Lota Grotesque was designed by Daniel Hernández with the collaboration of Rodrigo Fuenzalida and Latinotype Team in digital editing. The family comes in 7 weights with matching italics and includes alternative versions that provide high versatility and functionality. The whole font family is composed of 4 subfamilies that share exactly the same number of characters and styles but with differences in programming and default characters. Lota Grotesque contains a 760-character set that supports 219 languages and includes alternative characters, discretionary ligatures, small caps, and a variety of figures and fractions—a wide range of typographic tools to meet different design needs.

The starting point for Wildcat was the 3×5 squared grid popular for tiled lettering and American sportswear typefaces. However, Wildcat breaks free of the net whenever necessary. This typeface comes across as tough, it has no soft curves, and evokes strength and confidence. Unlike other collegiate-style fonts, Wildcat includes a real lowercase which makes the face particularly usable and adaptable. Wildcat also contains a full complement of Latin Extended-A characters. Three fonts are included in the download; Regular, College and Outline. The College and Outline fonts share identical spacing and kerning, so can be overlapped to create bicolor artwork.

Macho Moustache is closely related to Macho Modular , the parent type with which it shares modular widths and most letterforms. The difference is that Macho Moustache follows the ‘Grotesque' tradition of tight apertures for a, c, e and s as well as some of the numerals. Original design work started together with Macho Modular in 2008. Now the range and communication potential of the Macho family has been developed with five weights. Since the Macho family was designed bearing in mind the idea of Themerson's semantic typography, Macho Moustache features all sets of modular brackets and underlinings.

New Millennium Linear is one of three font families that share a common name, a common design philosophy, a common x-height, and basic character shapes. (The others are New Millennium and New Millennium Sans; all three work well together.) New Millennium Linear is a "monotone" newer version of the Sans face whose smooth, geometric, "Gothic" look gives it a completely different personality. The typeface comes with regular, bold, italic, and bold italic styles, each with a complete character set. New Millennium Linear might best be used in captions, callouts, labels, titles, and similar display situations.

I have been to Japan many times, but I have to admit that I have not (yet) been to Odaiba, so this font is a reminder that I should go there one day. Odaiba is a large artificial Island in the bay of Tokyo. It is a popular shopping and sightseeing destination and its sights include a copy of the Statue of Liberty and a mega-sized Gundam Robot. Odaiba Script is a handwritten font. I used a Sharpie pen on paper, so it is nice and thick. It comes with double letter ligatures and all diacritics.

I found this type specimen on the statue of Jan Hus in Prague’s Old Town Square. The statue was designed in 1903 by Ladislav Saloun, and its writing is the cutest Nouveau font I've ever seen. Filling in the blanks, I realized the need for a standard lower case because the caps are so wild. The result is a very type-able and dynamic Nouveau. dT Ampla shares many characteristics of the versatile sans typefaces of today: nice range of five weights with matching italics, 40+ supported languages, contemporary upper-to-lowercase proportions and impeccable performance in big and text sizes. However, all these features are designed with distinct shapes and details. Notice the angled terminals – the cut at the end of the strokes – or how the vertical strokes in the italics seem to 'bend' a little, for instance. Hurme Geometric Sans No.4 includes seven weights with true Small Caps, obliques and swash alternates. Uppercase swash alternates can be automatically applied to all characters or just to first and last characters of each word. Calypso I (Italian) draws its inspiration from type founders' plentiful show-off-letters, which were typical on title pages and lithographs in the early 19th century. It borrows luscious details from these but inherits a stiff modern backbone from its parent, Calypso E (Egyptian). Within the Calypso type family all fonts share the same dimensions and work together consistently. Calypso I supports many languages and includes, for example, four sets of basic numerals, circled numbers, alternative characters, case sensitive forms and dingbats. Give it a go on drop caps and headlines or even set short paragraphs with it. It loves colour and effects.

This simplified blackletter typeface shares some geometric characteristics with a line of typefaces popular that were especially popular in Germany during the 1920s and 30s. Their forms may have originally come about after a desire to mix the classical Fraktur" forms found in typefaces like Linotype Luthersche Fraktur or Fette Fraktur with more modern sans serif typefaces, like Basic Commercial or Futura. ITC Honda's letters are rather narrow and angular. The type can be used for a number of headlines or logo purposes, and is best legible when set large. A similar typeface in our library is Linotype Gotharda."

The story of creating is short: I made a font that would support the concept of the website. And then it seemed to me that this font could have more uses, so I decided to share it. Ritz Slab Serif JNL is a bold display face which shares a lot of similar design traits to Stymie and other similar metal type of the 1930s and 1940s, but in actuality was modeled from only four letters. On the sheet music for the 1937 song "Sweet Varsity Sue" [from the 20th Century Fox Film "Life Begins in College"], there is a picture of the Ritz Brothers - a popular comedy team from 1925 through the late 1960s. The hand lettered name "Ritz" became the basis for Ritz Slab Serif JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.

This square serif typeface is a real workhorse. It is a modern tool for text design: extremely legible and well shaped. Bandera has six weights with original italics. It catches attention in headlines of posters and magazines or makes reading comfortable in plain texts. Bandera shares main proportions with sans serif Osnova Pro typefamily so ideally can pair it. It has Bandera Text and Bandera Display sister families as well. Please check also Pro version for pan-european support (full Latin-Greek-Cyrillic). Bandera is Spanish for ‘flag’. And Bandera is a symbol of Ukrainian fighting for freedom for many years.

Hogar Slab, based on the Hogar typeface, is the result of combining a script and a slab serif into a single type system. The system has a monolinear style composed of a slab serif and a script slab serif version that share similar proportions, weight interpolations and details. Hogar Slab is basically a slab serif with script gestures and a script with slab serif shapes. In order to make the system more complete, I included an italic version, which represents a transition between both main styles. Additionally, I developed a set of patterns including some furniture designs by well-known architects.

Take The Money is a wonky all caps font, made with a Sharpie pen. The name was inspired by something I read in the newspaper: apparently a Danish artist received €72.000 from a museum to create two works of art. The works of art should depict the average income of someone from Austria and someone from Denmark - in real money. The museum then loaned him the €72.000 and told him he'd receive €3.300 for his work. The artist decided that €3.300 would merely cover the costs, so he delivered two empty canvases and called the work: Take The Money And Run.

I designed Mirage using ink and a calligraphy brush to evoke the writing styles of ancient and exotic civilizations. After completing the project, it was filed and forgotten. About 15 years later, I was sifting through some of my old art files and found a "photostat" of the entire character set... a truly a magnificent archeological discovery. Then I thought, hey, maybe it's day has come. Why not share it with the world?... a completely digitized version for the new millennium. This unique font is a versatile, calligraphic option for travel, history, and greeting card themes. What other uses can you imagine?

Sisters is a lively set of stencil display typefaces designed by Type-Ø-Tones’ co-founder Laura Meseguer. The family features four fresh fonts that share foundational principles of construction yet complement each other—as sisters do—by celebrating their differences. Variations in contrast, weight, and design characteristics result in four distinct styles dubbed One through Four. This cool quartet contains no lowercase, asserting the family’s rightful place in the titling typography space. Like many Type-Ø-Tones typefaces, Sisters was conceived as a custom lettering project—in this case, the design was crafted for the identity of an art exhibition. Laura initially drew only the limited character set the show required, but from the outset, she saw great potential for a fully developed type family based on her lettering concept. The first member of Laura’s new family was, naturally, Sisters One. She later added contrast to produce Sisters Two, then equalized the weight of Sisters Two to create Sisters Three. To round out the group, Laura added a deco touch to Sisters Two, resulting in the festive but retro-elegant Sisters Four. Each Sister shares DNA with the other members of the family, just as human siblings do :). Credit for the Sisters name goes to Eider Corral and we couldn’t imagine a more fitting moniker for this little family.

In the early 1970s Ed Benguiat drew the International Typeface Corporation's logo, a flowing script that many have hoped would one day be expanded into a complete font. A rough-and-ready hand-brushed script, with edgy lines and awesome character! It includes opentype features - stylistic alternates for the lowercase letters, and a comprehensive set of natural looking Ligatures to add to the realistic nature of the typeface. Lucky Fellas font family includes a complimentary textured titling sans serif font, and some super sexy swashes and splatters font to add some finishing touches to your designs.

The idea about Phenotype was to achieve a unique visual effect by touching serifs. Characters form ligatures, but every combination looks different. Touching serifs form connecting character images, e.g. like logotypes on old refrigerators or oldtimer cars, something like the fonts of Leslie Carbarga. The design idea is based on monospaced and heavy serif fonts like Courier, Isonorm Memphis or Rockwell. However, obviously, Phenotype is not a monospaced typeface.

Freeland is a casual brush typeface, with a rich, inky texture, and just a bit of a masculine, edgy vibe. It’s modern, bold, and lively, but not too whimsical. Features plenty of ligatures and stylistic alternates for a realistic, hand-lettered look. Fitzronald is a body text typeface with a strong personality combined with a good legibility in small sizes. It is an excellent book typeface, but it can be used in e.g. advertising and packaging as well. Due to its good legibility at low resolution, it is a superb website and e-book typeface. Fitzronald is based on Ronaldson, an American typeface originally cut by MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan in 1884.

This elegant and somewhat edgy typeface is a faithful revival of Numantina, designed by Carl Winkow amd released by Madrid's Fundición Tipográfica Nacional in the 1940s. The lowercase letters take their design cues from medieval Spanish uncial lettering, making this face a natural choice for intriguing headlines and subheads. Both versions feature the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turskish 1254 character sets, with localization for Lithuanian, Moldovan and Romanian.
