Northstream is a Neo-Grotesque in motion. The typeface was inspired by an attempted photograph of an interesting shop sign that was interrupted by a passing truck. The resulting effect was a blur of movement and designer, Hendrik Weber, wanted to capture that feeling within the typeface. The result is a whirlwind of a design and the shadow behind the letterforms creates a very interesting effect. This typeface is meant for graphic designers to enjoy and play around with, and it is best suited for display text and large sizes such in posters and billboards. Northstream was designed as part of the Font Marathon that was run at the Monotype London office in November 2016. Marshmallow is a fun, fat, super high-contrast script typeface in two variants. A slick connected (Script) and a mellow unconnected (Fluff) style that provides the versatility you need regardless of the display usage you plan. Phillip Kelly first drew the Croissant typeface in 1978 for Letraset. Back in the 1970s and 80s, Letraset's rubdown lettersheets were a popular means of designing with type. Initially we wanted to create a font that would imitate an inscription made by a square tip marker which is usually used to write price tags at supermarkets, shops and cafes. During the working process we've decided to extend the conceptual boundaries of the Walls fontfamily and added 5 rough typefaces that imitate the style of ecologic chalk writing

To be independent or to be dependent? The formula “one plus one is one” is here essential for this to work. The different cases, upper and lower is dependent on one another. To give us clarity they have to work together, to be like one the upper and lower cases must work together. Expedition One works best in InDesign or equivalent software. How to use it: write your text in lower case, copy the text frame and ”Paste in Place”, change your lower case text to upper case (you do that under top menu->type->change case). Change colour if you want to and maybe change the blending mode in the effects window to “multiply” makes it even more sparkling. On numbers and ampersand for example, you have to use the glyph window in InDesign to find their second half.

Excited-Alphabets is a lowercase display font. The letterform is sans-serif with a few appendages to give the letters a life-like and cheerful form. Also, each Letter has two poses (i.e. s and S) which makes it easy to design the perfect headline, characters can also be chosen individually from the glyphs menu to get a unique look. Its dynamic or ‘dancing’ look makes it perfect for (short) editorial headlines, celebratory lines, fun branding, social media posts, website headers, posters, ads, products, stationery designs and more. Excited alphabets was born in Frankfurt (Germany) when two ‘almost-neighbours’ met at a coffee shop. Inspired by the illustration of Sumbo Pinheiro, Excited was designed by Harald Geisler and Sumbo Pinheiro. From quirky illustration to font, this was a fun project to work on because each alphabet comes with its own sassy character.
