It was originally inspired by my winter scarf knitting exploits. I discovered that making wool scarves was generating beautiful patterns and I wanted them to become a source of inspiration for a style. I made a few collages, and they became letters. Other characters came up with ease. It is readable, but long essays are not its main purpose. It is decorative and will look casual and very attractive on any ad as a title or a short phrase. It also demonstrates very good performance in automatic 3D generators, like Xara 3D maker, used in making examples of how this font can be utilised. It was designed to be thin, soft, with the capacity to cover empty space and to create a vibrant environment. Small characters are different from capital letters, they are stylistic alternates. Some letters are slightly ominous or dynamic, others create a soothing feeling. Using several colors make it shine, but it is complex, it looks good in monochromatic compositions as well.

The Vtg Stencil fonts from astype are based on real world stencils from several countries. The Italian stencils that I chose as a model for this font are roughly based on classic French stencil letters. Please compare the figures (numbers) with their French counterparts. However, the Italian stencils are made with a different production technique. The design of the letters is clearly not punch-cut into the plates, maybe they are drilled, milled or etched. Details such as the serifs look bold and clumsy, and when using the stencils as they are meant, with viscous sign paint, smaller details easily fade away. So I took my freedom to design a font close to the original design but adding several typographic tweaks to let it shine, hoping to get closer to the intended design idea of these Italian stencils. Juicy is different… in a good way. An art deco-inspired, high-contrast, upright semi-script, layered typeface best describes the playful letterforms that make up Juicy Pro (semi-connected) and Juicy Simple (unconnected). Great care has been taken to provide a wide complement of options and intelligent letter combinations thanks to OpenType. And that’s right, Juicy *is* a layered semi-script typeface. Pro and Simple variants provide a full character set (yep, lowercase). Pro variants include a wide variety of Stylistic, Swash, and Titling Alternates to really allow the expressiveness of the typeface shine… and all characters are available in the layered font counterparts… no shortcuts were taken on the delivery of this typographic chimera.

Lemongrass is a connected script typeface for display use. It was inspired by brush lettering and the sea and the strong winds that exist in Porto. These winds are called "nortada", which was also the developing name of the font. It has low contrast and smooth connections to get a good rhythm in the text. Otari aims to capture the essence of Wellington, New Zealand in a single typeface. Monoplan is a versatile monospaced sans serif typeface. Minimal shapes and straight sides are definitive features of the typeface. Tables, headers, code blocks, signages or other small informative texts are the standard places where Monoplan shines. Different alternatives such as square dots, alternate /a /y /6 /9, coverage of 94 Latin languages, various Opentype features, and 5 styles expand the usage area of ​​Monoplan.

TpLlum is a typeface designed by TwoPoints for a festival in Barcelona called ‘Montjuïc de Nit’. Llum means light in Catalan. In the Montjuïc de Nit project the font was used in white over a dark grey background, letting the light of a backlit poster shine through. For this purpose the typeface had to be very bright, which was made possible by its heavy cut.

Etelka Slab is a slab-serif variation of Stormtype's Etelka. In the process of adding serifs are applied some arched elements to emphasize its unique character. The usual range of OpenType functions is present as well as multi-lingual capability. You can use Etelka Slab wherever you intended to put Etelka, but with even sharper, louder expression. It shines in corporate identity and branding.

Sumergible Script is a striking font that simulates it has been written with a dry pointed brush on textured paper. Its purpose is to decorate and accompany photos, illustrations and textures by letters designed with a generous horizontal spacing between lowercase which reinforces the idea of hurriedly and interrupted cursive calligraphy. In that sense it is spontaneous and useful to form vibrant words and sentences, shining short messages on book covers, posters and other graphic design media. Sumergible Script has new alternative letter forms that are activated with OpenType features creating hierarchy changes in writing. With Swash for example, you can change the character case with metric and similar proportions. With Titling it becomes even more expressive capitalization. Other OpenType features are: Fractions and Superscript. In short, Sumergible Script is designed to mix and match words and short phrases with a vital and expressive handwritten feel.

Floyal Rush is 100% handmade, it’s organic looking and super friendly in a funky wobbly way! Although inspired by grafitti, Floyal Rush has got this cartoon and whimsical vibe to it. I don’t know about using Flyal Rush for massive text, but I would suggest short words and shout-outs - but I dare you! Go ahead and challenge me! I have added 3 versions, which fit together: Solid, Shine and Regular.

Hairline fonts are very clean, shining, elegant and even luxurious. They look great in fashion magazines, in the expansive world of beauty and glory. Messner is an extra-light all-caps face, especially suitable for larger sizes. Simplicity, purity and readability of its classic forms were on the first place in the creation process. Messner was a resource for designing the Kammerlander family and their combination looks very natural.

Triz is a high-contrast monospaced sans-serif, bringing together a typewriter rhythm and a fashion magazine look.
