Tall, skinny handwritten letters in both a wide and a narrow version. The uppercase slots hold all of the wide versions, while the lowercase slots hold all of the narrow versions.

Mrs Summer is a hand drawn narrow typeface with a Western touch. It has only uppercase characters with alternate glyphs in place of lowercase letters and additional alternate glyph in a Stylistic Set. It has build in OpenType Contextual Alternates feature that will automatically set alternate glyphs depending on frequency of appearance of the same character (even in web font but only in HTML5 browsers). The script doesn’t just throw random glyphs. Additionally Mrs Summer is filled with ornaments, arrows, stars, horses, trees and a lot of other symbols.

Korb is a rounded sans serif family of four styles. It features a narrow geometric construction inspired by DIN letter shapes along with more unusual details like open counters and smooth connections between shoulders and stems. This makes the family suitable for a variety of applications, from corporate design to signalization. Cooks call thinly cut - like matchsticks - vegetables "Julienne". I found that was a fitting name for this very narrow typeface. Julienne Slim is the extreme cut of the two. Personally I do not use narrow typefaces very often, but from time to time they come in handy if there is much text to be crammed into little space. Nagel is a contemporary uniwidth display sans serif for headlines and short texts. It’s a closed low-contrast typeface with an emphasis on stroke joints. The length of the line set in Nagel remains the same in all weights. Nagel has all the advantages of monospaced typeface graphics, but none of their functional disadvantages. Characters in Nagel are made monospace-like wide, as opposed to traditionally narrow characters of proportional fonts, and often have slab serifs. Letters of monospaced fonts that have to be narrowed down considerably, have the usual width here. The scope of Nagel is branding and identity of IT companies, infographics, scientific and technical documentation — any areas where a technical, modern typeface with distinctive graphics may be required. The typeface includes three upright styles — Regular, Medium, Bold; two sets of 11 and 18 slanting degrees and a variable version with two axes: Weight and Slant. Newsprint JNL has its origins in an online auction image of wood type. Only the lower case a-z were shown and the type design included an extra-wide 'g' and 's'. Expanding on this idea but narrowing the 's' a bit, Jeff Levine created a capitals set and all of the necessary additional characters - even adding a generous selection of accented characters not usually found in his display fonts. Regular, oblique, narrow, narrow oblique, wide and wide oblique versions are available. All styles offer crisp, clean lettering for headlines, window signage and other display text applications.

Wild and carefree, the MardiKrewe Family is filled with spunk and personality. MardiKrewe started as a digitization of a film typeface called MardiGras by Lettergraphics. From there, this lively typeface was fleshed out to a full character set and expanded to a family of 5 widths: Extra Narrow, Narrow, Regular, Wide, and Extra Wide to fit a variety of funktastic needs.

Spaceland is a narrow display font family with constant counter width and gradually growing stroke over 11 weights with matching obliques. Aegypti 7 is a digital revival of Font No.7 or Egyptian Narrow - a Soviet display face cast for hand composition. I settled on the 12pt version as a basis for my digital version, as larger sizes added too much contrast to an otherwise quite orderly slab serif. The Soviet Font No.7 itself was based on an older Semi-Egyptian narrow cut before the revolution.

Cassandra has two kinds of letters, wide Capitals on the (shift) capitals and narrow ones on the (no shift) lowercase. You can match them as you like. Take one narrow S and a wide one or two wide ones, whatever turns you on. It will almost always look good. Cassandra is my "bow" to Adolphe Mouron Cassandre. The Unit Gothic series was released by Hamilton Manufacturing Co. in 1907. This sans serif family features one of the first multi width/weight type 'systems' anticipating the Univers font system by 50 years. A delicate narrow sans serif face with an apparent even weight, it is characterized by low cross strokes extended to the left.

TT Octas is a narrowly proportioned font family built upon the principle of octagonal forms: all circles in this font family are actually octagons. Thanks to small serifs, TT Octas has a saturated and vintage character to it. Simple depiction of the letters and the serifs make the family easily readable even in the smallest sizes. Narrow proportions allow for positioning of large text arrays even in small text fields. This font family is well fitted for brand visual identity and product labeling as well as for all digital media, such as web interfaces and gameplays. It is also great for mobile apps’ interfaces.

Many foundries had versions of Concave ‹ wide, narrow, extra condensed, some with lowercase, some without. A good general utility style for Victorian typography.

Artz is a highly stylized sans serif with a Deco look in Narrow, Plain and Wide. It has oldstyle numbers and many special characters.

Izmir is a modern, geometric font family. Izmir font family consists of 44 fonts in two widths, normal and narrow where each width consists of regular and italic styles in 11 weights. Veritas is a serif text family. It is a narrow-width typeface, with a taller x-height than Times Roman for added legibility, but maintains a similar character count in text.
