This family was created -- inspired from the engraved typeface (Two styles : Normal & Italic) used in the pack of 52 playing cards who was describing the 52 counties forming a small Atlas of England and Wales and depicting English roads for the first time, published by Sir Robert Morden in 1676. Our OTF and TTF versions are covering Western, Eastern and Central European languages (including Celtic), Baltic and Turkish, containing historical and standard ligatures plus specific Old English abbreviations. The MacTT Classic version is containing the basic standard 256 glyphs including some extra ligatures.

CPL Kirkwood is a distressed condensed bold slab and sans serif typeface. With both the serif and sans serif type options, it can be used in a broad range of design works. Letterpress type, crafted by H. Th. Wijdeveld, founding editor and chief designer of the legendary Dutch art and architecture magazine Wendingen, provided the inspiration for this typeface. The original design graced a 1925 issue examining the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, and Wijdeveld created his typeface by assembling bits of standard brass rules. This version features several of the meanders typical of Wijdeveld’s graphic design in the dagger, double dagger, ASCII tilde and ASCII circumflex positions. Both versions of the font include 1252 Latin, 1250 CE (with localization for Romanian and Moldovan).

Ampmosphere, a picture font, contains instruments and components from a 60's rock and roll band. After a friend's request to create a guitar graphic, I decided to start a set. Over time, more instruments were added along with amps, tubes, lights, etc. The glyphs are great to use individually or combined. 65 detailed glyphs in all... A - Z upper and lower case; 0 - 9; comma, period and forward slash. Upper case A, B, C and D are the separate strings for the stringed instruments a, b, c and d.

Alice is a formal fantasy font. It’s inspired in the fairy tales and magical lands that my mother used to tell me as a child when I went to sleep. The capitals are really nice and complex, while the minuscules are cleaner for easier reading. The style Curly uses some features of the normal uppercase letters in the lowercase ones. There are some minor, yet noticable, flaws in a number of characters that will need correction for signage/vinyl letter cuts (characters appx. 2-1/2" and larger).

Legitima is a text font family inspired by the types found in the 3rd edition of the Italian book La Cicceide Legitima, printed in 1695. Its weight and x-height, optimized for 10 point-size, make it an ideal choice for book design and anything with running text. Like most typefaces from the 16th century, the strokes that constitute Legitima seem to depart from the traditional broad-nib pen model of handwriting and dare to explore the shapes produced by the techniques in use by punch-cutters of the time.

Some time ago, my kids asked me what kind of sweets I really liked. To be honest, I don’t actually like sweets at all - never have, never will. BUT… you can wake me up for chocolate and ice cream! Those are my guilty pleasures! Guilty Pleasure is a handmade font. I used China Ink and a brush to create all the glyphs. Guilty Pleasure is a very distinct display font. I recommend you use it for your ice cream or chocolate packaging… but that, of course, is entirely up to you!
