Velino is the most recent of our premium typefaces. The serif version comes in two packages with three widths: Velino, Velino Condensed, and Velino Compressed. The display package contains high-contrast typefaces, with a modern flair—very feminine but with plenty of character, especially designed for fine print in big text sizes. The text package was designed for any running text. Its proportions and colors make it the ideal for text, even in very difficult conditions such as newspaper printing. We also designed the perfect companion to this enormous type system: Velino Poster, a slab serif typeface with only one weight and its respective italic, but with plenty of muscle, for every time some extra strength is needed, such as setting very big text, magazine covers or newspapers’ special sections. Finally, we designed Velino Sans and Velino Sans Condensed to perfectly match the weight and proportions of Velino, all with matching italics.

Blacker mono was developed out of a brief by Isabella Ahmadzadeh, by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and Francesco Canovaro for the editorial project "A beautiful mistake" by OFFF Tlv in 2022. It is a monospaced version of our typeface Blacker, bringing its "evil serif" aesthetics in the realm of typewriter and coding typefaces. In designing these, usually the letterforms are deformed to better fill the space, but in Blacker Mono only the serifs are modified to balance letters, while letter skeletons are kept consistent with the ones of the original Blacker family. This gives the typeface an uneven, unexpected rhythm, underlined by the unusual choice of providing three optical sizes and some extreme display weights - both uncommon choices in monospaced fonts. The resulting typefamily is thought for use in editorial situations where readability must be married by a strong personality, and is complemented by all the wide array of Open Type features that are present in all Blacker variants, from positional numerals to small case letters and alternates.

Santa Rita is a new casual and modern script. This brush style typeface is the perfect blend of elegance and spontaneity. With the total number of 752 glyphs, is equipped with plenty of OpenType features. Uppercase letters can alternate between at least three different forms that can be combined with some ornaments and lowercase letters have leastways five choices more to avoid repetition. These effects include start and end forms of lowercase letters. To activate the optional glyphs you may click on Swash, Contextual or Stylistics Alternates, Standard or Discretionary Ligatures buttons in any OpenType savvy program or manually choose the characters from Glyph Palette. Also, there’s a set of 60 ornaments designed to support the font (access the ornaments through the Glyph Palette) and an important set of catchwords. The Santa Rita font might be the choice to use on creating headlines, logos & posters for branding and packaging purposes. Hope you enjoy!

Caridade is a bold and powerful script face. It draws some inspiration from heavy brush drawn vintage hand lettering but its heavy weight is much thicker with plenty of impact and more contemporary letterforms. The face offers a wide array of weights, from the powerful Heavy weight to the graceful Thin. Caridade can get the job done for many unique design tasks. Caridade includes many useful OpenType features, including a set of non-connecting alternates, 40 ligatures, and two types of end letterforms. OpenType features include ornaments, swash endings, ending contextual alternates, discretionary ligatures, ligatures and three different stylistic sets filled with alternates. In total, there are over 60 alternate letterforms. Please see the sample .pdf to see these features in action. OpenType capable applications such as Quark or the Adobe suite can take full advantage of the automatically replacing ligatures and alternates. This family also includes the glyphs to support a wide range of languages.

The drawings, for what is now Triplex Italic, were done in Iowa City in 1985 by John Downer. The italic was originally conceived as a companion for another typeface being drawn at the same time called Arcatext, which (like Triplex) could be described as a "humanist sans-serif" having simplified character shapes constructed mostly of geometric parts. At one stage, a certain customer was interested in Arcatext but wanted a different italic drawn for it, so the plan for the italic took another direction and the idea for this one was dropped. Five years later, Emigre decided to commission the abandoned italic as a digital typeface in three weights as companions to the Triplex Sans and Serif families designed by Zuzana Licko in early 1990. The ascenders and descenders have been shortened to match those of Triplex and the new capitals embody more of the features that distinguish the lower case, but otherwise the digital version closely follows the original drawings. Karacho is a ‘fat style’ geometric display typeface with two counter-styles, a stylistic set of lowercase letters, and multilayer options: the font design is separated in three layers for building individually colored font variants.

Solking is an Arabic typeface of a three weights : Sharp, Curved and Rounded . the main focus is on blending traditional and modern rules in the formulation and design of the Kufi type in new style .

A casual, open brush script style designed with a shadow effect for a three-dimensional impression by British designer Martin Wait. This typeface looks best with tight letter and word spacing in large display settings.

The inspiration source for Semicirculus Monogram is a stylish sans serif letterset from a vintage embroidery publication which combines to create a semi-circular form monogram. Originally intended to adorn handkerchiefs, it has so many other possibilities. Ornaments from numerous antique specimen books were combined with the letter set to accent and complete its form. This is one of many monogram designs for the early 1900s which fall into a two letter format that is either adorned or interwoven with ornamentation. Randolph is a popular font family from Jukebox done in an old fashioned copperplate etching style that harkens back to the days of old leather-bound shop ledgers and hand painted window signs. Cigar is a revival of a 1970s and 1980s typeface called Cucumber or Nassel Black or Scanner. It has been carefully redrawn and expanded into a full-featured OpenType font. Citrine is a study in curves, based upon word-processing and in-game text. A tall lowercase makes for easy reading, curved joints give it friendliness, and broad spacing delivers distinctive all-caps treatments. Here’s a downloadable PDF specimen. Citrine’s basic idea began as “a Havelock for reading.” Essential geometry delivers a sense of harmony, and forms sit broadly next to each other to be easily read, even onscreen and very small. Sassoon Felt’s more casual letterforms can be used either as informal text or for the teaching of reading and handwriting; having the letterforms most taught in UK schools. Hello Buena - From Wood to Digital Type Buena is the first word I read on a letterpress paper, printed by my colleague and friend Wolfgang Wick. I was fascinated by the power of this fat wooden letters at first glance. So I started to create a digital version of it and »Buena Black« was born. Due to the fact that the original punches had only upper- case glyphs, I created the lowercase characters by myself. After that it was time to design the family... Buena is full of OpenType features.
