Stiana font is a venetian serif in modern design. The general idea was inspired by beautiful masterpieces of Nicolas Jensen and William Morris. Stiana holds fine, balanced readability of venetian serif, and both 21st century trends. Letterforms are expressive and bold enough to use font as display, but it also fits nicely for text. Stiana supports Western Europe, Cyrillic and Greek languages. Stiana is surely a good choice both for screen applications and print media. A couple of years before the second World War, Marcel Jacno, the popular French graphic designer who in the 1930s designed iconic posters for Gaumont and Paramount and famously illustrated the Gaulish helmet that first adorned the Gauloises cigarette packs in 1936, was asked by Deberny & Peignot to design a calligraphic typeface for the advertising market. Jacno's Scribe design, billed by D&P as a "virile ad writing" typeface, was released to some great fanfare in 1937, enjoyed some time of French spotlight, and was ready to make waves in the rest of Europe before the war broke out and snuffed its chances at international recognition. However, samples of it can still be found in some specialty post-war publications as an example of a trend that lasted a couple of decades, when Western European type manufacturers commissioned famous visual artists to design typefaces in order to capitalize on the artists' fame - the trend that brought us standards like Futura and the long list of Lucien Bernhard and Imre Reiner faces. While I was developing this font, my mother kept feeding me something she calls "Dream Cake". This indescribably delicious confection fueled my inspiration (there's nothing like a constant sugar-high to keep you going!) and the result is this cute little font. Rekord Antiqua, regular and semibold, released 1911 by Wagner & Schmidt, is a perfect body text partner for Art Nouveau display fonts. Everyone loves an Art Deco typeface. And there are hundreds of similarly-designed deco faces out there! Tatty is a sans serif, monoline font that is distinguished by the gentle, rounded, backward curves on the ascenders. I created it because I had a picture in my mind of a font that I wanted to use when designing images and logos for clients' websites but I could never find one that was just exactly right. Many years ago I worked for a sign-writing company. My job was to copy and enlarge letter sets from printed copy and then cut masks for airbrushing. One morning I arrived at my desk to find that the airbrush artist had written on a rough, rubbed out, scribbled on drawing of the letter ‘a’ - “make a letter happy, make it beautiful”. That was the brief I set myself in the design of Tatty - to make every letter happy and beautiful. The result is a flowing, elegant yet simple type which I believe works particularly well for poetry.

LOOK OUT! It's kinda creepy, we know, but we're convinced that this font does whatever a spider can -- in fact, we believe it can actually spin a web of pretty much any size, and even catch thieves as if they were bugs of some sort -- let's say flies.
