On top of that, the handling of details such as in the serifs, cross bars, and terminals are wonderful to appreciate when used at large point sizes as well. Gingko received a Certificate of Excellence in Type Design at the Type Directors Club of New York TDC2 competition in 2009.

There is a particular charm about traditional, hand executed sign writing. Brass Rail JNL is a novelty font, with its name derived from two key components of the source material. It was modeled from examples of vintage small letters stamped out of brass with "rails" above and below each character to fit within a slot. The most likely use of these letters would have been for either decorative initials or small merchandising signs (similar examples of both have been seen in the past). Azarosa (a.sa.ˈɾo.sa) is a display font inspired by the work of the urban artist Arkano in Bogotá (Colombia). The orthogonal shapes of a continuos line adapt themselves pretty well to the architecture of the city, and the not common ductus of the letters gives a very attractive visual texture, which is always seen before read. Visually, Azarosa is related to the graffiti movement pichação in Brasil and with some nordic runes; this is why this visually "encrypted" font is not easy to read, ideal for underground purposes.

Insan, designed by Ihsan Al-Hammouri in 2005, is a modern Arabic typeface in three different weights. The design is based on simplified Naskh with a very low modulated stroke treatment. P22 Tuscan Expanded is a digitization of the mid-19th Century Woodtype font "Antique Tuscan Expanded - Wells & Webb 1854". Specimens of this font are rarely, if ever, seen with a lower case. It is noted in the book American Wood Type 1828-1900 by Rob Roy Kelly that the lower case is "missing". This version was digitized from a recently discovered full set including all lower case plus ff ligatures. One unique feature of this design is the heart shape formed in the V, X & Y.

Sierra is an antiqua with a high x-height and generous, open counters. Many curves of the letters are almost right angles, which was particularly suited to the Digiset machines from Dr. Ing. Rudolf Hell, Kiel. The forms of Sierra with their flowing stroke contrast and half serifs have a calligraphic touch, which is especially highlighted in the italic weights.
