Faithfully reproduced from my father’s design drawings made at The Municipal School of Arts and Crafts, Wolverhampton in 1939. Strong nostalgic influences of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. What caught my eye was the consistency with which each particular character was formed: every ‘R’ like every other, every ‘S’ the same. Tight letter spacing and loose word spacing characterised his titling but he didn’t trust himself to print without first ruling guidelines, a hint of which remain in this font.

Ticketing is a monospaced font loosely based on the pixel style lettering of electronic ticketing, designed for clarity when cheaply printed at small sizes. Ticketing, however, has a larger x-height than is often found on ticket type. The glyphs were drawn on a square grid 13 wide by 22 high, though some accented characters are taller or extend below the baseline. The Space is a full character width, but the Non-Breaking Space is set to half the width of the glyphs.

Tahiti Sans is a playful, all caps display sans available in 2 versions. At first glance it appears to be the offspring of a rather uniform font and a wacky one. The variations of letterforms as well as random angles are minimal. They’re tall by nature so squeezing text into tight spaces should be easy. There are times when a typeface is used so consistently that it becomes somewhat synonymous with the subject it's used in. The opening and end titles for the ABC-TV series "Naked City" (1958-1963) were set in a bold version of a popular font emulating the look of calligraphic hand lettering. Arcaro JNL is a somewhat lighter and slightly modified version of this typeface and is offered in both regular and oblique versions. Usually, the condensed version of a face comes after the regular design. Not with gogo squat. After gogo big, I thought how strong a regular version would be. A nice clean gutsy face. A "today" Franklin Gothic Extra Bold. I find it ideal for contemporary headlines as well as for logo solutions. As with gogo big, in my terms and conditions, I permit the modification of up to ten of the letter forms for logos and monograms, but logos and monograms only, not the typeface in normal usage.
