fj Meduza is a new typographical system designed by Franco Jonas Hernández, born as an exploring process from the classic model from —modern or didones style— typhography from XIX century. fj Meduza also explores the posibilities of Optical Adjustments —from 8 or 10 to 72 pts— offering a version to compose preferent reduced sizes —newspapers— and another version to titles with long-standing. Ideally for Branding, Headlines and especially complex editiorial contexts.

I enjoy and am inspired by many blackletter designs, but find that their uppercase characters are generally too complex to be very usable. I also found that very few, if any were designed with perfect 45 degree angles. I set out to design a textura blackletter with unique features and a usable uppercase. What resulted is an interesting, yet usable, geometric design with unusual features that make it stand out from existing texturas.

Now that there are more Studio K fonts than there are characters in the alphabet it occured to me that I should produce a sampler font that showcased them all: hence Variety. The 'What the font' experts amongst you should enjoy identifying individual characters, but to start you off, the featured fonts in the font title are, in order of appearance: Alma Mater Outline Shadow, Aspidistra, Signpost, Cafe de Paris, Showbiz, Barrowboy and Soft Rock.

Erato follows the structure of french and dutch 17th century types. But instead of being historical, it uses modern formal elements. The simplification of similar formal elements creates a homogeneous and contemporary impression. Erato comes in six weights and in OpenType format. profonts Concerto and profonts Sonata are closely related to each other. In fact, the only difference between the two related fonts is in the upper case characters. Concerto's upper cases are more complex, swashier than those in Sonata. One is a perfect complement to the other, and that is why they are offered together at special rate. Both fonts contain about 370 glyphs covering the complete Latin set for Western and Eastern Europe.

Christmas A2 uses the following OpenType features to set up to four different color layers. - Superscript/Superior (Trees) - Subscript/Inferior (Stars) - Numerator (Candles) - Denominator (Light, Bells) Note: Due to the complexity of some parts of the font, some printers may have problems of rendering it smoothly. To avoid this problem you should always outline the font data for the final documents. On lower systems turn font antialiasing off for faster screen redrawings.

Script characters should fit together neatly and the connections mustn't look awkward. While this can be accomplished by using dozens of alternate glyphs and OpenType feature coding, there is still something worthy and eloquent about doing it with the simplest character set possible. Tribeca Script is a casual, mono-weight script first drawn as the headline for a Taste of Tribeca poster and later finessed into a font with no pretense of looking hand-rendered.
