for most of the letters which will help you to create unique artwork (use "Contextual Alternates" feature to randomize look automatically). Bohy was a candidate when it was felt there was a need for a "house font" to start a design service. Its readability can be relied on to clearly display the most creative or obscured names, yet the adherence to a chosen system of construction to achieve this consistency also make the Bohy characters stubbornly distinguishable from most other font sets if you were to group it under geometric, or technical typeface, or some other categories it should belong (it is considered more constructivist, not humanist, etc...).
