Isotonic started out as a spin-off with the idea of creating a text oriented version of Ciutadella, it has since taken on a life of its own. Building on a foundation that has proven to work very well, we decided to open the counters and increase the x height. Even though it is not strictly a text font, it works surprisingly well in body sizes and screens. It’s not a problem with this family. There are over 2000 glyphs in every weight with such features: superscript and subscript characters, tabular lining and old style figures, small caps, fractions, arrows or even case sensitive parenthesis. Mato Sans was designed for use in Latin as well as in Cyrillic script. Every font contains an extended set of Cyrillic characters including special, local glyphs for Bulgarian, Macedonian and Serbian.

I raise chickens for eggs and meat. I usually buy fertilised eggs online and place them in my incubator, which says that it is 'fully automatic'. Of course I added that rather random introduction to tell you how I came up with the name for this new font... Fully Automatic is a handmade cartoon font: I used a sharpie pen to draw the glyphs onto rough paper. The result is a wobbly, yet quite clean cartoon font. Fully automatic comes with extensive language support and two sets of alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type.

Bang was designed by David Sagorski in 1993 as a playful font of spirals. It consists of two capital alphabets which can be combined like the usual capitals and small caps, although both have the same height. When drawing a new font, there is a time when the final form is found – almost – but the curves are not slick and clean yet, that's what I call the "raw" form. Raw – no sweeteners added! In this family I redefined this moment in type development for the eternally beautiful "Franklin Gothic". I call the design "Franklin Gothic Raw". This packet is the semi-serif addition. There never was a Franklin-Gothic with serifs but actually the font lends itself perfectly to a slab-serif. I started with adding a half serif and eventually add a full slab-serif later on.

Kanna Aoki was designing fabrics and dishware for several major manufacturers when she designed MVB Cafe Mimi. The design came from a few words Aoki painted as decoration for a set of cappuccino cups. Aoki created the Regular weight for MVB Fonts using a brush. The Bold was adapted after digitization. Using several double-letter ligatures, the fonts can feel as natural and spontaneous as the original hand-painted lettering. Despite its curlicues and free-flowing forms, great care was taken to keep this script balanced and legible. It skips and hops along the baseline but doesn't lose its step.

Edda Glaser’s digitized handwriting is a beautiful script containing many ligatures and alternates. The first lines were drawn in 2012 – however, there are now over 850 glyphs! The elegant and light typeface combines both connected and separate characters, in this way gaining a dynamic flow. The Open Type Features allow you to choose glyph alternates for the beginning and end of words. The script also contains lots of numbers as old-style and titling figures as well as sub- and superscript figures.  The many alternates and swash uppercase letters let you create a versatile look which suits designing magazine and other print media.

Grotesk Polski FA developed in 1998-2006, was inspired by the Polish eminent pre-WWII text typeface - Antykwa Półtawskiego. Adam Półtawski designing his antiqua had took into consideration the special qualities of Polish language. He designed unique letters: k, w, y, z and R, K, Y. Another unique element of his typeface was polygonal dot. Grotesk Polski keeps all that shapes and goes further. It is a contemporary sans serif in four cuts: Regular, Italic, Bold and Stencil. The proportions of the typeface were rebalanced to give it a neo-grotesque form with a Polish twist.

Alan Meeks designed Chesterfield in 1977. Chesterfield is a retro typeface, harkening back to decorative design from the turn of the century. There are many subtle art nouveau traits and curves in Chesterfield, and a hint to Frederic Goudy's work as well. Chesterfield is a display typeface, and should not be used in sizes below 12 point. This typeface would be a great fit for newsletter headlines, or signs for country stores. There are two styles of Chesterfield available: Chesterfield, and Chesterfield Antique. Chesterfield Antique is a more antiquated version of the typeface, and its letters appear slightly corroded.
