A biography/story of each homeless person captures their story, to help raise awareness and bring some dignity to the life of homeless people. Salvador was born in a small village in the province of Seville, Spain where he lived until 2002. There he worked in hotels and in construction, until the economic crisis erupted and he was left without work or benefits of any kind and he began to live in the street: “The street has few good things, but it teaches you to be more selfless, to share with others what you have, even if it isn’t much.” In 2006, a friend encouraged him to come along to Barcelona and bought his plane ticket. Once there, things did not go much better and he had to continue living in the street. A year ago he left behind that life and now he explains his experience in guided tours to school groups: “I like it because I see that many of them are interested and they ask questions. Lianhua is a handwritten font with a soft touch, given by a Chinese ink brush. There are lots of Chinese western fonts having a strong, sharp visual feeling, like the strokes of Chinese characters, so I decide to do the opposite: soft. Because except for Yang, there is also Yin in Chinese culture. The name 'Lianhua' means lotus in Chinese. This font is flexible and widely-used, it's suited for book titles, posters, brochures, flyers, even for menus of a Chinese restaurant. The total glyphs in this font is 351, including basic Latin letters and symbols, Latin-Expand A, 10 ligatures and 2 alternate letters, which are the letter g and letter y.

Producing the shaded strokes in reversed positions such as this required holding the pen in a position horizontal to the baseline, or the letterforms would have to be written backwards or by rotating the paper at peculiar and extreme angles to achieve the effect. Is it necessary to tell the Gutenberg story? 1456 Gutenberg Pro is the second Gutenberg typeface produced by GLC foundry (look at our 1456 Gutenberg). This font was created from the so called "B42" character set used for the two Gutenberg Latin Bibles (42 and 36 lines), but with a better and finer design than in our first version, more faithful to the finest original printed books appearance. We offer also now a larger choice of the original ligatures and Latin abbreviations, as complete as possible to be usable with OTF specifications. The complete basic alphabet (with "long s" naturally)is strictly looking like the real one (including the curious twisted "X"). We have only recreated the capitals W and J, who was not existing in the time. The numerals, no more existing in the original type set, were inspired from those in use a few years later by early following printers, but matching with the Gutenberg font's pattern. The font includes West (including Celtic), East, Central European, Baltic and Turkish glyphs.
