Hazim is a display font designed with isolated letters. It uses thin white slits positioned within extra bold black space glyphs emphasizing the main visual characteristics of the Arabetic letters in two positions: initial/medial and final/isolated. The spacing widths between glyphs match that of the slits to give a virtual cursive look and feel. The name Hazim was chosen to honor a friend of the designer, Hazim al-Khafaji. Hazim supports all Arabetic scripts covered by Unicode 6.1, and the latest Arabic Supplement and Extended-A Unicode blocks, including support for Quranic texts. It comes with one weight and a left-slanted “italic”. The script design of this font family follows the Arabetics Mutamathil Taqlidi style and utilizes varying x-heights. A sans serif typeface of geometric proportions, with very low contrast and slightly rounded corners, it was the first typeface to be produced in the Coco series, an ongoing research on the design variation in gothic typefaces through the ages. Cocogoose extreme x-height and ultrabold weight (with regular being comparable to heavy weights of other typefaces), have since then made it very popular for effective display and logo use, also thanks to decorative versions like Cocogoose Letterpress. Since 2016, Andrea Tartarelli has been improving the typeface expanding the original glyph set to include cyrillic and greek and adding extra weights, widths, and italics to the original family range, and bringing Cocogoose to an impressive count of 52 variants. In 2019, Francesco Canovaro has teamed with Andrea Tartarelli and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini to create a new variant subfamily: Cocogoose Classic, featuring 8 weights and matching italics. Cocogoose Classic keeps the original design for uppercase characters while developing a new design for lowercase, with a smaller x-height, round dots and expanded open-type features, including positional numerals, alternate forms, and extended ligatures and bringing the glyph count to over 1000 characters.

A monolinear sans serif typeface with rounded corners and condensed proportions, strictly based on modular geometric design, it was at first designed in five weights to be used as a condensed companion typeface to the rounded display family Arista. In 2019 the family was completely redesigned by the Zetafonts Team, expanding the original character set to include cyrillic and greek glyphs and adding four extra weights and italics to the original weight range. I really like creating script fonts. Why, I hear you say? Well, creating script fonts lets me be me. I am not trying to create classy, connected fonts for you to write love letters with: there are already too many of those available and quite frankly, I just don't like them. I prefer the messy script fonts - uneven, no real baseline and with a bit of splatter or rough edges for good measure. Daft script is one of these messy script fonts: it was handmade and it comes with two alternates for the lower case glyphs that cycle as you type. This is an all-caps font, so that means you have 4 options per letter! I also love languages (I speak 6), so Daft Script comes with fantastic language support, including Vietnamese and Sami.

Skeletal Wish is a line from one of my favourite Opeth songs: Heir Apparent. The lyrics are pretty veiled and bleak, describing the destruction and downfall of something that once was beautiful. I am worried about what is happening with our planet: the Amazon forest is burning down, our oceans are full of plastic and the earth is warming up. I had to think of this when I created Skeletal Wish and I thought the title was perfect. Skeletal Wish is a heavy and scary halloween font. It comes with blobs, splatter, gore and whatever else you may need for your designs. It won’t help save the Amazon rainforest, nor will it stop the flow of marine plastic, but you could use it to create a protest sign. After all, the change begins with you.

Du is a self hommage to Uncertain Felttip. Uncertain, made in 2008, is a typeface which reproduced faithfully the style in which I am writing on copy paper, usually using the felt-tip pen. This time, I wrote the new family by the same method but using the tablet PC and the touch pen. Although, as for some characters, Uncertain differs in a form, it is the result of reflecting my hand writing. I wrote all the characters. If it is original, all the characters diverted and composed, for example, characters, such as Aacute and Agrave, are written. Different specification from Uncertain is family composition. Although Uncertain had only 3 weight, 7 weight were designed for Du. This way a user can choose his favorite weight because the variation of weights increased.
