Graigway is an art deco styled display font face in sans and serif. It has small caps and ‘halfcap’ alternatives included. There is an outline version with separate fillings for multilayering and color fonts with the layer-combination.

Based on a functional and condensed sans serif, Mensrea equally includes a large range of complimentary weights that can either be used as stand alone styles or then combined with other weights to create layered design. Two Graffiti styles add a further style contrast with a handwritten and fluid dynamic to contrast the main weights, the Bubble style equally features three extra layers for styling. Madromit(ma-do-ro-mi) is a somewhat nostalgic display font. Do you remember computer advertisements in the 80s and 90s? Yes, it is the most excited period in the history of computer. We call the design in this period Primitive Digital Design. Madromit is, so to speak, the revival or reconstruction of the primitive digital type in the period. The structure and elements of this font are very simple and the key features are geometric shape and simple griddy design with rounded corners, oval bowls, and right‐angled joints which we used to see in the primitive period. In addition to this, Madromit has one more characteristic feature — classic engraving font —. It is called Open Style. Open style is one of the classic method to decorate and emphasize the font. Ana is a chromatic typeface consisting of 26 uppercase Latin characters, inspired by arabesque patterns from the nineteenth century. Programmed to enable users to easily create multicolored drop caps and initials, this decorative display typeface features a different ornament for every letterform, which fits perfectly with its glyph shape. This ornament is usually more luxurious on the left side of the letter, while on the right it is scarce, so that the body text can be placed close to the initial. These initials are valuable for use in large sizes, like posters, magazines, packaging design, fairy tales, and so on. The final forms of the initials consist of 5 parts which can be individually colored. There are 5 font files named Ana Layer A, Ana Layer B, and so on. A font user can manually create a multicolored initial with these font files, if there is no possibility to use the Contextual Alternates option. To do that, it is necessary to make 5 layers in the page layout software. Then, the corresponding character should be placed on each layer, so that Ana Layer A is on the lowest layer and Ana Layer E is on the highest one. Note that the glyph shapes are contained in the lower case positions. In contrast, the font file named Ana is programmed, so it is possible to create a multicolored initial with the Contextual Alternates command. There is no need for additional layers, everything happens on a single layer. First, the Contextual Alternates command (usually under OpenType menu) should be disabled. Then, using lower case key, type the desired character 5 times and apply color to them. Select them all and turn on the Contextual Alternates. Also, the font file Ana comes with a set of ‘black’ initials that can be used just like any other non-color typeface. The ornamental versions are contained in the uppercase positions, while the letters without the ornaments are in the lower case. With the font file Ana Monochrome one can only get the monochrome initials. Ornamental letters are contained in the upper case positions, while the letterforms without the ornaments are in the lower case.

Letuncial is a sans-serif typeface in which the shapes of the letters are derived from uncial, a writing style in the early medieval period. Like uncial, it has no true upper-case letters. Rather it has two sets of letters that are interchangeable. Fonts Letunical Inline Overlay-Middle and Letunical Inline Overlay Inside are designed to be layered with Letunical Inline to produce bicolored or tricolored letters and Letunical Shadow Inside is designed to layered with Letunical Shadow to produce bicolored letters.

Burford is a font family that I sketched while traveling through Europe. I was mesmerized by all the unique typography that was showcased throughout the five countries I visited. Inspired by all that I had seen, I found myself spending 4-5 hours per day in Amsterdam’s Vondel Park drawing characters. Once back in the states I digitalized Burford, deciding it would make for a beautiful layer-based font. FWD Egyptian Tower is a designers stack-able Display family best purchased as one package. The four versions can be manipulated in your favorite graphics or sign making application to achieve the different effects as shown in the font family ad designs. All fonts are tightly spaced and are very often intentionally overlapped creating a balance for each very unique wider bottomed character. Being stack-able, the designer can duplicate the original text layer and by changing the font on the lower of the two layers to another of the family can then add another available effect. This can be repeated to add other of the available effects. Then by converting the text of the lower text layers to curves or outlines and welding the characters of the words together, the overlaps can be eliminated. This process is fairly common practice for a graphic designer and quite easy once done a few times.

Rebnick is a sans serif typeface where in the early design process, the adjacent stems and bars weren’t weld seamlessly and perfectly. You can actually find glitches which were carefully transformed into a custom language in it’s own and later became the coherent generic rule that keeps everything together. In display sizes, the ink traps give the font’s own character, while in small text sizes they create a good legibility and a well-balanced ratio between the black and white spaces.
