Because of the large influx of Irish immigrants during the late 1800s and early 1900s, it was not unusual for songwriters of the day to craft songs around Irish themes, offering a nostalgic link to their homeland. One such 1917 piece entitled "You Brought Ireland Right Over to Me" had the title hand lettered on the sheet music cover in a sans serif design reflecting the popular Art Nouveau movement of the day. Guillaume is a small family of text fonts with its roots in the French sixteenth century. The roman is based on the types of Guillaume Le Bé (c.1525–1598), and the italic on those of Claude Garamont (Garamond) (d. 1561). Toiban is a classy modern sans serif font. If you want your design to have that nostalgic typewriter effect, Not my Type would be perfect. It's old-fashioned and retro—letters are worn and grungy like it needs a new ink ribbon. Friedrichsfeld is a small town near there where I live. Friedrichsfeld, Voerde and Wesel was Part of the Preussen Kingdom till 1912. Friedrichsfeld was a Parade ground of the preussen troops and get the name of the King Friedrich II (the old Fritz). Today there is a Preussen Museum near Friedrichsfeld in Wesel. The Font comes in two ground Version, one in the history Letters and old Ligatures and a modern Version.

Rukou originated as a logo for a fashion designer. The idea was to make a fusion of a geometric typeface with the flavour of childish features. Rukou was inspired by school hand-writing models, but adds very specific and interesting features to it. Rather than focusing on readability, the primary goal was to have a unique type texture. This is the reason why lowercase is disconnected. The disconnected letters opened the possibility to create the special shapes for individual letters. The typefaces consist of two different styles inside one font. You can choose to set your titles in uppercase, or lowercase/titlecase. As each style has a slightly different texture, there is the opportunity to combine them in interesting ways. The uppercase can even be set in small paragraphs

Signal1885 is the abbreviated name for "(Sig)nature Jour(nal)" a font that harkens back to an era, when fine handwriting filled journals with observations of science and adventure. Intimate and reflective of an individual entering his thoughts in his personal journal or a ship’s captain documenting his voyage on a daily basis.
