Alter Aves type is the first part of AlterType project – the serie of small display typefaces based on letterings, left-off types and altered foundry typefaces. Alter Aves is display condensed sans-serif typeface with couple of geometric-round letters, serif-styled elements and flat brush strokes. It supports Latin Extended-A (Western, Central Europe, Baltic, Turkish) and Cyrillic encoding languages and minimal opentype features – oldstyle digits, case sensitive punctuation, small-numeric forms and scripted fractions. Fully functional Demo style is distributed free for non-commercial using.

Sivellin is an elegant brush script with a lots of alternates, swashes and small caps. All in all it has over 1,300 glyphs. Sivellin has round and soft letterforms, low x-height and quite a generous spacing to get that elegant and very legible result. Because of all the alternates Sivellin is a very versatile script font. It can look very straightforward or with added Swashes very flamboyant. Or something between. It gives you options to customize your typography and designs the way you like.

Bowdon is a warm, Bodoni-inspired English Modern, influenced by the 1930s lettering of designer Barnett Freedman. Slightly rounded corners give characters a printed-look softness, and hairlines are thickened a little to increase legibility at smaller sizes, reducing the harshness and dazzle that can afflict Didone typefaces. Bowdon is supplied in three widths – Regular, Wide and Narrow – and each width is accompanied by a utilitarian oblique rather than a fancy italic. Each font includes a full Latin Extended-A character set and additional oldstyle numerals.

Stockville JNL is a total rebuild of the wood type design originally found in Arvada JNL. All angular lines were straightened to give the lettering a more classic look. Bold, brash and block style, this headline typeface is available in both regular and oblique styles.

Tallahassee Chassis JNL was modeled from a toy alphabet rubber stamp set made in Japan and imported to the U.S. during the late 1950s and early 1960s. The lettering style somewhat resembled that found on the side of old railroad cars, buses or trolleys.

A unique and stylized type design with Art Deco influence was found within the French publication “Modèles de lettres modernes par Georges Léculier” (“Models of Modern Letters by Léculier”). This lettering is now digitally available as Deco Wide JNL in both regular and oblique versions.

Based loosely on a square, this hair line design works best at 24pt and above. Due to the modular nature of this design there may be a slight lack of smoothness to the curves at very large point sizes (around 100 pt and above).

Wisdom Teeth is the fifth typeface released by DM Founts. It's a modern and personal take on the original Baby Teeth font by Milton Glaser, and inspired by the lettering used for the Pac-Man series of games (and its clones). This typeface was around 25 years in the making, and was made in response to the large number of hideously bad clones of Baby Teeth circulating around the Internet. Version 1.0 Included in Version 1.0 are a number of accent characters, and alternate characters for A and Y, along with the usual ASCII characters. For the time being this is an all caps typeface. UUeirdie is weird. The Condensed-Light style was derived from the star-serifed font Asterx by replacing the star serifs with a rounded flare serif. Widening that style resulted in UUeirdie-Regular and the bold was then constructed to complement it. The warped version was a result of play with a font distortion program. Although the glyphs have sharp corners, they do not have straight lines. The UUeirdie faces are rough, irregular, and maybe a bit creepy.
