Aphrosine is a font based on pointed pen script. A huge lot of alternatives and smart OpenType features allow it to look almost indistinguishable from real live handwriting. Aphrosine is something between handwriting and calligraphy: it took too much effort for being “just handwriting” but lacks seriousness and regularity comparing to true calligraphic fonts. That’s why it was called after a peculiar character from a children’s book: a witch who was very fond of dressing, makeup and writing letters. Aphrosine has three faces. But unlike most other type families, the glyphs from one face do not match exactly the glyphs from another one. The faces are based on writing with different nibs but by the same hand. The type is designed by Alexandra Korolkova and Alexander Lubovenko and released by ParaType in 2015.

La Portenia pays homage to the spirit of early 20th-century show card writers and type designers. This face has two variations: La Portenia de Recoleta is slightly more formal and polite, while La Portenia de la Boca has longer, more extravagant flourishes and indulges in more interletter space. This showier variant is reminiscent of signs found in Buenos Aires. Both have been designed by Diego Giaccone and Angel Koziupa, and engineered and expanded by Alejandro Paul.

LECO 1983 is a headline display OpenType typeface with its three styles: LECO 1983: regular LECO 1983 Blind: without interiors of signs LECO 1983 Negative: in its inverse form. The inspiration for creating this font came from the label on a 1983 bottle of Lečo. The characteristic feature of this font is an embedded diacritic. The monolinear character of drawings is dominant. This font is drawn as capital letter type for both: upper case and lower case letters. It contains alternatives of some signs (e, f, g, m, n, y) and (& and a glyph No) but it consists several interesting alternatives (ligatures) of pairs as (in, on, of, by) as well. This font is best used on strong posters or as a headline display typeface.

Rosvard is our new old fashioned typeface. Inspired by vintage signages and brewery emblems. You could feel the vintage vibe on our preview images. Although you could use it to modern design as well. Since our last font just single font. We decide to make another layered font like we did in the past. This one in particular contains Stripe, Outline, Regular, Extrude and Shadow. You could combined all of them of just use two or three of them as you like. We also give you the separate ornaments we used for the preview image as an icon/dingbat font. You could mix and match each part to make your own badge / emblem. Because we believe you could do it.

Professor Minty is a cartoon-inspired kind of comic font with a lotta bounce and a whole buncha spooky fun. Both regular and bold are based on Chank’s first fonts, Mister Frisky and Uncle Stinky. The Bold version is brand new in 2011, never before available. But here both of those fonts are combined into one extra-savvy font that does all kinds of tricks. It has many extra special OpenType features, like Swash, Contextual Alternates and Small caps and more. There’s even a “decaf” feature (Stylistic Set #1) which tones it down a bit if the account people think it is just too exciting. Works good for Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day, oddly enough. Automoto is built from a limited number of curved and straight segments that have been flipped and rotated. It has an extensive set of two- and three-letter ligatures that form a triple ribbon resembling a model car racetrack. For clarity, some character combinations were excluded as they proved to be ambiguous in context. The upper- and lowercase characters can be freely intermixed according to taste.

From alphabets created for book illustrations in the 1970s to lettering created for a book jacket in the 1990s, the Mentor family of typefaces has developed along its own slow and circuitous path. Always present in its evolution, though, has been the influence of three 20th century design giants: Eric Gill, Reynolds Stone, and Hermann Zapf, as filtered through the meticulous sensibility of Michael Harvey.
