While other handwritten fonts have some visible letter patterns, Editor's Hand comes with three sets of letters that automatically alternate, so you don't have to worry about swapping them out yourself! I designed Lowbridge Hand for product designers, fashion designers, architects, garden designers and anyone who wants to annotate their sketches and drawings. This is something I wish I had when I was a design student. It has different weights allow you to better match your pen size used on your drawings or to emphasise text. It is an all caps font. Pen Swan is the latest offering from Jen Maton & Great Lakes Lettering. A Pen Swan is the species of an adult female swan. It is a fitting name as it contains ‘pen’ in the name which is the tool used to draw the letters. Pen swan demonstrates the same grace as the most elegant type of bird in the animal kingdom. Nevins Hand is our first release of a new collection of fonts based on the designs of Peter Nevins, a San Francisco poster artist who does hand-lettered fonts in the Art Nouveau tradition.

Paint Hand is based on type drawn with an open acrylic paint tube. This bold vernacular typeface with rugged rounded edges will work well for headers and captions. Paint Hand is extended, containing West European diacritics making it suitable for multilingual environments and publications.

SAV Display PT is directly inspired from hand-painted commercial signage found around Savannah, Georgia. There is a strong tradition of hand-painted signs adorning small car wash stations, to beauty salons, to mechanics and restaurants. Currently a collection of about four to five painters account for the majority of the signs. This font was derived from 10 uppercase letters that seemed to represent the aesthetic thread found throughout the signs. There are no lowercase letters found in these signs, so the lowercase of the font had to be designed from scratch. I felt this added versatility to the font and its possibilities for usage. This font is strictly a display font. However, because of the apparent roots (intended or unintended) of the lettering to transitional/modern modulated fonts, it does read surprising well at smaller sizes.

Midnight Sun, despite its rough look, was carefully painted. I used a very cheap brush with stuck-together bristles to get that ‘eroded’ look. Midnight Sun comes with double letter ligatures and some really cool stylistic alternates as well.

Dusty Hands - my crunchy legible comic font, originally with a fat marker and then digitally manipulated. I've made 3 versions for you, and they all fit like a glove - use them as they are, or do some layered effects. All versions have the "contextual alternates magic" - and in this case it means 4 slightly different versions of each lowercase letter.

Sweet Hand was inspired by casual, neat hand lettering. It is casual and informal and is ideal for use in conveying these qualities. It is excellent for casual text and at large sizes an effective casual display font. The font includes upper and lowercase alphabets, numbers, punctuation, accented characters, symbols, and miscellaneous characters.

Betico’s Hand is based in Elberto Roman’s handwriting. It could be used even in a formal project.
