Shirah 25 started as a freehand study, while experimenting with ink and new nibs. Later on, when David decided to have a digital version, he drew it merely with the tablet, trying to keep the spirit of the ink and the nib. Shirah 25 is an OpenType/TTF Unicode font.

CroMagnon began as an experiment with breaking the rules - crossbars thick, downstrokes thin - and evolved into a funky, sassy font (a little like the designer). CroMagnon offers a nice mix of edginess with respectability. There are alternates for almost all of the lowercase letters which keep the font fresh and fun.

Since the early 1980's, the automotive industry has been developing geometric/technical style logotypes for car chrome labels. Santini began as an experiment in mixing historical art deco, art nouveau, arts and crafts, and to a lesser extent Bauhaus sources. Surprised at the pleasant outcome of the experiment, we expanded it to become three weights, and included some alternates within the fonts themselves. For decades - until the advent of affordable computer-generated signage - die-cut display letters were used for many applications. Stores, theaters, schools, charities and religious organizations would have their local sign shop design attractive posters and show cards utilizing these sturdy cardboard letters and numbers, giving a three-dimensional effect to the message. Sign Department JNL recreates one of the many styles of letters available at the time.

CS are the initials of Carsten Strinkau, a young German graphic and type designer who studied in Hamburg. CS Takashi is a hommage to the Japanese Manga artist Katsuhiro Otomo and his character/figure Takashi from the Akira-Manga. Takashi appears like Japanese kanji but looking more closely, you will read the Latin alphabet.

Vivian Script was designed from the study of typeface references like Doyald Young. It has optical adjustment in the details and funny contrasts to get an amazing result. It can used to be applied on different commercial topics like street wear, food and traveling for tourism. This is Vivian Script, the love of my life.

Goudy Titling was designed by Steve Matteson. It is based on the 2" wood engravings Frederic Goudy made for his book ‘The Trajan Capitals’ - a seminal book about the history of the Roman letter. These letterforms predate the work of Father Catich’s exhaustive study of the Trajan Column and, while remarkably faithful to the inscription, have Goudy’s interpretive fingerprints.

The result of a study into the Paris Metro system; Metro Sans is a Grotesk typeface with personality. It bridges the gap between the stern terminals of a Swiss Neo-Grotesk, and the smooth curves of a modern day Geo-Grotesk. The two combine to give a versatile typeface that works well in both body and display weights.

FansiPensle is a set of four decorative scripts. The capitals are fussy and ostentatious and a little weird with strange flourishes. The lower-case letters are neat and simple. Lower-case letters have the shapes of a cursive alphabet and they are connected in the cursive and cursive-bold styles but not in the plain and bold styles.

Happy Reader is a font family conceived to make reading easier for dyslexic children. Recent studies show that a wide spacing of the letters favors speed and understanding of the children with difficulties. Happy Reader proposes a handwritten writing with connected characters in three different spacings. NB: if letters are not connected, it is necessary to activate Contextual Alternates.

FreeDee is a re-draw of some experimental lettering first drawn during A-Level (just after high-school) art and design studies. It was originally purely self initiated, and one of the first things I used Illustrator to draw. This version takes the original handful of letters and extrapolates a full alphabet with basic latin accents.
