Zimmerman for Barnhart Brothers & Spindler in 1929, and takes its name from one of the co-founders—with Pablo Picasso—of the Cubist Movement. Both versions of this font contain the complete Unicode 1252 (Latin) and Unicode 1250 (Central European) character sets, with localization for Romanian and Moldovan.

This work is inspired by creatures that I have drawn for my six year old boy. The monsters can be found at chrismetcalfe.com. I wanted to take their hair/fur and translate the fun attitude to type. To be honest I think this font is used best as display type. However the fun attitude lends to many usages without structure.

This handy family takes its design cues from Beton, a slab serif designed by Heinrich Jost for Bauersche Gießerei in 1931. A number of characters have been softened by the addition of ball terminals, commonly seen on manual typewriter type in the 1950s. Both versions of this font contain the complete Latin A Extended character set, as well as extended ligatures and fractions.

ITC Deli Supreme is a “futuristic retro” face that would be at home as a logo on a car or a roadside diner from the 1940s or '50s; the lowercase nearly joins, in script style, thanks to the long extenders stretching out from the bottom-right corner of most letters, while the caps have beginning strokes leading in from the top left. The Declaration of Independence was authored by Thomas Jefferson, but his is not the classic handwriting on the engrossed copies familiar to most Americans. That belonged to Timothy Matlack, an early patriot who fought in the Revolution, sat as prosecutor at Benedict Arnold’s court martial, and also penned copies of a number of documents for then-General George Washington. This font was inspired by the rare manuscript Roman Quadrata used by an unknown scribe to inscribe a copy of the Roman poet Virgil’s GEORGICS, somehwere around 161 to 180 AD. Only a few sheets have survived, now preserved by different libraries around the world. In creating this font, we have adapted it for contemporary users, making differences between U and V; I and J (which made no difference at all to ancient Latin scribes) and naturally adding the glyphs for Thorn, Oslash, Lslash, W, Y, as well as the usual accented characters and punctuation, none of which existed at the time. Only capitals are present in the original; but we have provided alternates: so alternating each character A-Z/a-z will give a pleasant appearance of manual script. We have added the Roman numerals “I V X L C D M” in the OTF/TTF versions usable as “Old Style Numerals” alternates.

The Siseriff family of types contains nine different styles, which were developed by the master Swedish typographer Bo Berndal in 2002. Siseriff is a contemporary slab serif face. Except for the Siseriff Black weight, all of the letters display a slightly condensed appearance that is coupled with a relatively uniform width throughout the alphabet. Siseriff's nine styles are distributed across five weights (Light, Regular, Semi Bold, Bold and Black). The Italic companions for these styles (Siseriff Black does not have an italic companion) are true italics. These redrawn italics add a higher degree of differentiation from the Roman weights than could be achieved with obliques alone. Many common Slab Serif families (e.g., Serifa) do not offer this degree of differentiation. This variety makes Siseriff the perfect choice for journalistic and editorial work, where a good hierarchy may be achieved solely by relying on the various weights available, and their italics. Auchentaller was inspired by a travel poster by Josef Maria Auchentaller in 1906. To our knowledge, it was never cast in type. Grado lies on the northern Adriatic, between Venice and Trieste. At one time the port for the important Roman town of Aquileia. With the decline of the Roman Empire, the upper Adriatic region came under the rule of the Visigoths, the Ostrogoths, the Byzantines, the Lombards, the Franks, the Germans, the Venetians and finally, in 1796, the Austrian Hapsburgs. So it remained until the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy in 1919, following World War I, when the seaport of Trieste was awarded to Italy. With Trieste came Montefalcone, Aquileia and Grado. The area was marked by years of political tension between Italy and Yugoslavia, exemplified by the d'Annunzio expedition to capture Fiume (Rijeka) in September, 1919. Some basic discussion of the period from 1919 to 1939 may be found in Seton-Watson’s Eastern Europe Between The Wars (Cambridge 1945) and Rothschild’s East Central Europe Between The Two World Wars (Seattle 1974). In 1965 I was traveling by train from Venice to Vienna. Crossing the Alps, the train stopped for customs inspection at the rural Italian-Austrian border, just above Slovenia. We were warned not to get off the train because there were still shooting skirmishes in the area. Through all this, Grado remained literally an island of tranquility, connected to the mainland by a only causeway and lines on a map. Auchentaller not only painted the beach scene at Grado, he moved there, living out the rest of his life in this comfortable little island town. His travel illustration contains the text from which the design of our font Auchentaller is drawn. The text translates: "Seaside resort : Grado / Austrian coastal land". Auchentaller is a monoline all-cap font, light and open in design , with a lot of typically art nouveau letter forms. Included in our font are a number of ligatures.
