The Raphael of Flowers is what they called Pierre-Joseph Redouté a couple hundred years ago. Joseph Kaspar Sattler, one of the great German art nouveau artists created these nice initials in 1897 for the famous royal monumental book project Die Nibelunge for the Reichsdruckerei Berlin.
