A ”modern“ Gothic – designed according to principles of modern form in three variations Faber Gotik is a reminiscence of Gutenberg’s first script from around 1450. After Smart's death in 1998, type designer Rod McDonald decided that something should be done to commemorate Smart's life and achievements.
