The Mule is a very special mix – it has a donkey father and horse mother, and they often inherit the best qualities of both. "The mule is an example of hybrid vigor, Charles Darwin wrote: The mule always appears to me a most surprising animal. That a hybrid should possess more reason, memory, obstinacy, social affection, powers of muscular endurance, and length of life, than either of its parents, seems to indicate that art has here outdone nature." They are typically very strong for their size compared to horses and are able to cope with bad weather better than donkeys. Mules rarely become ill and their behavior is Intelligent and sensitive. In the right home, they can make great companions for other equines, and wonderful pets. However, if they are unhandled or not correctly trained, mules have the potential to be dangerous. The inner shapes of Mule Cargo are almost identical between the Regular and the Heavy weight. This shared genom make them very powerful pair and a useful design tool for display purposes.

Magpie is a font family consisting of three sub-families with both regular and italic styles. Originally designed on squared paper, over time it has moved further and further away from this rigid grid, although its appearance is still based on it, so it can easily be used for logotypes or headlines with strict grid-based layouts. While Magpie Text is suitable for headlines and short texts, Magpie Display is ideal for logotypes or more playful headlines. Finally, Magpie Mix is a combination of both families. Magpie Text Regular represents stability, Magpie Display Italic is ideal for dynamic logos or headlines. To cover more languages, cyrillic and greek letters were added and Magpie can be used for nearly a hundred languages. Home Style is a revival of a very old font previously thought to have been designed by Joseph Gillé in or around the year 1820, however recent evidence from France suggests that an artist by the name of Silvestre from the same time period may be the true designer of this font. You may have seen this font in the past under the names of Circus, Roma, Madame and Gillé Classic. Originally designed in France, this very decorative font was only available in uppercase including numbers. Today this font has been re-mastered and updated with the addition of a newly designed lowercase set of letters. Home Style with its diagonal or cast shadow lines breaks away from the original design which has squared off shadows. Ansage is a sans serif font with a strong personality that emerges from an interest in and the study of a wide variety of typographic specimens of Gothic fonts from the nineteenth century. The design process behind Ansage brought about constant transformations in form; the result is a compact and robust font, with a large x-height, small ascenders and descenders, and open terminals that grow in expressiveness as it increases in weight. It is available in 10 weights, ranging from Hairline to Black, and 3 widths – Condensed, Regular and Expanded – plus italics, which make a total of 60 perfect variables to combine and contrast with each other. Marzano is a geometric sans serif font that's ideal for headlines, logos, text and advertising, the name comes from the ever so sweet and wonderful San Marzano plum tomato grown in Italy. Milonga is one of the most characteristic dances of Argentina and it is usually compared to Tango. However, couples perform shorter and more energetic movements when dancing to the beat of Milonga. In addition, while Tango evokes the idea of nostalgia and reminiscence, Milonga conjures up more light-hearted memories in people's minds. Milonguita was designed so that readers can experience the passion and spontaneity of this dancing style through words. Users can play with the upwards and downwards patterns of the letters creating different images and textures and thus, making texts flow smoothly and naturally, just as a warm piece of Milonga would. The irregularity of the strokes conveys emotions and establishes a bond between the font and the sensitivity of the writer. Zierde is a take on early advertising, small-copy grotesks of the late 19th/early 20th century, and is largely inspired by Miller & Richard’s own range of Grotesques. More importantly, Zierde is accompanied by a large set of ornaments (+200) which hark back to the look-and-feel of the early-modernist arts and crafts movement. The ornaments in, and presentation of, Zierde owe much credit to J.G Schelter & Giesecke’s 1913 type specimen book ‘Die Zierde’. The strong functional uppercase sans-serifs alongside luscious, beautiful patterns in ‘Die Zierde’ make for beautiful combinations. This early-modernist use of grotesk alongside ornament looks bizarre in the eyes of us used to seeing sans-serifs in more formal, sterile settings. The face itself retains some historical flourishes such as the eccentric leaning angle of the italics, the long cross-bar on the ‘G’, the gammy-leg of the ‘R’, a strange ampersand and some irregular terminals across the weights. Zierde is display face meant for headlines, titles, short-copy, labels and logos. It comes in caps and small caps, Latin and Cyrillic.

It started with an italic, or to be more precise, half an italic. The slanted styles of Urge Text exhibit a certain bipolarity, the tops of glyphs having a standard italic form, the bottoms of glyphs being more Roman in their construction. This sturdy footing really locks the italics to the baseline, making them very legible while still being distinct from the uprights. The same bipolar approach didn't work very well in upright styles, so the Romans are more toned down. Ranging from the almost monoline, Egyptian style light weights to higher contrast ‘Modern’ bolds, there is much potential for use in typographically demanding scenarios. The family consists of six weights, normal and condensed widths, all with italics, making a total of 24 fonts; it’s a highly usable text typeface with an array of OpenType features.
