Madison Antiqua was original released as a metal typeface for hand-setting in 1965. The letters were produced by D. Stempel AG in Frankfurt, Germany. Their design was based heavily on an earlier German typeface named Amts-Antiqua, which had also been produced by Stempel. Amts-Antiqua is credited to Henrich Hoffmeister, and he developed it between 1909 and 1919. Madison Antiqua is an excellent selection for body text in magazines and newspapers. Dillan is an 18 style sans family with an edge. It’s angled ascenders add movement and a unique appearance, whilst its flatter terminal angles gives a more fluid connection to partnering letters. HWT Brylski is a typeface by Nick Sherman, named for retired wood type cutter Norb Brylski and designed to be cut as wood type at the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum. This font is the digital counterpart to the wood type made as part of the Hamilton Legacy Project . It incorporates several themes that were common in 19th-century type design, including split tuscan serifs with angled mansard-style sides, heavy weight placement at the top and bottom of letters (traditionally referred to as French or Italian/Italienne, regardless of any actual relation to those countries), and an extended overall width. HS Albasim A is an Arabic display typeface. It is useful for headlines, books covers and other graphic projects. It is a collaborative effort, as "HS Albasim A" first letters were designed and drawn by Basim Salem Al Mahdi from Iraq and then developed and digitalized as a typeface by Hasan AbuAfash from Palestine. The font is based on the simple lines of Fatmic Kufi but was it distinguished by two main ideas: First, it contains a nice serf in the vertical strokes of its letters. The second, some of storks in its letter differ in the thickness instead of being similar, as it is in the Fatmic Kufi style. The font contains only two weights: regular and bold. Both of them support the OpenType features of Arabic, Persian and Urdu.

In Amaboxi the upper-case letters are all placed upon a background inspired by the cardboard boxes that many people in Africa use to carry their possessions. The box takes its shape from the character and conversely, the character is influenced by the shape of the box. All characters except the six "fractions" are included in Amaboxi. It includes all upper and lower case letters as well as all numerals, punctuation, accented and special characters. All characters have been letter-spaced and kerned in terms of the box (not the character). This improves legibility, however, the inter-character spacing has been minimized so that there is often a very slight overlap between the boxes of adjacent characters. This generates an exciting and variable "white space" around the characters.

In the early 1960s, the Duro Decal Company of Chicago, Illinois added to its line of water-applied decal lettering a retail sign cabinet of die-cut, pressure sensitive vinyl letters and numbers. Four of the six sizes offered for sale were cut from white plastic with a black outline and a secondary gold inline for a tri-color effect. Typoskript AR is based on a metal type which was produced in 1968 by VEB Typoart, Dresden, from a design of the German calligrapher and lettering artist Hildegard Korger. It bears all the qualities of the artist’s inimitable style which will be immediately recognizable to anyone who’s familiar with her Handbook of Type and Lettering (Lund Humphries, 1992) (Schrift und Schreiben, Leipzig, Fachbuchverlag, 1971). The ARTypes transcription retains the roughness of the artist’s pen on paper as it was featured in the original type, as well as the letterfit, ch, ck and f-ligatures. ARTypes have supplied the font with all the standard accents, monetary signs, etc. The original qu logotype is provided as an alternative letter. A printable .pdf specimen of the type can be downloaded from the gallery.

Pilgrim is a re-cut of a Linotype face that Eric Gill originally designed for a book published by the Limited Edition Club of New York. Admired for its tranquil dignity, the Pilgrim type is both firm and elegant. Its general appearance resembles that of Gill’s Joanna font family. The contrast of the font is not very strong. The serifs are bracketed. Eric Gill, who designed the type on which Pilgrim is closely based, observed one sort of model for his lettering - the incised monumental letter of Roman origin. This is clearly seen in his capitals, but is also true of his lowercase letters, which have little of the calligraphic or engraved qualities of most other type designs. Gill’s types are Roman in the classic sense, yet also particular to Gill himself.

The Fornire family of typefaces grew out of a desire to provide a font that has a bold yet simple impression.
