Not that I would ever dream of comparing my messy brush-work with theirs, but the name stuck and I kind of liked it. I used Chinese ink and a high quality brush (which I got in a sale actually) to create this font. All glyphs were hand painted in one go! Sanseki is a very detailed brush font. Upper and lower case letters mingle and there’s even an alternate for every lower case glyph. Comes with an abundance of diacritics.

It was inspired by a (real)estate agent's For Sale board seen in an old sepia photograph from that era and combines visual flair and period with good clear legibility. Filou is a genuine bastard inspired by three different typefaces. It consists of three weights: "Regular", "Medium" and "Extra" which can be easily mixed together.

Kidcut is a typeface created by cutting glyphs out of paper with scissors. The shapes are irregular, giving the impression of being cut out by a child. The typeface contains upper and lower case letters of the Latin alphabet (basic, Eastern, Western and South Western Europe, Vientamese and Pinyin) and three contextual alternates from each glyph, which is very important when there are three identical letters in one word - then we have the impression of handmade, not repetitive.

Paquita was my first foray into the turbulent world of typography. Created in full in about three hours drawing directly into the program, technically speaking was a disaster. The child handwriting characteristic is developed in the ArgentaBobbed fonts, which add dots or little balls to the ends of letters. (Could they be called, "Ball Serif?")

A 1920 art magazine from Great Britain entitled “Pan” had its three letter name hand lettered on the cover in a style that had elements of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and what would eventually be called Techno in the 1980s. Inspired by Typoart’s Minima, Tablica which comes in three styles - Regular, Italic, Bold - fills ideally narrow columns, charts and tables. Since all numerals are monospaced, you can sum up all numbers of a table. Though this is a condensed sans serif family, it offers a high legibility even in small degrees.

Sheet music for a song featured in "East to West", a film starring Mexican bombshell Dolores Del Rio, had the movie's name lettered in a bold sans style with early Art Deco influences. East to West JNL preserves not only the name, but all of the characteristics of this wonderful bit of typographic nostalgia.

The Samba family was inspired by the lettering art of J. Carlos, a Brazilian illustrator during the early 20th century. Turned into a workable series of fonts by the contemporary Brazilian designers Tony and Caio de Marco, Samba is especially recommended for use in logos, flyers, posters, and tattoos! This family offers the user a chance to mix three different styles of lettering into one coherent design, which can be very useful in solving certain design problems. While the regular Samba face is made up of mono-line letters, the style of Samba bold offers much more of a thick to thin contrast. The Samba Expert set displays lavish swash endings, which were inspired by Brazilian metal work. The Samba family was one of the winners selected during the 2003 International Type Design Contest, sponsored by Linotype GmbH.
