Designed by George Belwe for Schelter & Giesecke in Dresden, Belwe is one of the first typefaces to show the elements of the style we have classified as Kuenstler. Deliberately unusual proportions and detailing break with traditional rhythm and hint at blackletter connections.

Eckhardt Speedletter JNL was named in honor of Al Eckhardt (1929-2005), a talented sign painter and good friend of font designer Jeff Levine. The font was inspired by hand lettering on a reproduction of a 1950s rock and roll show poster.

FF Mutual is a friendly geometric sans serif full of subtle, unexpected details. Designer Luis Bandovas drew inspiration from an unlikely source—the credits from one of his favorite childhood shows, Space 1999—and turned that spark into a typeface that is warm and approachable, but contemporary. Bandovas built FF Mutual on a geometric skeleton, but the typeface has enough humanist touches to offset the rigidity usually found geometric designs. These touches are most apparent in the italics, where curved strokes on the “a” and “l” bring a softness to text. Generous spacing, angular details on letters like the “r” and “t,” and flared terminals on the “e,” “s,” and “c,” add further character to the design. FF Mutual’s bold shapes and retro-inspired warmth make it ideal for headlines, where the subtle details can really shine. The typeface is similarly well-suited for small blocks of text such as captions and call-outs, packaging design, and branding.

Antonietta is Mauricio Astete Brito's first typeface, which is inspired by the eccentricity of the rococo style and Queen Marie Antoinette's wild personality. This project, supervised by Latinotype Team, was born from the idea of turning lettering into a digital typeface. Antonietta is based on the Copperplate style and inspired by the works of, among others, Hermann Zapf, Ricardo Rousselot and Herb Lubalin. The font comes in the following variants: Antonietta Script, Antonietta Caps, Antonietta Caps Illuminated, Antonietta Caps Shadow, Antonietta Caps Inline and Antonietta Ornaments. Antonietta Script is characterised by a big x-height, condensed proportions, and short ascenders and descenders, which can be modified by using the contextual alternates included in the set. Antonietta Caps, a companion font to the Script, is an all-caps typeface with rational structure and high contrast between thin and thick strokes. Antonietta is a 7-weight typeface well-suited for logotypes, labelling, headlines and short text. The Script variant contains a set of 878 characters that provide a wide range of contextual alternates to fit any project. The typeface also comes with an 'Ornaments' variant, which includes dingbats, borders and catchwords that complement the rest of the fonts.

Firstly is playful serif. The range of weights can be used to maintain an even colour across different sizes. Use it normally or all caps and play with baseline, give more bounce to composition. Shelflife is a display typeface with some extras under the lid. It features all the Standard Open-Type features you'd expect, like Class Kerning and Ligatures, plus some other useful additions and of course accented characters for most European languages and others. In essence it's an easy-to-read headline font with clean lines and a bit of character. There's an outline version that can be layered with the standard version to give the shadow effect seen in the accompanying graphics, simplicity itself to do. There's boxed headlines for SALE, SPECIAL, DISCOUNT (20 in total) all ready-made, plus some which can be tilted at an angle, and done automatically - just easily typed in; easy-to-do bullet numbers; a choice of square or rounded dots on j,ffi, and so on in Stylistic Alternatives; and shorter alternatives for U and N with accents. Details are included in the zip files. The zip file will contain both the OTF and TTF versions of the font. Install only one version, either the OTF or TTF, but not both - otherwise you will get all sorts of incompatibility issues and problems.

Sidewalk Cafe will serve up a look from your Font Menu that’s delectably deco. Though developed from a few hand-lettered words found on a 1930s poster, it retains a contemporary flavor. The shaded version is designed to be layered over Sidewalk Cafe Underlay, to create contrasting color possibilities, as both share the same kerning values. Supports Western and Central European Latin languages, in addition to Baltic, Celtic, Esperanto, Romanian and Turkish.

Starx is a variable display typeface with angular lines, offering a futuristic and dynamic aesthetic. It consists of three axes: angular, rounded, and slanted. The bold version embodies a strong and high-tech expression, while the italic and rounded versions convey a dynamic, sporty, and futuristic impact.

TurvyTopsy offers all the fun of delightful hand-drawn irregularity, captured in a typeface. Designing this was a wonderful exercise in ignoring all the rules of precise geometric construction to which we normally work. These irregular forms somehow achieve a delightful character & legibility all of their own.

Allaina is a stylish and elegant Serif family consisting of three styles, Regular, Medium and Bold with matching italics. It has many alternates and some unique attractive ligatures. This pretty serif family could be used for fashion, label packaging or elegant vintage style lettering. Combining standard letters with alternative letters wil give you beautiful and unique words.

Following from the continued popularity of the original MB Deco, here is Nuovo Deco, its new and improved big brother. Nuovo Deco comes in three weights, Light, Regular and Bold. A full character set of Caps and lower case letters, alternate characters, plus some very nice Ligatures to give some added art deco style and a much wider scope.

Melancholy is designed to be a rough and blotchy typeface that replicates ink from a typewriter. The letters themselves are meant to be imperfect with a nice flow. The typeface can act as a more natural sans-serif, and provide relief from reading normal perfect sans-serif typefaces. Melancholy comes in three different styles; regular, delusional and glitch.

The hand lettered title on the 1911 sheet music for “That Railroad Rag” was designed in a block style letter with spurred serifs. This simple typographic layout evokes the imagery of early rail transportation although the song itself is was a ‘modern’ composition of then-popular ragtime music. Railway Station JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.
