"Punk is not dead, grunge is not dread, skateboarding and grafitti is forever" - shouted by some (possibly drunk!) person one late night. I had these "wise" words in the back of my mind, while making this font. I wanted to capture the wildness of both punk/grunge/skateboarding and grafitti without overdoing any of them!

Upperclass was a font I created back in 1995. I had a brainstorm about the uppercase letter “A”. I noticed that the cross bar for the letter A is always toward the bottom, what if I moved it toward the top. The result is a unique font, a great addition to your font collection.

Back in the days when we earned our living with a travelling magic show, we took the shaded font Lithotint, filled it in, modified some characters, and here is the result. In those days, to use the font we had to cut and paste stats of individual letters by hand. You have it easier!

There is nothing dangerous about this font, but indeed something dashy! That may not make much sense, and that's the same with the font - unless you want to do something eye-catching and organic looking for kids! Dashy Danger is my laid back, kinda wild, legible but unpredictable kids font - with an organic twist!

RM Sans has been designed to offer an useful but inexpensive family of 5 regular weights; 3 condensed weights; 5 outline weights and an 'eco' alternative. Due to the modular nature of this design there may be a slight lack of smoothness to the curves at very large point sizes (around 100 pt and above).

On a huge garbage bin in Lisbon I saw the sentence, “Perdidos no kaos”, which means lost in chaos and I really liked the rough stenciled lettering. American Copper Family is a vintage font inspired by an old American motorcycle logo. The logo looks very manly and strong, just like the motorbike. American Copper Script is the dominant one that turns the logo into a font. Whereas the Sans and Block family is a complement to the Script. But all three are a very good unit to be juxtaposed together. American Copper is a font made for you (designers) who love automotives: old cars and motorbikes. Anything related to automotive. Besides these two objects, this font is also very cool for music-themed design needs; rock n roll, metal, rockabilly, and others. In the old Amsterdam neighborhood of 'De Jordaan', you will find a canal called Bloemgracht (Flower Canal). For many years, a coffee store called Schildmeijer could be found here. Their paper coffee bags and advertisements sported a hand made font which I have tried to recreate and the result is Bloemgracht typeface. It is an all caps art deco font, quite angular, but very legible and distinct. Bloemgracht comes with extensive language support.

Pronter It is a stunning vintage font that comes in three styles: Regular, Rough and Stamp style and also includes two font styles: shadow and rough shadow. This font contains many alternates, so make them up to the extent that your design's creativity is enough. Pronter font versatile it can be used both in modern projects and in vintage ones, as a main or additional one. This font is easy to use, has OpenType features.

In the years 1937 and 1938 Paul Renner drew these both styles of the Ballade font family. Now freshly redesigned and extented for contemporary use, both styles have reappeared. These fonts contain the historical long s, which can be reached by typing the integral sign [ ∫ ] or by turning the round s into the long s via using the OT feature historical forms. It is also recommended to activate the OT feature discretionary ligatures.

Greenwich is a modern-looking humanized sans-serif typeface with open aperture, inspired by the works of English typographers in 1910s–1920s. It comes in 9 weights accompanied with matching mixed-style italics. Yellow Balloon is a typeface named after my two year old son's favorite book: The Yellow Balloon by Dutch author/illustrator Charlotte Dematons. Every night before he goes to sleep, he wants to read the book and manages to find the yellow balloon on every page. Yellow Balloon is a cartoonesque font with an uneven baseline. Bayannur is a typeface published by Monoco Type Foundry inspired by Arabic Calligraphy in Chinese Tradition. This font has extensive Latin script support with many ligatures and stylistic sets, as well as Cyrillic and unique Arabic design with contextual alternates and many ligatures. The glyphs in this font also specifically support Uyghur script typing*. Fledermaus (meaning 'Bat' in German) was a cabaret theater from Vienna. The original Jugendstil decor was designed by Josef Hoffman and several posters, advertising performances, were designed by other members of the Vienna Workshop. Fledermaus font was based on a 1907 poster by Bertold Löffler. Since only a few glyphs were available, I designed the missing ones myself. The lower case consists of small caps and the font comes with extensive language support.

Bodoni Classic Inline is a very elaborate extension of my Bodoni Classic family. The font has 5 different swashes for each capital letter, diverse swashes for lowercase letters and a full set of ligatures, oldstyle and normal numerals, all together 669 glyphs. Created in 2010 by Olivier Gourvat, Mozziano is an elegant cross between geometric and round shapes. Its post-retro style opposes also fine and thick lines. This font can be used for very short texts however it is particularly effective for headlines in larger point sizes so that its details are emphasized. Mozziano best used in experimental designs. Etrusco Now is the revival of a lead typeface originally cast in lead by Italian foundry Nebiolo in the early 1920s. Heavily inspired by the design of the Medium weight of Schelter & Giesecke's Grotesk, Etrusco was, like Cairoli, an early precursor of the modernist grotesque superfamilies: a solid, multi-purpose "work-horse" typeface family that could solve a wide range of design problems with its range of widths and weights. When designing the new incarnation of Nebiolo's Etrusco, the Italiantype team directed by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Mario de Libero decided to extend the original weight and width range to keep this "superfamily" approach. Etrusco Now has twenty-one styles widths in three widths of seven weights each, with matching italics; the original weights for the typeface have been collected in the Etrusco Classic subfamily. Etrusco Now new widths allowed the team to include in the design many nods and homages to other vintage classics of Nebiolo. The lighter weights of the normal width have been heavily influenced by the modernist look of Recta, while the heavy condensed and compressed widths refer to the black vertical texture of Aldo Novarese's Metropol. This infuses the typeface with a slightly vintage mood, making Etrusco at the same time warmly familiar and unexpected to eyes accustomed to the formal and cold look of late modernist grotesques like Helvetica. Contemporary but rich in slight historical quirks, Etrusco Now is perfect for any editorial and branding project that aims to be different in a subtle way. Etrusco Now's deviations from the norm are small enough to give it personality without affecting readability, while its wide range of open type features (alternates, stylistic sets, positional numbers) and language coverage make it a problem solver for any situation. Thalweg serif typeface is a project focused on the digitalization and development of the Thalweg font. The font was originally designed in 1993 by the Bulgarian artist Ivan Kyosev. In 2018 Ani Dimitrova began the revival of the Thalweg font and converted the drawings into a digital form. The existing set of characters required some necessary expansions such as the development of capital letters, alternative symbols and many other functions. Furthermore, some additional weights were developed which aimed to make the font more complete. Thalweg was completed in 2020 with 16 weights ranging from Thin to Black with extra drawn italics and small caps versions, each style containing more than 1100 glyphs. The font comes with an extended coverage of the Latin, Cyrillic and Greek Scripts. All of the weights are specifically equipped for complex, professional typography with Open Type Features. These features include: Small Caps, Ligatures, Discretionary Ligatures, Superscript, Subscript, Tabular Figures, Old-Style Figures, Circled Figures, Arrows, Matching currency symbols and fraction. Ivan Kyosev (1933-1994) was one of Bulgaria’s most famous artists whose work influenced several generations of bulgarian designers. He was born on February 5, 1933, in the city of Burgas. In 1957 he graduated in illustration at the National Academy of Art in Sofia led by Prof. Iliya Beshkov. Mr. Kyosev was a member in the management of the “Graphics and Illustration” section in the Union of Bulgarian Artists, member of the UBA board, artist in the publishing houses “September” and “World”. Together with Boris Angelushev, he worked on the layout design of the “Literary Front” newspaper. Furthermore, in 1963 - 1964 he was the main artist in the publishing house “Prosveta”. Ivan Kyosev excelled in the field of illustration, book design and library layouts in various genres (classics, children's literature, poetry, journalism, memoirs, etc.). He is also the author of many fonts.

A type of “handwriting” discovered by chance, extremely abstract On April 8, 1948 a certain Walter Plaga wrote a crude poem about a hero on a commemorative plaque. The very poor reproduction of the handwritten original, etched into a metal sheet, produced extremely abstract forms so that — even if unintentional — a script completely void of bowls was created. That which originally was the normal clumsy handwriting of a layman thus transformed into a pseudo-modern deconstructive typeface, which in the 21st century appears contemporary. The capital letters especially reflect the original: in part they show forms labeled incorrectly ”old German“ handwriting, which is actually Latin, in the letters A D G I J K L S V W X Z , whereas C H N O P R appear very modern. Truly a form of handwriting: without joining the letters, especially between the lower case characters, a silhouette effect is formed. To a great extent Hero is impressive due to its driven-to-the-limit abstraction and to a lesser extent by retaining an antiquated and nearly illegible effect.

Diaria started as a project in Typeface Architecture for Master in Advanced Typograghy at EINA, Centre Universitari de Disseny i Art de Barcelona, a course tutored by Laura Meseguer and Íñigo Jerez Quintana. Later it has developed into Diaria Pro, an extensive typeface including Cyrillic script, small caps, and various OpenType features. Diaria Pro is a low-contrast serif typeface designed as a primary text face for the newspapers. Its large x-height and static exteriors allow comfortable reading in narrow columns, and calligrafic counters as well as dynamic serifs add humanist detail to overall perception and incline contrast axis without affecting interletter counterforms.
