Italiko is a calligraphic font. The letters have been hand-drawn individually to extract the common strokes. The strokes have then been re-composed to give the font a more unified appearance. It comes in Black, Bold, Regular, and Thin. The Thin version is different as the extreme contrast in the font makes the thinner lines disappear. It is likely best used as a display font. There are ligatures for the combination of letters that can be written more quickly by using a single stroke and letters that are slightly different from the ‘Italic canon.’ You can select which one to use in your application (i.e., Word) using combinations of italic/bold: No selection -> Regular Bold -> Bold Italic -> Thin Bold Italic -> Black If you end up using the font, get in touch at https://github.com/lucabol/Italiko. Costanera is a neohumanist typeface with both soft strokes and endings, which is inspired by 90s typefaces. It has an organic aspect and curved finials associated to the early calligraphy, while its straight angles give Costanera a technological and futuristic impression. Costanera weights go from thin to black, thus it can be used in short-impact phrases ideally using Black or Thin weight and extensive texts selecting the Book version. On the other hand, due to its calligraphic-futuristic features Costanera is perfectly suitable for different fields, such as vanguard technology, architecture, and signage topics. Imperio is a font inspired by old posters, especially those related to constructivism and futurism. It reflects both the rationalism of Bauhaus as a propagandist and revolutionary spirit of an era. On the other hand it is not nostalgic, but instead looks for its own way to get diagonals where there was rigidity. The poster itself is the language of graphic design, and geometry is its ally. This font aims for that goal. It has two variants that derive from its source. Imperio Giga Black attempts to be a negative typography, starting with the black and then searching for small windows in which they begin to uncover the morph. This is an extreme and modern font. Imperio West is a metamorphosis of the original one, with decorative details which transform it into a typeface of wood and saloon font. Here’s a different take on my face Jungle Fever, patterned after Neuland Black, originally designed by Rudolph Koch for Gebr. Klingspor in 1923. A “sunrise” shading pattern has been employed to add visual impact and warmth to headlines. Best used in sizes of 48 point and above. All versions of this font include the Unicode 1250 Central European character set in addition to the standard Unicode 1252 Latin set.

Stucco is a construction material that is used as a decorative coating for walls, ceilings, exteriors, and as a sculptural and artistic material in architecture. Stucco can be applied on construction materials such as metal, concrete, cinderblock, or clay brick and adobe for decorative and structural purposes. In similar fashion, the Stucco font is designed to be a decorative piece and is intended to support a wide variety of mediums. The font is intended to be used as a header or headline font, but a creative designer will find other uses for it. The font contains 300+ glyphs which includes uppercase letters, lowercase alternates, numbers, symbols, accented characters for multiple language support.

The characters of Skagwae have no curves, just straight line segments. The letter shapes themselves are fairly standard, but the choppy line segments used to construct them give the fonts a crude, unfinished look that is highlighted at large point sizes. At small point sizes the fonts are surprisingly legible. The family has nine styles. The regular, bold, italic, bold italic, shadow, and shadow inside styles are proportionally spaced. Shadowinside is very similar to regular but is spaced to be used in a layer with the shadow style. SkagwaeMono-Regular and SkagwaeMono-Bold are monospaced versions of the family. A third monospaced style, SkagwaeMono-Rippled, is a distorted version with squiggly lines full of curves.

A Colporteur is a peddler of books, newspapers, and similar literature. When I was young, we often got visits from colporteurs - mostly they wanted to sell us a very expensive encyclopedia. I haven’t seen them for a while - the internet probably killed their trade, as there are numerous free encyclopedias out there. Colporteur font won’t try to sell you stuff - it basically sells itself. It is a jolly serif family of 6 styles plus a very useful doodle style full of arrows. Use it to sell your encyclopedia online, write a book and use if for the cover or create a ‘hunt the colporteur’ game. Comes with an encyclopedic knowledge of diacritics too!
