Labyrindo is inspired on the classic Labyrinth. The oldest known labyrinth is 3200 years old and is to be found in Greece. The mythological king Minos held the monstrous son of his wife ‘Minotaurus’ prison in a labyrinth. Much later the labyrinth made his appearance in the medieval churches, this time as a pattern on the church floor. During the Italian renaissance the multiple gate labyrinth came in fashion. Paths led trough green hedges in beautiful palace gardens. These hedges where perfectly cut in rectangular shapes. Mainly meant as an aesthetic statement. Besides the origin of the physic labyrinth, it has always been a great source of story-telling and myths. I mention a few personal favourites (film) like, Pan’s Labyrinth (a journey to the underworld), Labyrinth (with David Bowie) and the Shining with Jack Nicholson (where a horrific scene takes place in a labyrinth). Not the most cheerful stories but fascinating and intriguing. A Labyrinth is mind boggling and mysterious but wonderful. I made graphic translation in this typeface.

I thought it may be interesting and had continued developing the style with letters N, O, etc., spending hours on some letters to match the design and my vision. I liked how it looked (especially digits) and added different weighs. And it came out pretty stylish. Ljubljana was inspired by art deco lettering seen in Slovenia, Croatia and Romania. It includes the Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic alphabets. It is named after the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana is unicase, composed of as few basic glyphs as possible. The basic glyphs are shown in black, and the derived or duplicated glyphs in grey. Ljubljana attempts to encapsulate the essence of both upper and lower case designs in a single glyph. It also explores the common origins of the Greek, Latin, and Cyrillic alphabets, using the same glyph in more than one alphabet.

An offbeat typeface inspired by the lettering on an art poster by Patrick Owsley for the cartoon character Hoppity Hooper. The Souvenir typeface was originally drawn by Morris Fuller Benton in 1914 as a single weight for the American Type Founders company. It was revived in 1967 by Photo-Lettering and optimized for phototypesetting equipment. ITC was formed in 1971 and, with the help of Photo-Lettering, introduced ITC Souvenir as one of its first font families. ITC Souvenir was designed by Ed Benguiat and comes in four weights, each with a matching italic. In 1983, Ned Bunnel's ITC Souvenir Monospaced was released; this is a monospace version of ITC Souvenir.

Christopher Matthews originally drew Piccadilly for Letraset in 1973. Piccadilly is a decorative, all caps display typeface with a high degree of stroke contrast. All of Piccadilly's letterforms are made up of a single, curvy line. The thick" elements of each letter are five lives, while thin elements are made from one or two. In order for all of this detail to be clear, Piccadilly should be used in large point sizes, i.e., from 36-point on upward. Piccadilly's style is reminiscent of both the Art Deco and Disco eras."

The stroke through the letterforms adds some interest and elegance, although I believe this typeface expresses a sort of vehement or serious character. This is my new, and first, typeface. Architype Crouwel is a collection of typefaces created in collaboration with Wim Crouwel, following his agreement with The Foundry, to recreate his experimental alphabets as digital fonts. Crouwel's most recognized work was for the Van Abbe and Stedelijk museums (1954 –72) where he established his reputation for radical, grid-based design.
