Faithfully reproduced from my father’s design drawings made at The Municipal School of Arts and Crafts, Wolverhampton in 1939. Strong nostalgic influences of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. What caught my eye was the consistency with which each particular character was formed: every ‘R’ like every other, every ‘S’ the same. Tight letter spacing and loose word spacing characterised his titling but he didn’t trust himself to print without first ruling guidelines, a hint of which remain in this font.

Love Birds Pattern is a picture font consisting of pattern tiles and illustrations. It is the sister font of Love Birds , which contains a handful of charming birds silhouettes. With 37 unique tiles (corresponding to lowercase & numbers) and 26 single illustrations (corresponding to uppercase), this font makes it easy to create awesome patterns – even in the simplest text editors. Just be sure to set the line spacing value the same as the font size, with no spaces between paragraphs. And keep singing!

Ticketing is a monospaced font loosely based on the pixel style lettering of electronic ticketing, designed for clarity when cheaply printed at small sizes. Ticketing, however, has a larger x-height than is often found on ticket type. The glyphs were drawn on a square grid 13 wide by 22 high, though some accented characters are taller or extend below the baseline. The Space is a full character width, but the Non-Breaking Space is set to half the width of the glyphs.

Tahiti Sans is a playful, all caps display sans available in 2 versions. At first glance it appears to be the offspring of a rather uniform font and a wacky one. The variations of letterforms as well as random angles are minimal. They’re tall by nature so squeezing text into tight spaces should be easy. Characters are slightly jumbled in a childlike manner and misaligned with varying degrees of spacing. Use it for youth sports, social media, toy packaging or advertising.

Comicraft first created this font, based on the unique European lettering style of Ladronn, for the Marvel X-book CABLE in 1998. It was later upgraded for THE INHUMANS mini-series, and modified again for the HIP FLASK mini-series in 2002. Old Thunder is a revival of an 1800’s Tuscan style font called Lavinia, we've expanded the original font to include a lowercase, an Open faced version, a very attractive Black face and last this set just wouldn't be complete without a Fill font. When you see the word Fill in a fonts name this describes its purpose which means the font is intended to be used for filling in the open space of its parent font or the Open faced shadowed version from that font family or group. Some Fill fonts look as if they may be used as stand alone fonts but others simply do not look good used as a plain font. The Fill font for Old Thunder was designed to work as both a fill and a regular font, although when used as a regular font the letter spacing will appear a little wide. If needed the spacing can be adjusted in some applications font settings, check the help file in your application for further information on spacing. You will need an application that allows layering of your fonts in order to take advantage of FontMesa Fill fonts.

Lucidity is a condensed, handwritten font with emphasis on texture and default wide spacing. This makes it a versatile font for display, medium amounts of text, and T-Shirts.

Claxon is reminiscent of the types from the 1920s Bauhaus movement. Designed with very short ascenders and descenders for tighter line spacing. Effective for short headlines and general use.

Positively bold, Cachalote was drawn by subtracting negative space. The resulting glyphs show unexpected, original forms, packed in an unicase font. Suited for impact. For the coolest looks. Positively.

An excellent example of early 1900's sign artistry. This Letterhead Fonts' revised version of Mike Henderson's bold font features all new spacing, kerning and improved characters. Includes 6 alternates.

KD Diagona is a display, geometrical face with 45 degree diagonal cut. Letter spacing along with almost 4000 kerning pairs were designed to match the diagonal progression of the font.

Gwyner, a strengthened didone with sharp and clean characteristics, comes with thin to bold weights and is suitable in italic for various uses. A condensed family for space-saving design.

Latino is the work of British designer David Quay, an unusual, condensed, wedge-serif roman typeface. The characters can be set normally or widely spaced. Latino exudes grace and elegance.

Lasta is small serif font family with simple elegant shapes, refreshing Italics and poetic endings. Containing 2 weights and 2 italics, with lower x-height which brings more air (empty space, white space...) into paragraphs making text more graceful and legible. Thin serifs bring small touch of dynamic into letter forms, just enough to bring specific tone to paragraph. Beside being mainly imagined as fully text family, Lasta is suitable titles or decorative typography as well for, especially the Italics with fancy curvy endings.

SS Vortax is a space-age themed display sans featuring broad strokes and tight spacing. This close relative of Galaxus features imposing Capitals with some sharp slants in the Italic version. Vitrines is a digital and extended version of a charming alphabet featured in a 1913 book devoted to window signs and show cards. This version was carefully developed to preserve the original hand lettered look and feel. It includes a bold weight and a set of pattern tiles to adorn your compositions. A note about the pattern font: in order to create even patterns, be sure to set the line spacing the same size as the font and set no spaces before or after paragraphs.
