The original Lawabo was started many years ago by Rainer Scheichelbauer. Its ­minimalistic and rounded shapes are reminiscent of bathroom ceramics, hence the name. Schriftlabor designer Miriam Surányi added bold and italic shapes, and produced the family.

A modern interpretation of Ancient letter shapes

Throughout the history of typography there have been countless attempts to simplify the alphabet. In the early 20th century, modernist designers experimented with reducing the alphabet to basic geometric shapes. Prozac pushes this utopian experiment further by reducing the roman alphabet to just six shapes. These shapes are then flipped or rotated to make up the 26 letters of the alphabet. Prozac is available without prescription in lite and max versions.

Houdini was extemporized from the single word "Houdini" on a lithographed poster for the magician. The original was a shaded outline like our Houdini Shaded font, but we felt that a solid version would be worthwhile too. Like the companion font Houdini, the shaded version was created from the single word Houdini on an old lithographed poster for the famous magician. The original was hand-lettered by a litho lettering artist.

Silly, as the name suggest, is a somewhat silly font with uppercase letters and it is based on the characteristic expression of the stencil shape. FP Silly is available in two versions, with either rounded or angular shapes.

This is a romantic set of ornaments inspired by Valentine’s Day. It includes calligraphic flourishes which include heart shapes, and many that can be combined to form heart shapes, as well as images of hearts, roses, and cupid’s arrows.

Fukurō recalls diurnal and nocturnal birds of prey. It instills the cutting shapes, the wings, the movement of those animals and translate them into signs. The font experiments new shapes and contrasts that give to it some Japanese aspects.

Niemi is a continuation of the work started with Versteeg. Where Versteeg was separated into individual circles, Huet connects these circles and adds a sharp geometric style. This creates a nice juxtaposition between the rounded ends, and sharp corners.

A redraw of Beton, Bauer, Intertype. with additional weights, shorter x-height and new Italic styles. Roman and Italic share same Roman Caps. Hunter has some text kerning but requires subjective display kerning and compensation.

Theatrics JNL gives a rounded corner treatment to Prismatiq JNL; which in turn was modeled from lettering found in an early 1900s French lettering book displayed at an online image sharing site. Limited character set.

Ico Weather is a set of 115 symbols depicting weather, temperature, weather forecast and astronomy. To name a few, there are sun, clouds, rain, snow, thermometers, wind socks, tornados, volcanoes, weather warnings as well as symbol for raining fish. The style of Ico is inspired by the look of symbols used on the classic monochrome LCD displays. The symbols are monolinear with rounded corners, composed of a smallest possible number of elements. In addition, the rounded style is accompanied by a second style with sharp corners and more detailed drawing. All symbols of Ico share the same width, making the font compatible with the LCD typeface ION. Together, they are the perfect sollution for LCD style typography. A high lower-case x-height geometric sans with open counters, Regulator Nova is extremely legible at text sizes and in extended settings while the range of weights also make it suitable for headlines. CoreDodam is a geometric shaped title font with unique structure. The shape of each character is very simple and modern. Depending on shape, some characters have different heights. It makes the line of text rhythmically. Supported codepages are MS Windows 1252 Latin1 and MS Windows 949 Korean consisting of 11,172 Korean letters and Symbols except Chinese. We recommend to use for the title or short sentence on posters and especially useful for design works.

The signs of the Bosnian pyramids The pyramid researcher, Semir Osmanagic, began excavations in 2005 in Visoko, Bosnia, 30 km North from Sarajevo. Mr. Senad Hodocic, the curator at the local museum, pointed out at the pyramidal shape of the Visocica Mountain, which grabbed Osmanagic's attention. It is also suspected that the four adjacent hills, covered by plants and greenery, also hide the pyramids. The main sites of the excavations are called the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, and the results achieved so far have already proved that those structures are man-made and artificial. The Pyramid of the Sun is bigger and older than the pyramid in Giza, which was built by Pharaoh Cheops 4600 years ago. Gábor Szakács, who went to the site in June 2006 for the first time, found the symbols on the megalithic blocks inside the tunnel of the Pyramid of the Sun, which correspond to the ancient Hungarian runic writings. Time will tell the truth.

This font began its life as a project to design a T-shirt for a student group on a large midwestern university. It has now grown up into a unicode font, including Greek and Cyrillic. It has that look and feel of the T-shirts that are ubiquitous on the campuses of colleges and universities over the world. It would make an ideal tool for designing them, as well as posters and banners. A tessellation is a shape that can be used to completely fill the plane without gaps or overlaps—simple examples are isosceles triangles, squares, and hexagons. Tessellation patterns are eye-catching and visually appealing, which is the reason that they have long been popular in a variety of decorative situations. TessieSomeMore has two family members, a solid style that must have different colors to be useful and an outline style. They can be used separately or they can be used in layers with the outline style on top of the solid style. For rows to align properly, leading must be the same as point size. Most of the shapes in TessieSomeMore are Escher-like. Over half are either bug-like and bird-like shapes. There are also a few animal and other object shapes as well as some geometric or abstract shapes that have visual appeal.

After exploring tessellations for several years, I decided to see how many ways I could tessellate puzzle pieces. I began with a square template and used the same asymmetrical shape for all four edges. By flips or rotation each edge could be fitted in four ways. Eventually I discovered that, given this way of forming tiles, there were 15 distinct shapes that tessellate and these shapes can take a total of 96 orientations. (A note in the November 2016 issue of Mathematical Gazette has the proof for the 15 shapes.) This typeface contains those 15 shapes and 96 orientations. A pdf note here shows some of the tilings possible using only one shape in a pattern. An unlimited number of patterns are possible if shapes are mixed. There are two members of the family, a solid style that must have different colors when used and an outline style. They can be used separately or they can be used in layers with the outline style on top of the solid style. For rows to align properly, leading must be the same as point size. (Earlier tessellation fonts from IngrimayneType, the TessieDingies fonts, lack a black or filled version so cannot do colored patterns.)

Some words from the designer... West coast artist Teri Kahan developed a "design font" of 68 pictographs capturing the sentiments of relationship, connection and synchronicity. Many of the characters were created with phrases in mind like, "handing you the world on a platter", "howling at the moon", and "message in a bottle". Others represent life experiences. The clean, simple illustration style originates from the look of hand-carved rubber stamps, and lends itself beautifully to logos and graphics.

RooneySans is a humanist sans-serif typeface, and the latest addition to the Rooney family. It shares the same attributes as its seriffed companion – softly rounded terminals and a moderate contrast, thoughtfully applied to classical sans-serif proportions. Although RooneySans was developed as a stand-alone typeface family, it combines well with Rooney since both typefaces share the same stem weights and an equal gray value. RooneySans is suitable for any task in branding and packaging design and gives long texts a warm and inviting feel. All six weights from Light to Black come with matching real italics.
