Centima Mono is a subfamily addition to Centima type family. Centima Mono is a condensed geometric monospaced san serif, built in six styles. Schreibmeister is my interpretation of Arno Drescher’s design for Ludwig Wagner, Leipzig, completed in 1958. The letters X and x were improved as well as some ligatures. The letter E has an alternative, and the small d comes with two alternatives, of which one form can be reached by typing the partial different key. Generally it is recommended to activate both Standard and Discretionary ligatures.

Another entry in the trusty old "Schriftatlas" named Phoenix—original source and designer unknown—provided the inspiration for this bouncy bit of alphabetical tomfoolery. Its animated typeforms, definitely retro chic, will put some bounce in the step of any headline it graces. Both versions of the font include complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1524 character sets, with localization for Moldovan, Romanian and Turkish

Another filter effect version of Adhesive Serif Letters JNL (of which the original design was modeled after some vintage gummed letters used for signage) and is called Shattered Dreams JNL. This variant has jagged edges all around and is kind of reminiscent of shapes you could make with a small magnet and iron filings. Shattered Dreams JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Typefaces designated as Latins were popular during the last half of the nineteenth century. One of the styles that continued to be popular into the twentieth century is the bold condensed typeface Latin. Readily identifiable by its triangular serifs and sharp terminals on the strokes of some of the lowercase letters, Latin Condensed makes an interesting display type and its condensed proportions easily solve copyfitting problems.

A Japanese design firm called Maniackers put together a typeface design in 2001, which they called Snail. This typeface is based on that design, with a few tasty modifications and some industrial-strength kerning, so that the letters literally slither across the page. This font contains the complete Latin language character set (Unicode 1252) plus support for Central European (Unicode 1250) languages as well.

From the 1917 sheet music for "The World Has Been So Mean to Me" comes a wonderfully hand lettered chamfered sans with varying widths and character shapes, now released digitally as Sentiment JNL in both regular and oblique versions. This informal bit of lettering retains the stylish elements of the Art Nouveau period without the extreme eccentricities found in some typographic designs of the period.

I made Cut Along by stealing some red cardboard from my kids (red, because they didn’t have any black…) and cutting out the glyphs one by one with a pair of scissors. I then pasted the shapes onto white paper, scanned them and turned them into a font. Cut Along is a very nice font for ads, book covers, packaging and children’s books. Enjoy!

This lettering style is unusual in that combines aspects of several lettering styles. It is essentially a Germanic Blackletter but with many romanized capital letters and also features an italic slant along with some italic lower case traits. Adis Ababa is a font based on an ancient Ge'ez script. The Ge'ez alphabet is the written language of the ancient ancestors of the Ethiopian and Eritrean nation. Within the 1893 edition of the Barnhart Bros. & Spindler type specimen book is “Bisque”, a text and headline type face with a charmingly eccentric look. Some upper case characters take on more of a squarer look than others, while the lower case has a higher ‘x’ height. This type revival is now available as Soup and Salad JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

The font is named after the Armenian writer Theodoros Grigor Lapchinchian (Armenian Թեոդորոս Գրիգորի Լափչինճյան: March 5, 1873, Constantinople — May 24, 1928), who in 1912 published book "Type and Letter" (Armenian: Տիպ ու տառ), dedicated to 1500th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian alphabet and the 400th anniversary of Armenian printing. Anarckhie is a decorative slab-serifed typeface with a calligraphic origin. The horizontal elements of the upper-case letters are below their midpoint, and the x-height of the lower-case letters is unusually small. There is some variation in the weights of the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal elements. The small x-height makes this typeface appear smaller than its point size would indicate.

Madita started with the idea of an upright sans script. Unlike other script typefaces, some of the characters look fairly constructed. The endings are either vertical or horizontal. On the other hand there are the swashes of a flowing script woven into the sans stroke that create an interesting tension. Madita is surprisingly legible, even in smaller sizes. The upper case letters even work in all caps.

Lisboa Hebrew is humanist sans-serif typeface base on the same design as the original Lisboa (2005).
