Steve Jackaman and Ashley Muir. It was our initial intention to develop a suitable lowercase for Les Usherwood's 'Elston' typeface, based on a few characters from an old German typeface called Hermes Grotesque (Woellmer, Berlin). However, the new design quickly took on a life of its own, and we decided to call it ‘Creighton’. Originally released as a four font family, we have now added eight more weights and made the entire family into 'Pro' versions for good measure.

In designing a font that had a Mayan or Aztec quality to it without the usual "Mariachi" look, I decided to make it single weight with some open ends and offbeat rounded serifs to give it a more serious feel which will lend itself to other non ethnic uses. I have added a few discretionary ligatures, which also contain old-style numerals, titling caps and small caps. Usage recommendations: Captions, packaging, cards, posters, ads, book jackets, manuals, and menus.

Cowboy Burt was once a cowboy, but now he's a carnie at who runs the tilt-a -whirl. This hand drawn font was designed for use in a skate-punk layout, but will be quite at home in the old west, the circus, or underground cartoons. There are two versions Regular, and Extrude which work together or apart. There are even some goofy dingbats scatter throughout. You'll have hours of fun with Cowboy Burt...Where's my waitress?

Billsville is a fun font that mixes the casual sassy flair of an old Flintstone cartoon with the upright legible nature of a classic serif font to create something entirely new. Remember that kid in your class who always knew the right answer, who always had their hand raised? The first kid to finish the test, the kid who LIKED the pop quiz, the kid who did the homework five seconds after the teacher wrote the assignment on the board and was guaranteed to get an an A+, even though they NEVER studied? THAT kid? Burghal Design has a font that both remembers and salutes that kid, that teacher's pet, that know-it-all: SmartyPants. SmartyPants comes in regular, bold, and because bold just isn't bold enough for SmartyPants, super bold. In the old Amsterdam neighborhood of 'De Jordaan', you will find a canal called Bloemgracht (Flower Canal). For many years, a coffee store called Schildmeijer could be found here. Their paper coffee bags and advertisements sported a hand made font which I have tried to recreate and the result is Bloemgracht typeface. It is an all caps art deco font, quite angular, but very legible and distinct. Bloemgracht comes with extensive language support.

No mystery here: this monocase neon face is based on the old logotype lettering for The Electric Company TV show. This version adds a little jolt with happy outlet characters in the dagger and double dagger positions, a plug at the section mark, and a rather novel treatment of the mu character. This font contains the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.
