Hernández Bros, is a typeface designed by Daniel and Eli Hernández. Born in the year 2021, in the midst of the Covid pandemic, from a collaborative spirit where everything called them to work together as family, in order to obtain better results in such trying times. The Hernández siblings, started a ping pong of drawings based on Bulfinch found in the 1912 ATF catalogue. From this exercise, Hernández Bros was designed, a modern Sans Serif, with 8 weights ranging from Extralight to Black. This is an elegant font, with beautiful and harmonious contrasts, which makes it ideal for titles, brands, editorial design, magazines among others.

Hi, presenting a classic style font Aquatory. It's a thin and tall decorative font with nice classic shape. A descent advantage of this font is a big set of ligatures and additional characters. As you can see on the previews, the first and the last letters has an extra decorative swirl*. To achieve this result just type the first and the last capital letters*. Future Bugler Soft is a soft version of Future Bugler, a font based on the second logo created by Harry Warren in early 1975 for his sixth grade class newsletter, The Broadwater Bugler, at Broadwater Academy in Exmore, Virginia, on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. This font can convey several perspectives or moods. It can suggest a space-age vision of the future, or an art-deco perspective of the future as in the movie “Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow”. Varese is a geometric and modular typeface inspired by early 1900s Art Deco posters. Its heavy weight is excellent for headlines, display, or large body text. The lowercase is similar to the uppercase, yet many of the lowercase letters have interior spaces and several have some variations on the form (see H/h, E/e, F/f, I/i, J/j, L/l, N/n, T/t). The lowercase also has two alternate glyph sets that are half size and align with cap height. One of the alternate glyph sets has an underline and the other set does not. Varese has a sibling, Varese Soft.

This is my new, completely worked over and fine-tuned Bodoni Classic for Europe (no Greek and Cyrillic). I have added a set of elegant Swashes (B) and 2 alternating uppercase swirly Initials (C) as well as two lowercase end-letters (D). The fonts A and B have extensive kerning, which the initials (C) don't need, they are aligned to replace the standard capital letter. The lowercase end-letters (D) are aligned to replace the standard lowercase letters, so you might need to add a blank after the swirl. It's no-nonsense construction bears many influences from Gill Sans and Frutiger while stubbornly blending my own humanist touch. The focus on developing Macha was just to get to the point with each letterform and discard the rest. Macha takes a little but gives a lot. This family was created -- inspired from the engraved typeface (Two styles : Normal & Italic) used in the pack of 52 playing cards who was describing the 52 counties forming a small Atlas of England and Wales and depicting English roads for the first time, published by Sir Robert Morden in 1676. Our OTF and TTF versions are covering Western, Eastern and Central European languages (including Celtic), Baltic and Turkish, containing historical and standard ligatures plus specific Old English abbreviations. The MacTT Classic version is containing the basic standard 256 glyphs including some extra ligatures.

Sir Richard Henry Bonnycastle (1791–1847) was an English officer and military engineer who served in the War of 1812 and ultimately settled in Canada. I stumbled upon copies of some of his charts and maps, became infatuated with the hand-lettered titles—and the result is the eponymous Bonnycastle. The font has a bold weight and an italic style but is intended as an eye-catching standalone, evocative of its period in history. Use as a titling face on branding materials, event posters, book covers, presentation graphics, historical illustrations, and the like.

The cover of the 1929 sheet music from the First National/Vitaphone picture “The Girl from Woolworth’s” had its title (“Someone”) hand lettered. This single word title was the model for Store Clerk JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions as well as solid and solid oblique versions (without an inline). Burdigala is a clean-cut, modern yet classic typeface inspired by Didones and Aicher’s Rotis family. Burdigala Sans is especially well suited for on-screen usage such as in apps and pdf documents. I got rhythm, I got music, I got my swirls, who could ask for anything more? Periplus is quite an eccentric type, full of twists and nice oddities here and there. It is an all-caps font with 2 variations for each letter and number, stored at upper- and lower-case slots. For added amusement, every letter got not 1 or 2, but 4 swash variations. One can be reached through the OpenType swash feature: just select the letter and hit the swash button. The other ones you will access through a glyphs palette. All of them are neatly organized with the 'access all alternates' feature. The font is yet equipped with some stylistic alternates and ornaments. Have fun!

Raven hair and ruby lips, it may have been a trick of the light but I'm sure sparks flew from her fingertips. I definitely heard echoed voices in the night, of a restless spirit on an endless flight. If I remember correctly she held me spellbound in the night, with dancing shadows and firelight. Yes, I think I did see a crystal ball on the table, showing the future, the past and I did drink the potion she offered me, when I really should have gotten out of there fast. Such was evident in the [13 word] title of the 1919 composition “Take Your Girlie to the Movies (If You Can’t Make Love at Home)”. On the sheet music for this song, it is hand lettered in the Art Nouveau fashion of the time by a round nib pen, and made a perfect candidate to be redrawn as a digital typeface. The end result is Nouveau Theme JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Some scribbles on a bar napkin, a note from a cute girl passed in history class, what is there to say but why not a typeface? Actually it's that late night, �let's get this typeface done� madness that causes these flights of fancy. Anything to relieve the boredom of doing all those kerning pairs. Or maybe it's sunspots? Ms Kitty is all uppercase letterforms so there are two versions of each letter, one in the cap position, another in the lowercase position. Besides the regular weight and bold, there�s a bolder and much bolder in the works. And perhaps there will be a "too bold to be believed" version. Depends on the sunspots.

Although the 70ties were very liberating and progressive, still girls played mainly with dolls and sweet things and boys with all kinds of challenging stuff. They did all sorts of basic scientific experiments in mini labs and of course built cool things with Meccano building sets. As a girl I was perfectly happy with the toys I had access to. But at the same time I was very curious about all the adventure toys and discoveries my brother did. It also made me wonder why the grown up people thought that our world could be separated so easily by separating our toys in pink and blue sections. At this day of age Meccano is probably hopelessly old fashioned and far to manual. Children of today are fed by fast images and cool animations on screen, they learn, play, communicate and relax in the same space, the digital space. The special feature of Meccano was that even though it was very basic there was the promise you could create anything. It might even contribute to a logical mind. The typeface I designed refers to the Meccano feel. It is a creative typeface. A bit masculine and bold looking perhaps but after the first impression a subtle and refined female touch is revealed. It has links to architecture and associations with metal constructions like ‘The Eiffel Tower’ and (old railway) bridges. I am convinced that we all think of that as very charming man-made objects.
