Corleone was originally designed as a two font family in 2001 and offered for free. This year we've expanded the font family to twelve fonts including small caps and italics. While the new Corleone has been greatly refined and is a much more professional quality font we've decided to still offer the original two fonts for free. Corleone is the perfect font for t-shirts and other merch, the new small caps make this font stand out and bring attention to whatever you use it on. Corleone is the font you can't refuse. Tech notes: Corleone was designed after a famous movie logo in the 1970's with a title name that sounds a lot like The Grandfather if you know what I mean. The movies had three installments, my original font was patterned after the logo for the third movie, the new Corleone Primo and Secondo versions are patterned after the logos of the first two movies. The differences are noticed mostly in the lowercase letters. One thing you will not find in this font family is the puppeteer or puppet master hand because it's been registered as a separate trademark of Paramount Pictures. If you're using an application that works in layers then you'll be interested in the four extra over score glyphs included in some of the versions of this font. Sorry, MS Word does not work in layers so this feature will not work in MS Word. When you open up the glyph map in Adobe Creative Suite you should see the over score glyphs when you scroll down to the bottom. These extra over score glyphs allow you to extend the top line of a single capital letter, with four different lengths you should be able to mix and match to achieve the length that you desire. When using the over score glyphs it's best to divide your word or headline into separate text objects, the cap being one object and the remaining letters being the second. If you try using the over score glyphs on a single text object then with each over score that you add the text after it will get pushed down the line.

Sabor is a voluptuous upright connected display font with mixed taste of script fonts. There were many inspirations for Sabor, but all started with a book from the 1950s about the battles of World War II. To that first sketches of a naive dense display typeface we, day by day, start to create a mixed style evolving some lettering concepts from 1950s, some calligraphy notions and the first display ideas. The feeling of this font is good to be used in many artworks, like logos, packaging, party invitations, layouts for t-shirts, magazine headings, and much more, since websites to and all kind of printed jobs. That font is not really a script, but, like the scripts we strongly recommends to use the caps only in the beginning of words and sentences, to contrast with the lower cases : it’s not designed for all-caps settings, so avoid that kind of use. The history of this font is those. Once I assorted the old children's books which have stayed from times of my childhood. On one of them I have seen a trade mark of a printing house consisting of two Russian letters "L" and "B". From they were begun also with my font. And though finally from these letters a little that remained, elements of these letters can be seen in font D-block B.

Hounslow is closely related to Acton in structure, and takes the latter’s simple block construction into the third dimension. Three variants – open, solid and shadow – can be freely mixed in one setting for effect. Originally designed solely in the italic variant, an upright was added by request. A further unreleased set with a range of line weights was later commissioned by the New York Times magazine, and used extensively in their television supplement.

Last year I spent some time exploring the city of Bath in England. Its claim to fame are the Roman Baths in the city center, which are well worth a visit. Kingsmead is an electoral ward within Bath and I thought it was an apt name for this rather stylish - if old fashioned - font. Kingsmead Script is a handmade font. It comes with diacritics and some discretionary ligatures for double lower case letter combinations.

I am not one for prophecies of impending disaster and all that, don’t worry! I just liked the name and it seems to suit this handmade font quite well. Symbolic Prophecy was made with a broken bamboo satay skewer and Chinese ink. I quite like using broken satay skewers, as they give a fantastic ‘random’ effect. A piece of hand lettered sheet music from the era of the "Roaring Twenties" served as a model for Raccoon Coat JNL. It was a time of Prohibition, bathtub gin, flappers and college boys decked out in beanies and raccoon coats. College pennants, ukuleles and "23 Skidoo" were all part of the youth culture during this period; which gave us such dances at the Charleston, the Black Bottom and the Lindy Hop.

American Type Founders released the pattern for this typeface under the name "Thermotype". In the days of cast-metal foundry type, copyfitting headlines could prove problemmatic at times; this typeface, with a wide uppercase and narrower lowercase of exactly the same “color”, allowed stacked lines of type to be composed with uniform width.
